rabbits are lucky on account of all the clover like they eat so much clover that they're bound to be chowing down on some four-leafed ones and all of the luck from those few lucky clovers is heavy (good luck weighs more than bad luck or neutral luck does) so it slips down the body and gets stored in the rabbit's feet and that's how their feet are so strong and able to hop so far it's all the luck.
