A conclussion to Showtime

You know, I’ve been thinking. There’s just no way I’ll continue Showtime with Whooves, my focus is on other places now. I have already redesigned some of the characters of this blog as their own original stories I hope to make someday, and some of the plot beats might get recycled somewhere else. Yet I wonder...

Would anyone be interested, as a sort of send off to this blog, I made a kind of summary of the things I had planned? Not too detailed, but something to fully wrap things up.

So is this blog dead? Cause I was really hoping it wasn't

Well, the blog is unfortunately pretty dead, but I'm not! Just a year ago I finally began a new webcomic series called Catty's Diary, which you can check out over at ComicFury or Webtoons.

Spreading out

Alright so… I’ve been putting off making this post for a while now but I think I gotta make it before it’s too late. 

With Tumblr being the incredible piece of media that it is, I find myself in the need to start spreading to other platforms in case my content is no longer safe. I had a few posts flagged, and while nothing severe, it isn’t a risk I’m willing to take on a platform run by innefficient bots. I don’t think I’ll erase this blog, but I’m not sure if I’m going to be posting my art here anymore. At the end of this post I’ll leave links to other places you can find me.

Now I need to mention the elephant in the room for a sec: Showtime with Whooves. The blog is technically not dead, but I’ve been focusing so much on getting my thesis out of the way this whole year that I’ve barely taken the time to do anything with it, and I’m not sure who’d be willing to keep reading it anymore. And now with this whole tumblr issue? I could start anew, with the same comic in a different website, or maybe an original idea, but the askblog format really allowed me for some fun viewer/character interactions, as such I’m gonna have either find a place where I can stick to a similar format or reformat the whole thing. I can assure this: Whatever happens to Showtime next year, it’s probably gonna radically change it (specially since I wanted to tackle some mature concepts…)

So about those updates

Remember when I said I’d be coming back next week? Well, turns out my thesis was much more complicated than I gave it credit and required my full attention. I was kind of ashamed and didn’t admit before I couldn’t update, hoping I’d be able to give you guys an update soon enough, but alas I couldn’t.  Sorry for the unannounced hiatus

That being said, I should finally be feeling ready to update weekly once again, once I’m fully done with my thesis and all the work needed. I can’t give a specific date when updates will be coming back just yet, but rest assured I’ll announce it once I’m back.
