Archived.

I love Akaashi. I really do. But things aren’t the same anymore for me as for now so I’m forcing myself to leave. I’ve met wonderful and cool people here because of him and I’d like to thank you for the memorable moments all of you have given me. It hurts to leave him but in my current condition, I doubt I’d do as great as I was before.  I’ll possibly return when the time comes. Forgive me for my wrongdoings and I wish everyone a wonderful weekend.

possible headcanons:

1. personality - wise, ezreal and akaashi are quiet and really reserved? ( that’s the vibe I’ve gotten from your portrayal !! ) like most characters; i personally don’t see ezreal opening up to akaashi – well, not fully, that is, and that he would probably have that casual and yet at the same time distancing relationship with akaashi. just a speculation – it may subject to change !!

2. flowers. not just through flower crowns, but their relationship is based from flowers: akaashi asking ezreal how to make a flower crown; ezreal agreeing and yet at the same time while doing so doesn’t not indulge into knowing akaashi better, which is a completely different characteristic as compared to my previous ezreal. he does not pry into people’s private life ( especially if they are not close at all per se. )

3. akaashi would most probably be the one initiating talks and conversations because hey let’s just say akaashi is more of a talker than ezreal. figured that most of which would end up being.. awkward, because most of the time ezreal would be just. straight - up replying to akaashi’s words without much room for continuation. of course, this is also just speculations based on their relationship at the moment and in the foreseeable future haha ;;

ezreal finds akaashi to be of ’ too soft , too gentle. ’ and this could apply? to this? in which akaashi tried to reach out and help ezreal out. most likely psychologically. and that when ezreal had accepted ( would he? we may never know ) akaashi and had shown him parts of his past self, he could have.. tried to make things better. tell him it is okay and people are there for him ( for him? ) and let’s just say that it did not go well. this most likely happens in an AU thread if their relationship is further deepened because at this stage it’s literally impossible for him to just open up to akaashi.

Slender fingers were a corset around her waist, taking hold of her lithe frame resting on him. They found themselves basking in each’s others ambiance, reciprocating warmth radiating from close bodies. His chin pressed against her crown when a small hum of content left thin lips, relishing the other’s company with clarity.

Aware of the other’s presence by his side, a side-eyed glance was given as fingertips brush themselves against the latter’s.

Very gently he lifted the warm and worn hand of the other, examining it for a moment. A soft smile spread across his face as he leaned forward to press his lips to the rough skin of the male's palm. His nose brushed against the skin and he could feel himself grinning wider. "Your hands are so nice, Keiji~"

He buried his face in Koushi’s neck, the warmth of his breath fluttering against his pale skin. Face wan and sleepy and the lids of his eyes drooped, the warm scent of the male’s skin and hair filled him. At the rumble of his voice, Keiji raised his eyes drowsily to his face, almost too exhausted to focus properly. The only thing he wanted right now was to stay cradled like a child in his arms. To be safe and warm, and to be loved.

the first one had been like growing FLOWERS. they were making flower crowns, he swore, and that he had wondered how he managed to plant daffodils and daisies and jasmine in his lungs. measurements were relative; souls are desperate for certainties that when he leaned forward to plant freckled violets upon cheek, he hoped it’d be all worth it.

the second time had been like coming HOME. this was dangerous, he knew.  more like playing with a raging fire than flirting with an innocuous flame.

one day he got too close, too careless and his eyes found his before he shifted in to chase him. if this was dangerous, god forbid that he didn’t care as his lips found him && in that instant —

he felt a contradictory peace settle over him.

the third time had been BLUE. blue paint stung at the edge of his fingertips, and how he hated it. it reminded him of the skies, his eyes, his hair, his smile, his lips, his laugh. his hands that were so gentle as they tore apart his lungs, the daffodils and daisies and jasmine and he guessed, when he finished stitching back him together, he thought that a couple of flowers couldn’t do much harm.

but his lungs had burst in an attempt to breathe,

Akaashi is highly observant, piecing together past experience and present situations to determine future outcomes.

Extremely decisive; he doesn’t flounder in uncertainty and maintains a high level of confidence in the decisions he makes.

Unafraid to speak his own opinions, and willingly jumps into conversation; he is neither a shy nor a passive character.

While he doesn’t disregard social convention altogether and is polite to a degree, he is quite blunt and outspoken, even when it trends on speaking poorly of a senior teammate.

It is also pointed out that Akaashi might not be using raw intelligence for the A/B/C case with Bokuto. There’s a possibility that he had gone through similar situations like that in the past ( enabling him to make really swift decisions ) and is using it to his advantage for present and future situations, as stated in point number one.

I’m going to add in extra info to point number four just to make it fit my characterization of Akaashi more. He remains polite and will keep it to himself around acquaintances but will no longer mince his words the moment they are comfortable enough around him ( alike his current r/s with Kuroo and Bokuto, where they don’t seem to take his spiteful comments and callouts personally ).

         Akaashi Keiji wasn’t engrossed in social medias thus had made no effort to create any accounts, claiming that they aren’t of his interest. Albeit one application did caught his attention a few years back, commonly known as VSCO.

        He was in the community long enough to reach 10k worth of adherents. One of the reasons being his works were constantly featured on the front page. The latter had taken photos of almost 700+ people on the streets every year and they were specially ones whom were willing to pose for the camera, majority requesting for their photos to be seen by their own eyes if they ever made it on the website whenever his shots turn out quite phenomenal. 

        Akaashi has accumulated over 4,872 photos on his VSCO grid and journal, a mixture of different kinds of pictures all together with a few stories of their own fitted in a short yet solid caption. Most of his viewers seem to be attracted to pictures containing the celestial body and cities, and the one not to be forgotten would be the appearance of his fellow senior, Yukie, along. Faces of friends and acquaintances would always been shown in the ‘Journal’ section, including his own teammates and He Tian.

        The teen had always felt as if people were too engaged in their activities to even notice the small little things in life that completes the formation of an aesthetic sight meant to be discern visually daily, and he did his job by showcasing to the world what ever had they were absent of. Every photo is treasured and kept properly so that none would be consigned to nihility.

Pillow forts are still a thing for Akaashi, he enjoys being buried head to toe in pillows and blankets and whatever soft things he can find.

He isn’t a neat freak, but if some things aren’t right then he’ll immediate have a meltdown. Socks matching, bed made and no clothes scattering on the floor.

Aside from rice balls and boiled rapeseed, Akaashi enjoys cake as much. He’d always make time to stop by the bakery once a week to buy some. ( And the amount of slices he buys every time is enough to scare the cashier )

Akaashi is secretly affectionate and warmhearted and believes that only some people deserves to witness that side of him.

                       Akaashi has a soft spot specially for animals no matter the kind but leans more toward cats, dogs and insects. It was a side he had never shown to anyone and wouldn’t have the pleasure of others finding out as well. The latter seemed to be normal around them ( exception for cats ) whenever he stands in a range full of acquaintances or friends. Wet canned food would always be in his school bag to be given out to any cats or dogs he sees on the street that seemed hungry on his way back home. His mother was often crossed to find him soaked persistently from the rain only because he left his umbrella to shelter abandoned puppies and kittens ( a simple reason he would never disclose ).

                        The setter seemed like a lone guy who wouldn’t harm any insects and would always be the one to bring them to a much proper and better place whenever his class transformed chaotic over their small ‘visit’. Akaashi refuses to do anything that might injure them or worst, kill them unless it had to be done and especially if they meant harm.

“I find no reason for people to be harsh over them. They’re merely small creatures                                         trying to navigate themselves in this big world.”

                         Marsh is a diluted calico that was taken in by Akaashi at the age of fourteen from an animal shelter not too far from his house when he started feeling lonely, a notion that the apartment turned too quiet whenever his parents are away on a business trip. The feline was properly taken care of and showered with a great deal of love. Marsh favors sleeping with the latter and would sometimes feel the need to become an alarm clock for him by booping his nose and mouth without stopping. It could always be seen around Akaashi, whether when he’s busy studying, eating, reading a book or even while playing video games, and that made him feel as if the love his cat gave for him are untainted and unconditional. Marsh serves as an ‘antidepressant‘ and a great stress reliever to the raven.

               Akaashi initially had a younger sister, Saki, whom passed away at the early age of six from an asthma attack when he was only eight years old. The latter blamed himself for the cause of her death when the wheezing started and he found himself unable to fetch her inhaler in time before she went completely limp. Saki was removed from machines and passed away, leaving him as the only child of the family. Due to his inability to overcome the fact that he had lost her, Akaashi continuously made false statements that his younger sister was still alive and eventually revealing the bitter truth five months after her funeral.

                   Saki’s death left a permanent scar on him and left all hopes he once had due to their close relationship, leaving everyone around with the impression that he was starting to feel indifferent towards everything.

                             “Hey, hey! Onii-chan~ Come on, let’s play volleyball together!” 

                  Akaashi Saki is known be the youngest in the family, a cheery, sweet and loving girl who brought abundance of joy to the family. She often spends time with Akaashi and would always drag him along to play volleyball ( a hobby of hers ) with her despite knowing well enough he had no interest in such sport. The younger hangs out and plays around in his room a lot, bothering him whenever he’s doing homework and such. Saki once told Akaashi that she wishes to join in the girl’s national volleyball championship and for him to join along on the boy’s as well, and that she wanted nothing else but to see the both of them becoming successful in anything that they do. 

                  She was the only reason the latter had decided to take interest and train hard in volleyball, hoping to lead Fukurodani towards victory in Nationals on his last year of high-school, aiming to make his one and only sibling, Saki, proud.

                                  “Champions keep playing until they get it right, nii-chan!”
