Like a child in the lead up to Christmas

(It always felt so far away)

I prayed to the stars that they may smile upon me

That they would send me an equal

A man worthy of my spirit

A protector, a lover, a romantic like me

A warrior with a gentle heart and a steady hand

Strong hands,

So they may catch me when I fall and guide me though the haze

(And rub my aching limbs on days I run too far from myself.)

It is no coincidence darling

It was always you.

My lover, my soulmate

The one who cracks my marble casing to release my laughter

The one who has me tripping over myself at the mention of your name

(That I say at least 50 times a day)

My shins are bruised but my heart is whole!

Nothing ever seemed quite right before you

And nothing ever will.

We are unshakeable.

Like a moment frozen in time with chaos whirling past our heads

Our love, is steadfast and true

For time is of no consequence when I'm looking at you.

Lost

In those hazel pools

I dive deep

And swim in the vastness of a love that has begged to find a harbour of it's own

A place to lay down arms and simply be........ loved.

I honour you and your lifetimes lived before me

I crown you my King

And I see you for all the people you have been

For all the heartache you have seen and bring with you to heal.

I am your harbour

Your safe place to land

I vow to love you through and over

Upside down and inside out

To shine a light on all the wonderful traits that make up who you are

And celebrate them on your behalf.

Because that is how you love me,

Equally!

And we promised to keep loving each other like this

And I'm excited to find new ways to keep this promise alive

To make you feel adored at any given moment of the day whether I'm present or not.

🌼🌻🍃'Our Garden'🌱🏵🌺 Our love is a forest Tenacious and wild, With the wisdom of oaks And the play of a child Climbing high in the branches Reaching up at the moon While our stories are humbling  Our roots to the womb. The birth place of lovers A garden I'm sure The soil, the belly  Of the Goddess, Amore. Your smile is sunshine Happy tears, welcome rain, Our sweet words grow flowers No two are the same. The colours so vivid Beneath the debris The wind casts the old Off of you, off of me. "Rest my darling" A sweet command from lover's lips I fight a little It isn't fair He's toiling while I sit Drinking from the well of his generosity. I'm not used to receiving I've never wanted to be a taker I use the time to catalogue all the ways he chooses me The obvious & the everyday moments in between I vow to never take him for granted For I've never known a man more beautiful in all my life I look at him & I'm overcome with desire & admiration Overwhelmed with such respect that my heart swells like a balloon in my chest I anticipate the deflation that never comes Just the constant ache of a heart that's grown too large for it's cage He looks at me with hazel eyes Twin galaxies that hold the wonder of a new day & the heaviness of love left behind He has lived 3 lifetimes & seen more than I'd ever wish to see And yet In quiet defiance to the pain that threatens to swallow a weaker man whole These hazel pools soften when they rest upon me. I'm so lucky I vow to never let him feel unloved or unworthy I cast aside my cloak, cape, veil, sword & shield, To kneel before him & worship him the way he worships me I am naked in my need My King My equal My greatest love I've been waiting for you. He tells me "Rest my darling" When I hear these words now I understand that it's not because my back aches or my feet are sore Or that I've endured so much this very day, He tells me "rest" And now I see that he's honouring me not only in this moment But in all of life's battles leading up to now Acknowledging my previous efforts at finding & keeping love (Whilst secretly celebrating their failure) We smile at this The fools! He tells me to rest & what he's really telling me Is that I've done enough so far That I'm enough That I'm loved I'm safe And I'm worthy He kisses me with the love of his lifetimes combined, The warmth spreads through every inch of my soul. His arms embrace me & I know with unprecedented certainty that I never want to be held by another again. No one else could love me like this We are the epitome of bliss! My best friend My soul mate He expects no compromise And meets me where I stand Which is proudly beside him Holding his hand I am home at last! SM

~Theta FM~ I'm changing the frequency Theta FM Awareness flowing through my chakras From root to crown It dances up and down. I'm belly to the ground A wooden bridge The entrance to my mum's property. My forehead is against the rough timber My lips bravely brush the corresponding beam My sight and smell scan the inbetween. A familiar creek performs below Running shallow for now. The scent of warm, musky timber fills my notstrils But it won't be for long There's a storm on it's way. I am far away From crowds, from cars From responsibility And yet the silence is thick with music An erratic fly Darting to and fro A cheeky kookaburra A willy wag tail An owl Crickets A society of cows being overly dramatic (As per usual) Raindrops. I watch the water navigate the pebbles below The patterns like radio waves Squiggly and purposeful. I'm mesmerised.... Something moves.... A tweenage water dragon scurries along her way Safe from the hound that lays dutifully by my side. A tiny black ant shuffles pass my eyeballs on the vertical face of the beam. My eyes need to cross to see him He's determined not to let me be in his way. My eyes unravel and swing right Ahhhh the faerie log Half submerged and still sprouting greenery like a cheap wig A community of micro organisms squatting on her skin. It's no surprise.... She's always had an open floor policy for funghis! 😊 I can see where the creek swells behind her and the trees densify up stream. The raindrops fall faster now Fat with pride and intention. The givers of life.... And the spoilers of ink on a page. I shall retreat only to put my earthly tools to rest And join the adventure below. Change the frequency. Grow Up

If you don’t intend to love me, Leave me be. It’s simple. I am a lover. I will love you, It’s what I do. And you will let me, To a point. To the marker in the road that holds the signpost for self discovery and healing. If you don’t intend to heal and feel grateful for your every breath you breathe, Then leave me be! I care not for selfish games. Self doubt ensured my fill, You’ve probably had yours too! We aren’t about ‘those’, ‘them’, 'they’. We are 'this’. We are 'now’. And we are blessed with this crossing of paths. If you don’t intend to honour my path or yours, Then leave me be. I am a work in progress this I know for sure. So entertain yourself with growing or find the goddamn door.

~Q&A~ The dark moon brought me a busy mind and a tumultuous heart. A head full of questions pining for sweet relief. But you know The problem with questions Is getting answers. Because when we get the answers We know For sure We lock it in like clues to a riddle And we're waiting for the penny to drop. "Gotchya!" Ownership of thought Possessing knowledge like it's gold bullion  Rather than honouring it for what it truly is Quicksilver Mercury slipping through our hands  The answers Do not bring our anxious hearts relief They only bring more questions More displacement of mind, not fullness. We're missing the point The problem with answers Is that when we know We stop trying as hard to connect to that which we desire to understand We become complacent Self righteous Our answers have given us the ammunition to create form Like foolish gods We've decided the very shape, look, feel, smell and texture of our muse. And when it doesn't behave We're confused. Please understand I do not condemn moments of clarity They have kept me sane and afforded me the space to mend my broken heart. I call them 'Mercy' And welcome them in like old friends. They are consistently irregular And all drink their tea the same. Bitter And sweet. Before they can bring out the whiskey I bid them safe travels and send them on their way. You see the problem with questions Is the reasons why we need the answers Demanding from a place of fear Self preservation We think that if we know another's intentions that we can slot them into the puzzle of our lives Like a missing piece Assigning roles until we feel complete. It's not that kind of game! Life Is Jenga! Love is good until it's not There is despair as we fall and determination as we rise again There are no right answers Only choices to keep connecting with one another To love and trust openly To build and create together something so organic and freethinking  That the chaos paints the walls  And the spirit keeps your insides warm. So as I fall into the arms of this welcome new moon. The only question I need to ask is this. What are my intentions? And the only answer I need is my truth. I honour me As I honour you. Blessed be! I Woke Up Like This

I woke up like this…. With the sun streaming through the gaps in my blinds I am blind. Not to the privelige that is me being able to kick off my bedspread because I am blessed with comfort But blinded By the immense gratitude swelling in my heart.

I woke up like this…. In a lucky country With a job to go to In an industry that celebrates fun and freedom ‘A bikini kinda life.’ My biggest challenge in my workday is trying not to buy all the pretty clothes in store and have to eat cereal for the rest of the week.

I woke up like this…. Not only do I have hot running water I also own a coffee machine A stove A toaster Electricity! On the money I save making my own coffee I was able to buy the 18 pack of free range eggs (I checked the ethical farmers list in my screenshots before deciding) Yes I had a choice! I have a voice.

I woke up like this…. I am a liberated woman, scantily clad and living by the sea My skin is dark because I want it to be. I have the luxury of surrounding myself with beautiful things Plants to water Puns on coffee cups Imported indian throws. I am not thrown For I am blessed with the headspace to practice mindfulness. I am supported as a non traditional female entity Beating her metaphoric drum and preaching gratefulness.

I woke up like this…. And I don’t need to whisper in case I jinx my fortune that my babe is eight years grown and his bones are strong. The layers between them and his perfect skin are so many That if perchance all we could afford were cereal for a week the only thing that would kill us both would be the whining. Why me? Why you? Why them and not us? I don’t know. It is ignorance not to empathise with the third world and it’s poverty And blasphemy not to dive deep into the bliss we wake up to and live it fiercely Grab hold of it with both hands And fear not the edges of our comfort zone At least we have a GODDAMN comfort zone!

I woke up like this…. As I write with my feet in the sand The shoreline getting closer and my only threat is a frisbee to my head I do not complain. My skin is salty and my belly is full The sky is clear and so is my path Because my path…. Could lead to anywhere. And this voice I have…. I refuse to lose it.

We woke up like this…. I beg you all to use it.

Speak To Me

Did you know that English is the third most spoken language in the world? Third! 360 million world citizens speak English, 405 million speak Spanish, 955 million people speak Mandarin. You know there are so many ways to express love and speak truths, To hurt or to heal, To articulate, Communicate, Connect.

I’ve often marveled at my bilingal peers. English is my first and only means of verbal communication, But even so, I can still claim that I know many languages. Let me show you…..

“Ya sook.” “What are you crying for?” “You can’t seriously be upset about that!” “She’s always been a sensitive child.” “What’s wrong with you now?” “You’re not sookin’ are you?” “Are you crying again?” “Don’t be cheeky.” Oh my personal favourite…. “Oh you’re just being silly.”

Any of these sound familair? What about…. “It didn’t even hurt.”

Well hey guess what? You don’t get to tell me how you made me feel! You don’t get to laugh off my pain and make me feel shitty. We are all mirrors of each other, And our opportunity to grow, To be the change, To drop our ego and our relentless need for self preservation, That opportunity is reflected in the tears of the ones we’re meant to love. Our partners, Our family, Our children.

Here’s another language I’ve learned And my intention for us all is that we hear it with our own ears and speak it to our lovers, friends and babes, heck to strangers! An equal exchange of mutual respect for another’s life. The universal language that simply says, “I see you. You matter. In fact, your matter is akin to mine and ours.” One single intention to raise our souls’ vibration. Love.

You know I can after many years of soul searching stand before you and openly say, “I am loveable. I am loved. I love myself. I am acting from a place of love and I love you! And you! You are loveable. You are loved. I see the traits you hold dear within yourself and I wish to love them with you.”

But all the ‘things’ that make us unique, That we cling to, Also keep us oceans apart. Let us cast our egos to the wayside, Remove the masks of all that is me and mine and oh so very important! All the tasks and boxes to tick that distract us from what is our true purpose, All the mind controlled ego based marketing propaganda that poisons our empathy for each other.

So, no. I am not bilingal or even well traveled. You can speak to me in 1000 different tongues and I will marvel at your skill! But when you come to me speaking the divine universal language of love… Then, my friend, You will have my full attention!
