Okay so the pawn *shows the pawn* can only move going 1 square foward but in the first move of each one you can move 2 scuares
Only foward it can never go backwards.
This chess piece can only eliminate other pieces diagonally to it.
*puts the pawn in it's place and grabs a tower*
The towers only can go on straigth lines ,but not diagonally ,
They don't have a limit of squares to use while they are going straigth
They also eliminate other pieces the same way
*puts the tower in it's place and grabs a bishop*
The bishops can only move diagonally
One only in the brighter squares and the other in the dark ones
They eliminate pieces that are diagonally to them
*puts the bishop in it's place and grabs a horse*
Horses can only move and eliminate pieces in L
Meaning they have to move always one square foward and 2 squares to the side making an L form
They can go anyplace while they are going in L
*Shipper puts the horse back to it's place and grabs a queen*
Is the most powerful piece in the game
We only have one of this instead of two, not like the other chess pieces
The Queen is quite special
Queens can eliminate pieces like towers and bishops toguether
Meaning that they can move in any direction they want while they are going on a straigth line
*Puts the queen back and grabs a king*
The king is the most important piece of all
It can move in any direction but only one square
The king is the most important piece because when it is eliminated the game ends
So the goal of the game is to eliminate the king of your opponent
There are different strategies for that
That is the reason chess is an strategic game
You uses all the pieces you have to eliminate the king
