despite me having these bizarre unfounded beliefs, I still have insight that they're bizarre and unfounded but idk if the doc will take me seriously if I tell him I know they're bizarre but they're still like distressing or he'll think I don't have insight and put me back on strong antipsychotics which I don't like. I'm in this weird like functionally delusional state
I'm like the worst psych patient ever because I'll never realize I should be open n honest abt my symptoms like I'm terrified of the dark because I'm convinced that's when some entity on another plane of existence is going to attack me and me only (and if I can't see in my room w/ a night light then there is no guarantee that won't happen) but like. you can't say that so I just say I'm afraid of the dark, or my eyesight is bad so I have bad night vision etc.
I'm like "I'm not convinced I'm bipolar" when I'm literally having textbook symptoms lol
