"I thought we had left this alone those past Sundays ago."
wat do you cherish the most
"I cherish my dearest brother Gilbert, of course."
Will your kin rot alone in this hotel unlike in his coffin which he should be in?
"My kin?" He questions, if it was another person they had asked, they would wonder; whoever could they be speaking of but it was all rhetorical. They were questioning Elliot's life were they not? How funny, they wanted the blond dead more than alive it seemed. "My kin, shall not rot in such a morbid place. Though death is fitting here, I do believe that someone who died in his own manor deserves a much more better place as his final sight."
"May his body struggle to continue on and if I must, I will hold onto his last string of life til the end." No, he was no God, but as he watched the other move around the Hotel and even speak words about getting Vincent out such a place, it was always the other way around. "Do you not understand, I gave him a chance for me to  dispose of his body and then he did not take it. To rot their in a place that will haunt him. Surely, I will not question next time and make sure that his place of death is much more fitting. But speaking of alone, I doubt he will rot with no one. With all the spirits here, he would have company, if it ever happened."
Ask the character/mun:Â Ask the muse whatever you want for them to answer IC; or ask the mun a personal question to get to know better or to get an OOC answer [although we would like to keep these at a minimum]!
Truth/Dare: Be reasonable with the dares! If you start getting ridiculous no one will want to do them; characters arenât really obligated to do all the dares they receive. Donât forget about the truth part as well!
Headcanon:Â Anons send the character a word, or a name and you may write a small/long headcanon about said word!
Drabbles:Â Give the muse a prompt and they may write a short drabble on it.
Gilbert instantly turned serious, of course Vincent is going to come up with some crap like that, he always did.
âVincent, just⌠Quit giving me bull like thatâ he started moving away from the front desk and stuffing the key in his pocket. He may need it later, and while he would because whatever he had planned wasnât going to work. âI donât know why youâre here but Iâm here to find Oz and get out, so if youâre not going to be serious with me and tell me what the hell is going on Iâm not talking to you anymoreâ Walking towards the front door he was already reaching for his cigarette case, his nerves defiantly on the highend. Trying the door again he sighed deeply when it wouldnât budge, that had to be a pretty good lock; he even gave it a good kick that would open most door, but nope it held firm, didnât even move an inch.
Glancing back at Vincent he scowled, mostly to himself and went back over âIt seems like youâve been here a while, tell me whatâs going onâ he wondered why the door had slammed shut behind him and was locked like a vault, why the guest book didnât have any leaving dates, how things that werenât there before suddenly showed up⌠It was like some kind of Nightmare and Gilbert really just wanted to wake up from it.
"Bull crap?" He mimicked, finding the whole word not even synonymous to what he had spoke. The blond's phrases were never a lie and even, why would he say such 'bull' to his dearest sibling? The thought was horrendous and from the fact that Gilbert even thought that way made Vincent shake his head. What a funny thing to trifle with! But as he was ready to speak, had the raven said his own cruel speech. That he was only here in the hotel to find the Vessalius boy and leave. If it was spoken towards any other family, how much offense would they be in? As if denying blood. Did he not care what happened to him? Oh no, he did. He had to. For the bond they shared was eternal.
"You won't talk to me anymore? Why brother, why would you do such a thing? Knowing that you're probably all that I have left and yet you would use this to get at me?" Gilbert could be harsh at times, but the younger knew not to take full meaning to what he spoke. That would be impossible for the other to just stop. "I'm being serious with you brother. We are inseparable, if you had despised me that much. You would have left me a long time ago." Most likely his words were ignored as the other left to the door, hitting against it in an attempt to set himself free from the place. But yes, it all ended in failure. Heterochrome eyes noticed the scowl, something that he did not like on his elder's face. How sad.
âIt seems like youâve been here a while, tell me whatâs going onâ
A pause, it was something he didn't want to speak upon and yet, he still would not. "Nothing is going on. It's a regular inn, why don't you believe me?" Of course the other would find this a farce, as Alice believed, Vincent always appeared where trouble was located. Raising a hand and placing it on the other's shoulder, "All you need to know is that, you'll be leaving real soon. Even if this may be the last time I ever see you." The smile on his face never leaving and he removed his grip from the other's body.
Gilbert paused when he heard foot steps, as he had learned there were other people here, after all some of the names in the guest book had been quite recent. Slowly he made his way back towards the front desk, his hand reaching for his gun just in case they werenât to friendly, after all you could never be sure who was walking around when it came to a place like this; half of him was expecting heâd run into a Baskerville.
Turning the corner he paused when he was met with a familiar pair of red and golden eyes. âVincent?â he was shocked, what was Vincent doing here?
âVincent, what are you doing here?!â he sputtered, forgetting to have checked the guest book for any other familiar names. Honestly the first person he happens to run into, and itâs his little brother. Actually⌠Scurrying back over to the front desk the first thing he noticed was a key tossed, and one left with E4 on it⌠Was that supposed to be his key? Picking it up he started to flip through the book again looking for familiar names
Vincent Oz Alice Elliot Leo ADA EVEN
âWhatâs going on here?!â
How unsettling.
Deep inside, Vincent could only feel broken at most. Why was Gilbert here? Why was he even.. in a perimeter of the Head Hunter? Truly he knew this day would come but it felt so soon, too soon. As much as he tried to bring his brother happiness, having him here was something he didn't want. Give or take in another place maybe, but seeing him in this hotel was rather, inappropriate. He knew almost everything about the place, the fact no one could leave it. The fact that monsters scurried through the darkness, so many harmful things and Gil was in the midst of it all.
A pause. That confused face, the male looking through the book and even exclaiming. What was going on? Why was he here? Why would he too have to suffer from all the pain in this sicking place? It brought him back to a phrase that Elliot said himself, when he promised getting Vincent out. It was a funny thought though, how he retorted that Elliot shouldn't even try and get him out. To think of himself and maybe he would live longer.
But now, if Vincent could speak the words. Elliot's own would leave his mouth as well. Neglecting to speak anymore of the negativity of the area.
"Why would I not be here brother? We're united as one by blood. Wherever you are, I am there as well."
Opening
So, this is where his search had brought him. Taking a puff of his cigarette he sighed, having already tired to open the door when it shut behind him. He was also trying not to get creeped out by the place, because while it was dark it did kind of remind him of the Nightray mansion, or he was trying to make some kind of connection because the idea of Oz and Alice being in here freaked him out more then the actual place did.
Tossing the butt to the floor he stepped on it to put out the flame, glancing around and hoping no one saw that⌠Although he did feel kind of bad and picked the butt up, shoving it in his pocket for until he could find a garbage can later.
Although one question still remained⌠Why would they be in a place like this? Groaning under his breath he rubbed at his hair line, letting his messy black hair land where ever it wanted to, after all it never stayed in place when he wanted it to. Walking up to the front desk he found the guest book, flipping through it to try and figure out if Oz was actually in here, managing to find their names he relaxed alittle and contuined to flip though to the end, only to find that he had apparently checked in as well
âWhat?â Gilbert asked himself a confused look on his face. Moving away from the guest book he glanced around the room âHello? Is there anyone here?â the black haired male called out, deciding to walk around and see if if he could anyone else in the strange hotel, and well, maybe find Oz and even Alice too.
Such a timely event things would have to be, being re-roomed was enough to bore anyone to death. It seems that staying in one area would never happen since problems always occured in many of them. His first room was filled with annoyance and as for his second, people wanted to get in on the jist of it as well. But finally in the end, he gave a nod to the note the manager sent him to remove himself to A1, was it? Not even remembering the number, he was told in the leave his recent key at the desk and remove all his personal items. Along with the curtains he had torn within that stay.
With nothing but a sigh once he gave a close of the door behind him, the blonde had initiated his way down the hall towards what was deemed, 'the elevator'. It didn't take him long to learn to acquaint himself with it, rather it only took a few tries. The up and down button and maybe a few number keys was something he had to learn. On his first day here had he fell asleep right within it.
After moment's notice had the male came within the end of his trip and with a ding; had the doors opened. Casually Vincent left out of his stand still and nonchalantly threw the keys onto the desk like so. With a turn of a head had he noticed the man who usually stayed in the current room wasn't in his seat and also that the book on the Lobby's desk had been toyed with. Was someone looking for another person or had the Hotel tried to play it's tricks and mind games with him again?
Thinking of getting his key later, had he wondered what unfortunate soul had probably wandered with the reach of the hotel? And if so, did they not know what misfortune they had pulled themselves in? He could almost laugh at their despair but he had to see the face of the person who would soon come to end with this building. Taking a step, one after the other and moments later hearing another set of footsteps of their own had he come face to back with someone who wore garments different from anyone else here. Moreso it was familiar but then again, it was probably someone who wanted to play dress up.
"You shouldn't wander the halls aimlessly, unless you know where you're going."
hello vincent tabletray
Convenient re encounter? {Closed}
A forever in this place didnât actually sound so tragic to the youngest sibling, if anything it was more of the price to pay for everything he did in his past life, and like that he was going to accept it, just the way he accepted death. So being dragged to this hell was nothing more but the continue of the consequence of each one of his past actions and he had no right to complain over it, or at least he believed so. âIt doesnât sound so bad.â It really didnât, but this was tormenting him enough to be just his arrival, why was Vincent here too? He had done nothing wrong and this was extremely surprising and not to mention that scared Elliot a little, as he wished he could get at least his older brother out of this place.
âIf I find⌠a wayâŚâ the noble muttered under his breathe, âif I find a way to get you out of here Vincent, I swear I will.â No matter what it takes him, no matter if he has to die again, he is going to find a way to get his brother out of this place.
As much as Elliot tried to erase everything that happened back in Yuraâs mansion it was pointless, gone the Chain the memory was restored and all of those things he ignored for so long time were now part of his present, a painful present. Having to see Vincent again, the last person he saw back then, the one who offered to take away his life, the one who thanked him for helping Gilbert to never forget how to smile, his brother, Vincent again.Â
The wound in his chest caused by the seal, the wounds in his head felt like being torn apart ripping his flesh to let the blood take over his body yet again. It was so very extremely painful to have to face his brother again. And even worse was the pain his words were inflicting to him. The things that he was throwing about their father.
âWhy would you say something like that of my father?!â WHY? âVINCENT YOU KNOW HE ENTRUSTED ME THE HONOUR OF THE NIGHTRAY DUKEDOM, WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT?â Their father, who gave him the sword, sword that he would protect his life with to restore the honour of the manor and the family, that one promise he was given after Gilbert contracted Raven like a true Nightray heir. His father believed in Elliot didnât he? âVincent⌠MY FATHER BELIEVED IN ME, DONâT SAY SUCH THINGS ABOUT HIM!â
âHe did offer you a place to live didnât he? Vincent?â Why would he feel this way, if it was true his siblings always made them feel terrible about being adopted, his father treated them all equally, just like that Gilbert became the contractor of the household instead of Ernest of Claude⌠or even Vanessa, Elliot even. âYouâre a Nightray too, donât you forget that.â Be it by blood or simple share of the surname, to Elliot, Vincent was a true Nightray, so was Gilbert. They both were important to him.
However the young boy didnât pay much attention to the mannerism in Vincentâs talking as he brought Leo in conversation. âSpeak to Leo? How am I suppose to find him to begin with? Iâm trapped in this place. Where I will never see him again.â He felt gratitude nonetheless, for he passed the message to his servant. What was left is to hope Leo took those words and forgave him. âThank you, VincentâŚâ
Such a place could not amount to what they had back then, yes the blood being spilled and the lies that had to share to move forth was nothing good but better than here. It felt like a place where a person would hide away from the struggles they had been through, the problems that even they couldn't fix. What would a life be if they lived a lie by taking this place as comfort, it wasn't something he was intending on doing. "If you want to travel the easy roads of life, it doesn't." He stated, not finding anything about this area which didn't sound do bad. To many, it bothered them and quite frank, it slightly bothered him because beyond those doors, they could never see the things again they wished they could. They could only feel the negative temptation of what vibrated off the walls and passed through many others of who lived inside it's being. But he could not complain, this could be judgement for all he knew. An answer that he needed for the sake of another but yet, he could not create that thought into his mind completely for the fact Elliot was right before him. And even that, Gilbert could wander right into the hands of this place as well. But for now..
"Me?" He posed as a question while raising a hand to his chest, a slight chuckle coming from him. "Always thinking of other's I see. For once. You could think of your own being, you'll live longer and may see the light beyond these doors." It seemed like advice he was giving him, but it was much more the truth. This time, since Elliot was able to live a life that he could plan out for himself with one step after another, he too could smile. But what if the what force brought them here was the only force that kept the younger Nightray here? That would be troublesome.
It was understandable that since Vincent was 'family' that Elliot would want to help him before himself. If only he had known some of the things that Gilbert had known, would the male want to do the things he just said? In helping someone who had did things again the Nightray Dukedom, it was even worse by helping a person dubbed as the 'Headhunter'. But Elliot knew nothing of that, and probably never will.
When he had believed the calm had reverted in the tones of voices, he was certainly wrong. A fit hand came abrupt within the Nightray making him lash out to protect the name of another, how pointless. That man, the person he kept putting out as his Father. "Do you believe because he entrusted you with just a title, I shouldn't speak the truth behind his own deceit and lies? Such a title did not save you from death in which he inflicted."
Why should it matter if he gave those things to Elliot, he gave him so much and then took away his life as if it was nothing for his own selfish need. It was sickening and Vincent hated him for that, but he could not that show as of right now. He could only speak his mind, his opinions right before that bastard's own child. "Clearly you are saying because of his praise that he gave you that I can't say what I believe? Because of you, I should be positive of him? Because of all the things he gave you? Elliot, it does not work that way." Once that man was able to take something away from him, things had changed. Everything had morphed into an unfathomable hate.
âHe did offer you a place to live didnât he? Vincent?â
"Does it hurt that I'm not grateful? Why should I be?" There was a reason behind everything, and this meany there was a reason behind why he took them in. Who would just pick up two strays out in the world just like that? From such a very famous Dukedom, did Elliot ever think about it? A man such as that held no obvious heart, it was only filled with Greed. How childish it would be for something like this hate to bother the heir, did he hate hearing Vincent speak like this? But yet, he couldn't tell him why the man took them in because of the information he was able to gain.
"It seemed his Greed brought him to his end." Taking in the two young children from way back because of what he could gain as knowledge: learning the contract that Raven had with Gilbert and the what words he could hear from Vincent. Even by showing how special a certain chain was had made his child become deceased. The older blonde's eyesight had went astray from Elliot to something else, "And one day, I won't hold the Nightray name any longer." If things went right with Master Leo, there would be no more suffering. So did anything of the Nightray name matter anymore? "Now would be a time to stop saying that, brother. No, Elliot."
"You are here, are you not. I had thought that the next time I would see you is when I passed away but.." He paused, thinking that the other had caught his drift on what he meant. Master Leo would accept the apology, would he not? Or more so believe that the other had nothing to apologize about. Maybe it would spin off like that. Hm. "Thanking me resolves nothing."
CAN I STIcK MY TRIDEnt IN YOU? ;D
"..........."
He's not feeling that Anon.
POOR YOU. YOUR LAHV LEFT AWWW
"My 'lahv', whatever could you mean?"
Did you know that Gil left the hotel??
--Ah.
Was that true? Did Gilbert find a way to leave the hotel in his absence, ah yes. That must have been it for who would want to be locked way behind doors of some forsaken place, that even a night was never restless. Was he suppose to feel emotions? Was this faceless being looking for maybe a tear? A whimper? It was a shame for Vincent could not allow such a thing and would never.
"Is that so." A slight chuckle before he continued, "I hold no negative thoughts on his actions, as long as Older Brother is happy wherever he is then I am content."
to the mun: whats your favorite thing about your character? Like a specific trait, something that makes you go KFLAKWIEHFIWALEUFHLWEFHLAJHAWIHLWAKJHLJ?
OH GOD ANON. LET'S SEE. VINCENT NIGHTRAY MAKES ME GO SNIP SNIP. THE FACT THAT HE'S SO CHILDISH BUT YET, THAT YANDERE SIDE OF HIM DRIVES ME WILD. It has to be that killer side of him, the way he uses those scissors against those curtains. God, he is just practically insane and even wanting to erase his own existence.
That's a plus plus in my book.
I'm scream.

This isn't the right place... [Intro/Open]
âI see~ Then is there anyone around who could be of service?~â Zange replied, his smile not wavering as he examined the other. With one eye closed and the other hidden behind some bandages, one had to wonder if he could really see at all. Thatâs where his sight came in to the picture. He could also tell that the other wanted to play a game, something that Zange wouldnât mind partaking in for his amusement.
He looked the boy up and down, noting that he was of nobility. Sure his clothing didnât match that of the nobility back home, but Zange had travelled enough in his lifetime to recognise nobility in other countries. Even the others manner of speech, posture and the air he had about him gave it away in an instant.
âI was wondering if you could show me around this place, or at least direct me to where I could possibly stay? Surely there are rooms in this place, right?â The sooner Zange could get settled, the sooner he could use his sight to figure out what this place actually was. The dark aura it was giving off made him uneasy, but he used his smiles to cover it. He was never one to show his emotions, and he wasnât going to start now.
"Ah, yes." Vincent mused as he took a step towards the other, his grin unwavering as he chuckled at him. He was a rather weird newcomer and even though it was rude to judge, the blonde couldn't help but have his times where he came with his own conclusions onto people. Did people dress like that back home, a slight maybe? Even the hair color was somewhat familiar, as much as he had seen Barma's hair, he could find the resemblance of hue between the two.
The Noble stared at the other, that was quite something the personality he had on him. Not many people could keep a cheerful domain such as that when being placed in an area like this, funny even. "Well, I doubt no one else will come to your aid so I believe, I'll help." Giving a bow before extending his hand to the other, acting as if he was of pure innocence wanting to help. He awaited the other to reject or take it, "My mind seems to be slipping." Taking his own hand back, had he turned to the counter.
"Did you gain your key to your room, usually the first key you see. Is yours." His voice calm while keeping a proper aura about him. The male took a walk over to the desk, heterochrome eyes taking a look at the bell that has been untouched for awhile. "But there are many rooms but only one is yours. This wouldn't be an inn if they didn't have any."
you look like you take good care of your appearance how long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
"It takes me three hours and forty-five minutes to get myself dressed and prepped. Now fixing my face is another whole twenty minutes, mind you." But this is only when he's NOT being bothered by anyone. "My hair is about.. thirty minutes, if I believe."
The meat part sounds good though.
Ah yes, let me cook you up and get rid of you.
