There's something poetic about Isagi ending this arc on such and high whilst Nagi ends it not where he started, no he falls lower; where Isagi started. Isagi finally gets a taste of everything he's ever wanted and Nagi truly understands what pushed Yoichi here in the first place

Okay I'm gonna talk about this? I'm talking about this.

I want to dive deeper in what I mentioned in my prev post, about Nagi's thought process in the latest chapter. Do y'all not see how what's happening here is a literal role reversal of the mental journey Reo was going through during second selection? Nagi left the partnership he and Reo shared to improve himself >> FOR Reo (in that he did it for the sole purpose of winning the world cup WITH Reo) and Reo had to improve on himself (this tbh can be up to interpretation as to WHAT he had to improve on cus tbh he was a pretty solid player already, he just needed to move on from his mental chains but again, up to interpretation). Now, especially with his goal supported by Chris, Nagi is the one being "left behind," and has to improve on himself. I think it's pretty clear the aspect Nagi needs to improve on is the fact that he has to find his motivation for playing football but I actually think the "thing" he needs to improve on is up to interpretation too. Idk, I don't usually take part in discussions but this is my two cents.

Like, considering the plot and especially his whole thing he had been exploring throughout the whole NEL arc, his thought process made sense to me and I actually appreciated the way his story is going
