Yeehaw/Ch 1/ Open

Jed is...not happy with the situation. No matter what this situation is. it certainly isn’t good. That isn’t going to stop him from looking on the bright side though!! He has a bed, a place to eat and clean up, and all of his personal things. He decides to look around, wandering the halls for a bit before stopping be the storage room. Maybe there’s something useful in there? He peaks in, and then decides to rummage around for a bit. He stops when he hears footsteps. “Hello? Anyone there?”

Yo Dude! [Prologue]- OPEN

Honestly this has only happened a few times before. Waking up in a new place and not having any memory of how he got here was a normal party situation. Nothing to worry about. Though Lucas’s mouth didnt taste salty and nothing was in pain. So obviously this wasnt some fuckboy frat party he attended and got a little to out of control.

He slumped out of bed, messed around with his curly hair until it felt normal and rubbed his eyes before going out of the strange room and exploring.

Everything seemed just about normal. Though the lack of others was a bit concerning. Lucas walked down the hallway more and turned a corner to see someone with the same confused look as he does.

“Hey dude! Uh, do you know whats going on here? Was there some sort of party?”

‘Dude’? Must be one of them City Slicker types. Jed doesn’t have any problem with them except….what in tarnation they’re saying sometimes. Listen he’s not a hypocrite, he knows his accent is….Country. But he’s surrounded by Country normally. So….City Accents are weird to him. “Oh, uh, Howdy!….dude? I don’t reckon we had any parties round here, no. Seems we all jus woke up in some weird beds. Don’t really understand what’s happenin’ right this minute, but I’m sure we’ll’ve figured it out soon enough!” He gives a reassuring, Country Smile.

As soon as Jed opened his mouth and talked it was hard for Lucas to keep his mouth shut incase he said anything inappropriate to scare the poor cowboy off.

But holy shit, Lucas feels like melting under that thick accent.

“h-huh… weird.” oh god hes sweaty. its hard to make eye contact. “Do you remember anything before this? Like anything at all? Because i feel like i was drugged…”

Jed scratches his chin in thought. “Hm, I reckon I don’t recall bein’ drugged. More I just felt sick walkin’ up to the school. Then…well it all jus’ went black. That’s when I woke up here. I’m wonderin how much time’s passed. I can’t see any sunlight anywhere….or windows now that I think about it. Weird. How about you…..Aw shucks how rude a’ me! I didn’t even ask fer yer name! Mine’s Jedidiah San Luis, but you can call me Jed fer short.” He holds out his hand for Lucas to shake, a smile on his face.

Lucas shakes his hand and smiles back at him. “Nice to meet you Jed, Im Lucas Flores! But you can call me Lucas haha!!” oh man hes hoping his his hands arent sweaty right now. thatd be so awkward.

His thoughts were racing until he realized they were holding hands for far to long and he visibly jolted his hand away and a blush spread across his face. “oh s-sorry!” he cussed himself out in his head and basically smiled at Jed to pretend nothing happened.

“Damn though. That sucks major dick that theres no windows or a way out of here. Like honestly i was hoping youd know something.” he frowned. “I cant even skate well in here..”

Jed laughs.  “Well o’course not. It’s carpeted halls pardner. Yer not gonna get much traction y’know. Not sure if it’d be a good idea if ya could anyways. I saw another fella walk through here who looked mean as all hell stompin’ through the halls. I doubt you’d wanna skate into him. Or even walk near him, aha.” Small talk, nice.

Lucas laughs knowing the exact guy Jed is talking about. Because like well yeah hes hot, but Lucas doesnt feel like getting beat up right now.

“Haha yeah damn youre so right. Id rather not eat shit infront of anyone right now.” he laughed again.

“So you seem like a cowboy. You like ride bulls and all that?”

Jed gives a smile. He gets to talk about what he does, nice! “I sure do! I do bull ridin’, horse riding, animal wranglin’, and I also have a few horses and animals we breed for livestock and raisin’. Most days I just tend to animals. We got a bit o’land, but I let some local farmers use it as long as I get a bit of the crop. Help em out out there sometimes too.”

“Damn holy shit! That seems so fucking cool. I just live in a big city. Like the closet thing to a farm animal we have are pigeons and rats!” he laughs loudly and rund a hand through his curly hair.

“dude id love to try and ride a bull or something. I have pretty good balance because i skate so much. I bet it couldnt be that hard….”

They can hurt ya real bad, and send a grown man flyin’ into the air faster than you can say ‘hold on’. I know a few fellas who broke bones fallin off, or got stabbed by the horns. Bulls are mighty fierce.”

Being in a much comfier bed than Bea is used to, she still slowly wakes up. Opening her eyes, she notices the walls arent covered in her usual string lights and posters of famous people everywhere, instead it’s just.. white walls. This gets her awake quickly, getting out of bed.

She touches her face and, for some reason slept with makeup on…? Oh, god it must have smeared. And is in her day clothes? What is going on? She decides to try and find a bathroom, and leaves her room.

Going down the hall, she sees a lot of people, so she looks down and quickly walks, not wanting anyone to see how smeared her makeup must be. As she enters the bathroom and sees a mirror, she runs over. Oh? Her makeup is surprisingly still in tact. Sighing in relief, she turns to leave, except she runs into someone. Whoops.

“Oh, dear, I’m so sorry, I wasn’t looking at where I was going”

Jed isn’t too phased by the bump, since this girl is kinda short and not all that strong from the looks of it. Cute though! He likes her makeup. Wait Jed say words. He gives her a sheepish smile. “Aha, don’t worry bout it! Happens to the best of us. Are ya alright though? I’d’ve hate to have hurt ya just by standin’ here.”

Bea looks at who she ran into for a second, taking him in. Ah. A real cowboy? He has an attractive face, but.. who dresses like that? At least he’s being nice, Bea!

“I’m okay, and I’m glad you are too,” she pauses for a second, moving back a bit so they aren’t right up against each other “Who are you?”

“My name is Bea Maricut! It’s nice to meet you, Jed, even.. under these circumstances” She smiles politely back at him.

Prologue / Morning Glories

Veir is use to sunlight peeking through his window warming him up, but that feeling never hits him. He sits up in bed, groggy from just waking up, or maybe it’s the sickening feeling still in his system. Oh right. That happened. Passing out happened.

Looking around the room leads to the sudden realization Veir isn’t where he expected to be. This isn’t home nor is it the college dorm he was prepared to move into. He gets out of bed hastily to search for help. There was obviously a mix up. This isn’t the University. This isn’t anywhere he wants to be.

Veir worriedly heads into the hall, blindly bumping into something (or someone) as he’s looking around distracted by his thoughts. Holding his face where he smacked it, Veir mumbles, “This is all poppy cock, running amok like some blind hooligan.”

[20 m] looking for listerine?

Filtering the view of a horizontal world between lashes, Eris felt the familiar calmness of beauty sleep wash over his skin, hydrated and tender. He rolled his shoulders back slowly and brought his long, nimble fingers to pat against the delicate skin of his eyes, slightly upset his Dior under eye cream was clearly missing, the thought of undereye circles making him sigh in frustration, his chest holding the position before forcing the air out. Which was… unpleasant. He made his own face at his own feeling of thick sleep caked on his tongue.

He felt disgusted and violated, slender legs sliding over the edge of his bed and shaking silky blonde curls before slipping into his cashmere sweater that had rolled off in his sleep. Now, he was just getting beyond upset. He would NEVER fall asleep in gucci outerwear, he had dolce for that. His small feet rolled against the ground and he was quick to leave the room. He seemed unaware of flush of his own skin, seemingly on his own righteous mission. He needed to brush and gargle. Now.

He left the dorm room ajar and slid into the hall, his light brows pressed down into thought: but not enough to cause wrinkles, still curious as to what moisturizer he DID have on. He took calculated steps, his posture straight and proud as he searched for a bathroom. He hated the idea of in dorm living, however, if he was forced to do any kind of community living, he’d much rather be at the most prestigious school in the world than anywhere else. It was unfortunate they skipped on private bathrooms, thinking of how he’d have to wear his robes too and from. He would file a complaint later.

Nudging the door open, he took a long look at himself in the mirror and sighed: eyes irritated from falling asleep in contacts, cheeks flushed from sleeping so heavily… he gave a toothy smile to reveal straight and aligned teeth. First, clean mouth: then he would deal with everything else. He began to rummage.

In an attempt to find an exit, Jed manages to find the bathroom. On the bright side, it means no one will have to pee in a jar or something horrible like that. On the downside, still not an exit. Also, there’s someone in here. Putting on his best Cowboy Charm, he says hello. “Oh! Howdy! Baby pink eyes shifted from opening cabinets to the shape of… shame. His eyes took in the stature of the new noise source, lashes fluttering as if he was processing the question. He pulled back, a disposable toothbrush and one of those mini toothpaste tubes tucked in his hand. He rolled his shoulder back, lips pressed into a thin like as he formulated his thoughts. It was difficult though.

“The only thing happening is the absolute horror you’re putting yourself through. Modern day tragedy.” He brought a hand to his mouth, afraid of the puppy breath. Yuck. “Are you wearing a ten gallon hat?” He tried to ignore it, but it was pretty awful. He shook his head.

“All that I know is that I was violated. Invalidated.”

Eris quickly wet bristles of his brush and shoved the hygienic device around in his mouth without concern for the presence of Jed. Not that he even knew that was his name. In fact, he was certain he didn’t really care about it. He moved his wrist in smooth circular motions and held the built up foam in his cheeks before spitting hard and quick into the sink, turning the faucet back on only to wash the toothpaste down the drain. A conservative sister.  “They forced me to sleep without my eyecream, my skin is already stress breaking out, and I can’t find any mouthwash. I get it, most people aren’t going to have Jásön’s cinnamon clove, but not even listerine’s total care? A little bit of crest?” he pushed his curls away from his face as he pat his skin- which to be honest, at worst, looked flushed. “I was going to grab boba with a friend before moving into my dorm. Do you know how bad this will make me look? Like a dirty flake?”

Eris continues to tap his skin with delicacy, watching his own reflection before trying to bring his face back to a neutral resting position. He holds onto a long inhale before decompressing his chest flat. He side eyes the other boy. He kept a steady gaze, meeting his face with direct eye contact.

“The base foundation of responsibility is time management. Tardiness is laziness and if you want anything? That’s on you to prosper..” He turned to lean against the skin of the bathroom, smoothing wrinkles he found in his outwear. 900 dollar waste… it was weird to think he was just talking about a boba date.

“I’m assuming by your mindless questions, you wouldn’t have a single insight to the rather vague-yet-specific scenario? Eris’ gaze continued to bore into Jed before blinking slowly, processing the information once again. Analyzing the situation. Though the man looked like he had never seen even something like Old Navy, and that thought scared him, he was at least providing some insight. Eris’ own brain seemed to be slightly more open to assessing things now he at least had a remotely clean mouth.

“Hm.” He considered searching himself but also found it bizarre and rather childish. He thought more of upcoming projects and runways he had planned. Dates… he wondered where his planner had gone. He was booked months out and now a feeling of unease began to creep. Though the idea of being genuinely vulnerable… no thanks.

Jed nods. “Seems likely. Easier to watch our reactions if they’re one of us. That, or they got cameras all around...Well, hopefully not in here I suppose. Filtering the view of a horizontal world between lashes, Eris felt the familiar calmness of beauty sleep wash over his skin, hydrated and tender. He rolled his shoulders back slowly and brought his long, nimble fingers to pat against the delicate skin of his eyes, slightly upset his Dior under eye cream was clearly missing, the thought of undereye circles making him sigh in frustration, his chest holding the position before forcing the air out. Which was… unpleasant. He made his own face at his own feeling of thick sleep caked on his tongue.

He felt disgusted and violated, slender legs sliding over the edge of his bed and shaking silky blonde curls before slipping into his cashmere sweater that had rolled off in his sleep. Now, he was just getting beyond upset. He would NEVER fall asleep in gucci outerwear, he had dolce for that. His small feet rolled against the ground and he was quick to leave the room. He seemed unaware of flush of his own skin, seemingly on his own righteous mission. He needed to brush and gargle. Now.

He left the dorm room ajar and slid into the hall, his light brows pressed down into thought: but not enough to cause wrinkles, still curious as to what moisturizer he DID have on. He took calculated steps, his posture straight and proud as he searched for a bathroom. He hated the idea of in dorm living, however, if he was forced to do any kind of community living, he’d much rather be at the most prestigious school in the world than anywhere else. It was unfortunate they skipped on private bathrooms, thinking of how he’d have to wear his robes too and from. He would file a complaint later.

Nudging the door open, he took a long look at himself in the mirror and sighed: eyes irritated from falling asleep in contacts, cheeks flushed from sleeping so heavily… he gave a toothy smile to reveal straight and aligned teeth. First, clean mouth: then he would deal with everything else. He began to rummage.

In an attempt to find an exit, Jed manages to find the bathroom. On the bright side, it means no one will have to pee in a jar or something horrible like that. On the downside, still not an exit. Prologue / Morning Glories

Veir is use to sunlight peeking through his window warming him up, but that feeling never hits him. He sits up in bed, groggy from just waking up, or maybe it’s the sickening feeling still in his system. Oh right. That happened. Passing out happened.

Looking around the room leads to the sudden realization Veir isn’t where he expected to be. This isn’t home nor is it the college dorm he was prepared to move into. He gets out of bed hastily to search for help. There was obviously a mix up. This isn’t the University. This isn’t anywhere he wants to be.

Veir worriedly heads into the hall, blindly bumping into something (or someone) as he’s looking around distracted by his thoughts. Holding his face where he smacked it, Veir mumbles, “This is all poppy cock, running amok like some blind hooligan.”

She touches her face and, for some reason slept with makeup on…? Oh, god it must have smeared. And is in her day clothes? What is going on? She decides to try and find a bathroom, and leaves her room.

Going down the hall, she sees a lot of people, so she looks down and quickly walks, not wanting anyone to see how smeared her makeup must be. As she enters the bathroom and sees a mirror, she runs over. Oh? Her makeup is surprisingly still in tact. Sighing in relief, she turns to leave, except she runs into someone. Whoops.

“Oh, dear, I’m so sorry, I wasn’t looking at where I was going”

Oh, god. His accent isn’t bad per se, it’s. Not bad to listen to, actually, but the added attire and how he seems like he’s either a legitimate cowboy or he is just a huge cowboy fan is… interesting.

Yo Dude! [Prologue]- OPEN

Honestly this has only happened a few times before. Waking up in a new place and not having any memory of how he got here was a normal party situation. Nothing to worry about. Though Lucas’s mouth didnt taste salty and nothing was in pain. So obviously this wasnt some fuckboy frat party he attended and got a little to out of control.

He slumped out of bed, messed around with his curly hair until it felt normal and rubbed his eyes before going out of the strange room and exploring.

Everything seemed just about normal. Though the lack of others was a bit concerning. Lucas walked down the hallway more and turned a corner to see someone with the same confused look as he does.

“Hey dude! Uh, do you know whats going on here? Was there some sort of party?”

‘Dude’? Must be one of them City Slicker types. Jed doesn’t have any problem with them except….what in tarnation they’re saying sometimes. Listen he’s not a hypocrite, he knows his accent is….Country. But he’s surrounded by Country normally. So….City Accents are weird to him. “Oh, uh, Howdy!….dude? I don’t reckon we had any parties round here, no. Seems we all jus woke up in some weird beds. Don’t really understand what’s happenin’ right this minute, but I’m sure we’ll’ve figured it out soon enough!” He gives a reassuring, Country Smile.

As soon as Jed opened his mouth and talked it was hard for Lucas to keep his mouth shut incase he said anything inappropriate to scare the poor cowboy off.

But holy shit, Lucas feels like melting under that thick accent.

“h-huh… weird.” oh god hes sweaty. its hard to make eye contact. “Do you remember anything before this? Like anything at all? Because i feel like i was drugged…”

Jed scratches his chin in thought. “Hm, I reckon I don’t recall bein’ drugged. More I just felt sick walkin’ up to the school. Then…well it all jus’ went black. That’s when I woke up here. I’m wonderin how much time’s passed. I can’t see any sunlight anywhere….or windows now that I think about it. Weird. How about you…..Aw shucks how rude a’ me! I didn’t even ask fer yer name! Mine’s Jedidiah San Luis, but you can call me Jed fer short.” He holds out his hand for Lucas to shake, a smile on his face.

Lucas shakes his hand and smiles back at him. “Nice to meet you Jed, Im Lucas Flores! But you can call me Lucas haha!!” oh man hes hoping his his hands arent sweaty right now. thatd be so awkward.

His thoughts were racing until he realized they were holding hands for far to long and he visibly jolted his hand away and a blush spread across his face. “oh s-sorry!” he cussed himself out in his head and basically smiled at Jed to pretend nothing happened.

“Damn though. That sucks major dick that theres no windows or a way out of here. Like honestly i was hoping youd know something.” he frowned. “I cant even skate well in here..”
