The doors open. What was once just a black room slowly began to gleam with light as a pair of double doors creaked apart to reveal Candyās shadowed face. Her eyes gazed around what felt like an empty gym, unable to see anything past the doorās light.
It was quiet. Too quiet. Blinking, finally she took a step inside, moving forward a couple more feet to the lightās edge before suddenly, the doors slam shut behind her. The loud bang threw the gamerās attention back to the door with a start, eyes narrowing a bit as Candy forced her body to relax again. Itās alright, itās alright. She was good at this, right? Yeah. If it was what she thought it was. Turning back around, a tight frown pulled over her lips as she continued forward, gaze darting around in the darkness, listening. Just waitinā
-!
Suddenly, a small spotlight shined down upon a figure in the middle of the room. It hadnāt been facing candy at first, but that didnāt seem to matter. A tiny red ā!ā suddenly popped up over the figures head before it turned around, revealing a small monobear wearing a red hat, sunglasses and jacket, marching over to Candy without a word. He only went up to about her knees, but that just made it weirder for some reason. He looked up, red eye glowing from beneath the bill of his cap.
āUpupupupuā¦!ā
And then- it was dark. A world engulfed by pure blackness, until finally, a light bright enough to show what was within itās circle flashed op, revealed the shaded form of a giant, angelic-looking monobear on the other side of the room - accustomed with three sets of wings that didnāt touch his back and winged ears that that doubled on each side.
Monobear wants to battle!
Shitā here we go! Ready to go, a sudden grin flashed across Candyās face as she reached over for her first pokemon. With a good throw, Luxray was already on the field, followed by the image of Candy pointing and shouting a command before the pokemon moved forward to attack. The giant monobear then leapt into the air, smashing into the ground with a thunder quake as numerous boulders fell from what seemed like nowhere from above. And with that, Luxray was crushed.
She grimaced, teeth clenching in a worried annoyance as the gamer threw out her second pokemon - Malamar. Another attack was commanded and the pokemon complied easily. When the attack finally backed off, Monobear took no time to loose. Without warning, a large flower bloomed from the bearās chest - shooting out a blinding light straight at Malamar relentlessly until the pokemon was finally down. Shit- thatās two down.
Now she was building up a sweat. Without missing a beat, Candy quickly threw her next pokeball into the air - watching as a quick light cracked it open and tossed out the glowing image that became Mewtwo. A command is given to Mewtwo and it lands, dealing a good deal of damage. Suddenly the monobear disappeared, forcing Mewtwo to stop in confusion as he looked around. Without warning, Monobear belly flopped from the sky and right onto the pokemon - bouncing hard enough once to completely cracked the floor below them and bouncing once more back onto his feet. Three- that was three pokemon down. This wasnāt good - this wasnāt good at all.
Candy was soaked at this point. Her body moved noiselessly with to itās masterās breathing as her eyes darted around. But there was nothing there- nothing that would allow her to make an escape or help her defeat the thing before them. Finally, out of pure desperation, Candy just reached behind her and threw out her remaining pokeballs into the ring, setting free Gallade, Zekrom, and Aegislash all at once. She shouted, reaching out a hand at her commands as the pokemon suddenly bolted forward. Landing attack after attack, causing as much damage as their level difference will allow them, but when it came to monobearās turn, each pokemon was attacked and knocked out.
And thenā¦.. there were two. With her fallen teammates before her, Candy stared in shock across the battle field to watch and every one of her fallen comrades before returning to monobear again. He was beaten, but still- just staring at Candy for a while before he slowly, but eventually, started to move forward.
Stompā¦. stomp⦠stompā¦.
Noā¦. Her eyes widened, slowly beginning to take some rather cautious steps of her own as the gamer moved back and away from the giant bear. Monobear just continued to drag himself forward, tilting from side to side as he did so. Eventually a cold metal stopped the girl from going any further when Candy finally had her back pressed against the entrance doors. This is it. This is how sheās gonna die. āYa said yaād protect me, thIS ISNā PROTECTION JAMIE."Ā Her teamās gone, sheās injured, and thereās no where to goā¦ā¦.. Why?
But, just when all hope seemed to be lost, suddenly, the giant monobear began to tilt forward. He tried to move closer, but just as the gap between the two was turning right, Monobear suddenly fell face first onto the ground in defeat - his wings falling off of their unseen anchors and flopping onto the floor beside them.
Andā¦. she stared. Thatās it, just stared- Candy just stood frozen, back and hands pressing against the doors in confusion before another light suddenly shone down upon it. She tried to look up, but not even with the help of her hand could she see what laid beyond the bright rays. Whatā¦.. did sheā¦.? Did sheā win??? Was itā¦.. Was it really over?
With the sudden realization, the gamer suddenly just threw her fists into the air and closed her eyes, a big grin spreading across her face as the camera pulled out to show her full figure. But just when she thought she was finally free from the clutches of an inevitable death, a giant, bear-shapped badge fell down form the skyās light and on top of Candy with a CRACK; Leaving behind a red, bloody, rocky crack in the ground where a young trainer once stood.
āUpupupu, looks like you win!!ā
Body Announcement
The number of students continued to dwindle as more and more killed. Monobearās motives had been doing their work, and with such a tantalizing tone this week, some people were anxious to take their cash and skidaddle.Ā
As the sun rose, the students groggily rose from their beds, some earlier than others. Little did they know what events had transpired since they went to rest the night before. When you head downstairs on your way to go have breakfast, a panicked Oliver Lancaster exits the kitchen. Approaching you, he directs you into the room, bringing a startling sight into view.

One For the Money (Open Starter)
It was the middle of the night, Avery was in the kitchen, digging through the freezer, her entire upper body buried in the food as she burrowed through. She had grabbed a few containers of ice cream. She was feeling pretty snackish, even though it was well past midnight. Sheād just left the game room for awhile, and was hoping for someone to talk to.Ā
That was a bit too much to ask this early in the morning, wasnāt it?Ā
She emerged from the freezer, setting down her ice cream, and pulling out a bowl. This sundae was gonna be great! She danced over to the cabinet, looking to see if there was any candy to use as a topping, whistling as she went.Ā
She was hoping thisād cheer her up to be honest. Sheād been feeling pretty down lately, what with all the murder and all. Being around a bunch of kids who can die at any given moment does that to you. She wished there was some way to cheer everyone up⦠sheād think of something. For now, she just wanted to enjoy this snack, and not have to worry about everyone slowly dying. This weekās motive wasnāt even that bad! She knewĀ someoneĀ would kill for it, but she wasnāt really all that worried about cracking herself.
She sat down on one of the stools, ready to enjoy her ice cream. Before she could take a decent bite, however, she heard someone outside. Was she in any danger? She was prepared to bolt if she was.Ā
Keisuke groggily wandered through the halls of the Inn, rubbing his eyes and shuffling his way to the kitchen. He had his blanket around himself almost like a cape, look at this sleepy little nerd here, and as he rubbed his eyes, he was also busy muttering profanity under his breath. Ever since the end of the fourth motive, he's been woken up at random intervals with cramps in his stomach. Nothing he couldn't sedate, at least.
But Keisuke wasn't really noticing the lights ahead until he was right there with the kitchen door ajar. He froze, his eyes widening a bit in surprise. Was... was someone already in here? It was 2:30 in the morning... what if something was happening behind these doors that... he wasn't supposed to see? Just thinking about this was making his heart race...
Keisuke began a critical self evaluation as he contemplated entering, deciding that if there was someone murderous in here he'd have at least a slight fighting chance. What was the worst that could happen, ha..? Keisuke's gonna go for it.
Keisuke poked his head in, and scanned the room. Nothing of note, really... what a load off his mind... but then he saw her. It was her. It was BAE. He grinned like the giant five year old he is and slowly sneaked into the room, keeping low and maneuvering his way through the room until he was right. Behind. Her. He wiggled his fingers a little, trying to not laugh, before he WRAPPED HIS ARMS AROUND HER REALLY FAST FROM BEHIND SURPRISE AVERY EARLY MORNING HUG TIME!!!
Help this boy.

The intercom obnoxiously sprang to life not even a week after Ryuunosuke Inoue was executed, and it surprised no one when they heard the messageās contents.
āAttention, Attention, Attention ATTENTION. Iāve decided that Iām going to let you guys all out of here! Actually, I havenāt, but that seemed like the best way to make absolutely sure you were listening, and I guess it worked! Now please report to the Big Top for a required meeting!ā

Body Discovered
The sun rose on the Midway, a new day was dawning! The students still found their stomachs barren, without a source of food in sight. Naturally, this had left some of them irritable and cranky, and others exhausted. Some students were even beginning to wonder if anyone would die from the starvation alone, let alone murder. Speaking of murder, most people really had no doubt that someone would kill before long. It had become a sad reality by now, which was why, when a loud screech rang came from the ferris wheel, it wasnāt a stretch of the imagination to determine what had happened.
Nearby students ran to the source of the sound, finding a panicked Keisuke Kida staring at the ride. Following his gaze, youād see what gave him such a fright, dangling from the metal bars.

Question: What kind of bear is best? (Closed Starter)
(This is a closed starter for Keisuke)
Avery sat nervously on the beach, looking out into the water. Nervous⦠Yes, that seemed like an accurate way to describe how she felt. It was very rare for her to feel that way. She didnāt usually care what people thought of her, and would just do her own thing! But with him. With Keisuke. SheĀ had found herself worried about what he thought of her. She knew she could be her regular outlandish self around him, and heād still like her regardless, but she still always found her heart going aflutter whenever he was near her, or he defended her.
She knew that she loved him. Keisuke was a kind and pure soul, and that night, after Maverick had died, heād taken care of her, and made sure she was okay. During the trials, he would always jump to her defense. She appreciated him greatly, nd she could tell he liked her too. She wanted to be able to help him just as he did her. He was her damsel in distress. He was so much fun to be around too! And then there was the fact that he was absolutely adorable. He was exceptionally attractive, and in spite of hisĀ ābad boyā appearance, he was just a tiny softie Ā Avery rubbed her face on her sleeve. She hoped heād come soon.
Of course, she had to find out if he was worthy. She was a hero of high stature, so her lover would need to pass her tests. She hadnāt made them all that difficult though. Just a playful scavenger hunt so he could have some fun before finding her. She smiled and put her hood up, letting it hang over her eyes a little. Heād come, she was sure of it.
Keisuke was moving at a brisk pace toward the beach, notes and drawing in hand as he continued pondering who it was that did this. Sure, of all the people heād met in here, he already had a pretty good hunch as to who set this⦠rather adorable quest up for him. And⦠he kind of hoped his hunch was true. He shook his head though, and picked up the pace. He couldnāt let himself get his hopes upā¦Ā
As Keisuke got closer to the beach, he found himself almost running, scanning the shore desperately for any signs of life. If this is what he thought it was, then he wanted to get there as soon as possible. Who knows how long theyāve been waiting..? As he came to a stop near the lake, he squinted against the light in search of whoever⦠whatever it was, that he was looking for. After a few moments, a broad grin stretched across his face, and he shoved the notes into his pocket before jogged over to the only other person who was actually here.Ā
āAvery!ā he called as he appeared behind her, placing a hand over her head and grinning down at her. He always loved seeing Avery⦠and if this is what he thought it was, then this was all the more reason to be happy..!Ā
Keisuke cleared his throat, a vain effort to compose himself, and took a seat next to Avery. āSo⦠whatās up, what are you doing here?ā Keisuke stop trying to act cool. We all know youāre hype, let your hype be free~!
In the library, sitting on the table was a comic book. If he looked at it, Keisuke would've seen that it was one of Avery's books! And upon opening it, he'd find... a different note? This one seemed kind of different from the others, and was a folded up sketch. It seemed to depict a beach, looking out into a body of water, with two figures sitting on it, looking out to the sea. "You will find me where I wait/on the beach by the lake/that doesn't rhyme/my bad."
Keisuke noticed the somewhat out of place comic laying on the table and decided to give it a look, since hey, seemed pretty suspicious. Given the timing and all. He scanned the cover and saw that it was... written by Avery! He grinned he was gonna read the FUCK out of this..! But then what appeared to be his next note slipped from inside and onto the table. He tilted his head at it and shoved the comic into his jacket before he picked it up and looked at it. The picture was cute... so was the lack of rhyme compared to the previous two notes. He smiled and looked up, his suspicions as to who wrote this clearing up quite nicely as he refolded the note and made his way to his apparent rendezvous point. Time to meet the mastermind behind this whole scavenger hunt... and hopefully not die. Not dying would be nice.
Motive Announcement
Speakers suddenly sprang to life about the place. Just as it had three times before, Monobearās voice dominated the air waves to announce the next motive. You expect it to be the next motive, and just as intuition has it, Monobear summons everyone to the big top with his typical call for, Ā Ā āATTENTION!! ATTE- HKAK- HK- . .ahem. ā
ā⦠"Ā
"ATTENTION!"Ā
"Everyone, report to the Big Top for a BEARtastical announcement, immediately! Beartastical, did you like that one? No? I admit, it was a stretch. Now, everyone, report to the Big Top for a mandatory gathering!ā

As Keisuke entered the game room, he'd find a copy of PokƩmon SoulSilver on the table, and inside it, another note. "Wow you really are a nerd/but you're still cute as a bird/please don't judge this has to rhyme/I have way too much free time/you'll find me with a special book/so go to the library and take a look.
Keisuke chuckled at this next note, shoving the game case into one of his jacket pockets (whoever was doing this would probably want it back) and making his way over to the library. He didn't know what to expect there either, but if the surprises were gonna get cuter and not murder-y, then he'd follow them all day if necessary. Keisuke entered the library, two notes now in hand, and began his search for this special book.
If Keisuke looked under his door, he'd notice that a note had been slipped through the crack. How odd. It read: "I don't think your very lame/meet me where you'd play a game/once you get there, look around/and a certain clue, will be found/on the table is Pokemon/it will help you continue on."
Keisuke didn't really know what to think of this cute little note he found in his room, except to feel somewhat relieved that whoever gave him this thought he wasn't lame (or so they said who knows), and just a bit apprehensive toward blindly following this to... wherever it was talking about, really. But the fact that he didn't know where this was made him curious, so he still found himself sucking it up and brainstorming where this could be referring to. After a few minutes, he simply decided on the game room. There were games there. There was a table there. And if he was wrong, he could move on to the next place no sweat. Not like he was being watched or anything. Well. Not by whoever gave him this, at least. He gave a single haunted glance to the camera behind him before shaking off that unsettling thought and focusing on his new destination: the game room.
Mika walks to Keisuke's dorm, hoping to find him in his room. She knocks and waits quietly, holding a folded sheet of paper in her hand. On it, letters of Keisuke's name can be read.
Keisuke was busy lounging in his room when he heard a knock at his door, hurrying to answer it and finding that Mika Hachimitsu was on the other side. He was a bit curious as to why she was there... but seeing the paper in her hands made him smile nervously. "Ah... h-hello, Mika. What brings you here?" Keisuke asked, knowing good and well why she was there. Keisuke, don't feign ignorance, be a man and face the consequences of your past actions.
Two Birds One Stone (Closed RP for Hiromi)
Hiromi had been on his way to his dorm to retrieve his secret, but he certainly wasnāt moving with any hint of pep in his step. He was hoping that Kai wouldnāt be there. He wasnāt ready to be near Kai yet. Sure, the things Kai said and did were probably just because of the fever, but it still hurt. A lot.
Hiromi slipped into his dorm and quickly tip toed over to his bed and grabbed the envelope. He didnāt spend time checking who it belongs to yet, he had to be quick about this. As he was on his way out of the room, he quickly grabbed his Pikachu stuffed animal and turned to exit the room.
Just as he reached out to turn the door handle, there was a knock on the door! Hiromi knew it couldnāt be Kai- Kai could just come in on his own, since he has an electronic ID. So, whoever is at the door had to be here for either Kai or himself. Hiromi briefly wondered if he should just pretend that he isnāt even there, but finally, he decided it was time to check to see who it is.
Hiromi opened the door slowly and quietly peeped out through the crack and looked the stranger up and down. Oh. Itās just Keisuke. The relief Hiromi felt flood through him was almost embarrassing. Keisuke and him arenāt very close, honestly, but after Keisuke defended and protected him during the trial.. well.. Hiromi definitely felt a lot safer around him than anyone else.
āKeisuke.. what are you doing here..?ā he asks slowly, opening the door a bit wider so he could allow himself room to step out of the dorm. Hiromi was holding his huge pikachu plushy just a little higher up to cover a little bit of his face, as if it were some kind of shield. The smaller boy glanced down the hall before grabbing Keisukeās hand and giving him a desperate pout.
āWe canāt stay here, we need to go somewhere else,ā he begins as he gives a panicked glance down the hallways. Before waiting for a response, Hiromi grabbed Keisukeās hand and started dragging him towards the lounge. Hiromi definitely wasnāt about to be caught standing outside his and Kaiās dorm. What if Kai showed up! It would be a disaster.
Keisuke was getting a little nervous waiting for an answer, questioning what heād do if it was Kai who answered, or where to look if no one was actually here, but perked up when the door began to open. He saw Hiromi and exhaled in relief, shifting his weight to the opposite foot and giving Hiromi a nervous but friendly smile. He didnāt really know what state Hiromi was in⦠he wondered which secret this boy had gotten as he rubbed the filthy little paper he held in his palm with his thumb.Ā
āAh⦠nothing in particular, really.ā Keisuke answred, watching Hiromi slip out with his plushy. He was a little off guard when Hiromi grabbed his hand, however, frowning at Hiromiās nervous state and simply following him away to wherever he was taking himāin this case, the lounge. He now felt a bit concerned; was Hiromi doing okay..?Ā
Keisuke hadnāt really thought much of exploring the new floor just yet, but he guessed now he would kinda have to see a little of it. He looked around the lounge intently, absent-mindedly rubbing the paper in his hand a little more. They sure were making some attempt at comfort as far as most living arrangements went⦠Keisuke then looked down at Hiromi, looking him up and down before sighing quietly and tugging Hiromiās hand a little to get his attention. Even mustering the best kindred smile he could, you could still note the weariness of the past weekāhell, the past few weeks even, in Keisukeās visage.Ā
āHow have you been holding up, Hiromi?ā Keisuke asked, loosening his hold on Hiromiās hand but not really letting go. If Hiromi was still anything like he was at the trial, Keisuke was willing to be as much of a shoulder as he could. Trust was sacred in here, and he wanted to make sure people understood he wasnāt as intimidating as his appearance would let you believe.Ā
Meanwhile, however, Keisuke slipped the piece of paper into his back pocket. Heād go ahead and check up on Hiromi first to make sure he was doing okay, then move on to the more blatantly personal things.
Two Birds One Stone (Closed RP for Hiromi)
Keisuke was feeling kind of sick following this most recent motive announcement, cursing under his breath the entire way back to his dorm as his mind raced and tried to wrap itself around the possible severity of this event. Everyoneās deepest secrets? Keisuke had to admit he hadnāt done anything particularly awful in his lifetime⦠but the more mortifying occurences were another story. He shook his head and slipped into his dorm, shrugging off his jacket and making his way to his bed. On his pillow, he saw a small envelope, labelled āHiromiā. Keisuke thought for a moment. This was the guy he helped during the last trial⦠he questioned how bad it could be as he hesitantly opened the envelope, tossing it to the side and staring at the paper heād pulled out of it. He read the paper, of course, and felt his face drop. This could⦠be taken multiple ways. Nonetheless, this wasnāt really anything Keisuke was expecting. What should he do now though..?
Keisuke paused and turned to look at his door. He could⦠go give this to him. He didnāt understand the exact context of this secret, so he didnāt know how Hiromi would feel about it. Plus, Keisuke could go check up on him. He never got the chance to speak to him about Kai after the trial⦠or to see how he was doing between then and the motive being released. Keisuke hadnāt thought about it too much, he was a bit mentally preoccupied with making sure Avery recovered all rightā¦
ā⦠Youāre gonna see him anyway, might as well get this out of the way so things arenāt awkwardā¦ā Keisuke mumbled to himself as he made his way to the door, leaving his jacket behind as he made his way dkwn the hall to Hiromiās room. Was he even there? Who cares, Keisuke was about to find out. He gave to door a couple of knocks and scratched the back of his head a little. How was he even supposed to do this⦠just outright hand him the paper and move on like it didnāt happen⦠save it for later..? Keisuke will figure it out eventually, it seems.
Motive Announcement
The intercom cutting through the heavy silence of the students with an obnoxiously loud crackling is what effectively managed to freeze them in their tracks. It was no surprise that this was happening againā¦
āATTENTION!!ā At least they had been rather prepared this time for the, āAttention.ā
āAttention, everyone! You know what itās time for, so get your butts in gear! Everyone is required to meet at the Big Top for a mandatory meeting! ā¦And that means immediately, so go!ā

Any day now, someone will die. Thatās what many have been thinking as time progressed with the infected individuals. To some, allowing the infected to continue to live with their warped personalities may be cruel, cruel enough to call for murder to cure them. To some others, this may just be a good enough excuse to kill, or theyāve grown insane enough to slaughter another.Ā
However, the piercing shriek of Mika Hachimitsu caught everyone unprepared. Startled, heart-pumping, you rush to her. Was this scream you heard her last cry? Is she dead? You rush to the kitchen to find Mika- not dead, but looking on in horror at the ghastly and gut-wrenching scene at her feet.Ā
