Kai goes over to the MonoMidway and begins checking out some of the rides. He first checks out the. . I guess the Tilt A Whirl and Roller Coaster because those are fun
Well looking at the Tilt a Whirl, there doesn’t seem to be much there. It’s just a regular carnival ride.
But looking at the roller coaster, specifically the tracks, Kai would find something particularly interesting.

Hm. Keisuke is gonna go grab the satchel AND go check out the freezer then. Time to multi-task. Look at him go. What's up here?
The satchel seems to contain a number of art supplies, but oddly enough, the mallet seems to be missing! Where could it possibly be?
Upon entering the freezer, Keisuke would find something a bit more important than the mallet though.
“Ding dong kiddies! Another body has been found~”

infinitymbion:
The number of students continued to dwindle as more and more killed. Monobear’s motives had been doing their work, and with such a tantalizing tone this week, some people were anxious to take their cash and skidaddle.
As the sun rose, the students groggily rose from their beds, some earlier than others. Little did they know what events had transpired since they went to rest the night before. When you head downstairs on your way to go have breakfast, a panicked Oliver Lancaster exits the kitchen. Approaching you, he directs you into the room, bringing a startling sight into view.

What Are We? | Closed for Hiromi
superhighschoollevelsharpshooter:
Kai was feeling very relaxed with his limbs loosely wrapped around Hiromi. He finally calmed down and was able to think with a much clearer mind. As Kai was snuggling into Hiromi, he felt Hiromi put his hands on both sides of his face and gave him a small smile. This probably meant that Hiromi was going to tell him something pretty damn important- and Kai was all ears. Though there was a feeling of dread building up in his stomach and judging from the expression in Hiromi’s eyes, this wasn’t a light hearted subject. Kai could only hope that he would be able to understand and give Hiromi comfort. He gave Hiromi an encouraging nod to help him start speaking and softened his gaze as he ran his fingers through Hiromi’s hair.
When Hiromi began talking about his hardships he faced throughout middle school, Kai’s mouth was in the shape of a small gasp but no sound came out. Middle school… Kai was an even bigger ass to Hiromi then! To think Hiromi was that deep in trouble… and his middle school self probably only made it worse by teasing and bothering him every day. He probably only made Hiromi feel even worse!
“You’re not gross or pathetic…! I could never see you like that, especially now. . “ Kai was giving Hiromi an incredibly worried look, trying to find the “right” words to say. “If anything, it’s your parent’s fault. You did what you could in order to provide for your sister and yourself. You were…so so incredibly selfless. . Even if what you choose to do was highly questionable, you did everything you could. You… you’re so much stronger than me, Hiromi.” When he saw Hiromi wrapping his arms around himself, Kai looked away and wiped some of the tears forming at his eyes.
“I’m so sorry, Hiromi. And you’re probably tired of hearing me apologize, but I just can’t say it enough.”
When Hiromi was finally finished speaking, Kai gave Hiromi a firm look, his eyes serious. “Once we get out here. . I’ll make sure you never have to depend on those guys for money anymore. You can rely on me. And I’ll protect you, I promise.” Kai reached out to tentatively touch Hiromi’s hand, brushing his fingers across Hiromi’s knuckles.
Hiromi stared into Kai’s eyes for several seconds until he finally gave a small nod and let the corners of his mouth turn up a little. As Kai’s fingers brushed gently across his knuckles, Hiromi moved his hand forward and slid his fingers between Kai’s and locked their hands together.
“...If we get out of here, right?” he asks quietly, a melancholic smile wavering into a small frown. His grip on Kai’s hand tightens as Hiromi diverts his eyes from Kai’s- if he laid his eyes on Kai’s expression right now, he might start crying and he didn’t want to risk it.
“I’m sorry, but it just feels so damn far away, Kai. All those nights I spent on stranger’s mattresses and those countless hours I wasted on video games.. it all feels so fucking pointless now. Everything I did, I did it to provide a brighter future for my sister and I... and now...”
Hiromi bit down on his tongue to prevent himself from continuing, his mouth wavering back and forth between a frown and a smile, as if he was struggling to keep in his sadness. He brought his free hand up to his face, where he wiped his eye with his sleeve, keeping silent. Silent he stayed for what felt like several minutes, but couldn’t have been more than a few seconds.
“I want to believe that you will protect me. I want to escape. I want to find Akane and restart. I want everything to go back to how it was before, but.. it doesn’t really matter what I want, you know..? None of these things sound very promising right now, do you understand..?” Hiromi hadn’t noticed before that he was holding Kai’s hand so tightly that his knuckles had turned white, but now that he noticed it, he relaxed the grip and cautiously peeked back up at Kai’s face.
“I don’t know if there is a way to escape this situation other than dying, Kai.”

The intercom obnoxiously sprang to life not even a week after Ryuunosuke Inoue was executed, and it surprised no one when they heard the message’s contents.
“Attention, Attention, Attention ATTENTION. I’ve decided that I’m going to let you guys all out of here! Actually, I haven’t, but that seemed like the best way to make absolutely sure you were listening, and I guess it worked! Now please report to the Big Top for a required meeting!”

superhighschoollevelsharpshooter:
Kai stopped his babbling when Hiromi gently placed his finger over his lips. He wanted to continue to apologize, but it seemed like Hiromi wouldn’t have it. Sighing in defeat and giving Hiromi a quick kiss on the forehead, Kai tilted his head up slightly to give Hiromi room for him to nuzzle his face against his neck. Normally, Kai would find silence like this awkward, but the feeling of Hiromi pressed against his skin made time feel like it had stopped- and Kai wish it did. He would love to be in this moment forever, completely forgetting that they’re trapped in mutual killing game and that one of them could be killed at any moment.
“Y-yeah, I totally understand… If someone was treating me like that, I’d avoid them at all costs. . “ When Hiromi pulled his face away from Kai’s neck, he wasn’t expecting to see tears staining his cheeks. Bad experience with men in the past… ? Kai stared wide eyed at Hiromi as he briefly explained, biting his lower lip. “You… Holy shit, I’m so fucking sorry, I didn’t know. . Fuck, I must’ve made you remember some nasty things, gosh I’m so stupid.” Kai slapped his hand against his forehead and cursed silently at himself. “No, no, it’s not your fault for reacting like how you did! Shit, now I feel like the ultimate scumbag of planet Earth!”
Kai was dragging his hands down his face as he began to roll around on the bed in frustration, carefully avoiding accidentally hitting Hiromi with his legs.
He calmed down pretty quickly since Kai was feeling pretty lethargic and simply layed his body almost right on top of Hiromi’s and curled around him. “Did they hurt you? Were you forced into doing what they wanted?” Kai started to remember things from middle school, hearing people occasionally say harsh things to Hiromi, and Kai confronting them about it (without Hiromi’s knowing, of course). Was it people from middle school? Or was it people Kai didn’t know about?
Hiromi just sighed and shook his head as Kai began pushing blame onto himself again. Hiromi didn’t want Kai to continuously apologize for something that he couldn’t help. It wasn’t Kai’s fault that he had the fever, but it was Hiromi’s fault for giving him the cold shoulder during that time.. he should’ve tried to help him somehow. Hiromi scooted away a tiny bit as Kai wiggled and squirmed on the bed, but finally Kai calmed down and rested himself against him. Hiromi felt himself smile as Kai wrapped himself around him, but then, Kai’s question came and Hiromi wasn’t sure how to respond to that! Sure, Hiromi knew that Kai would probably be curious, but Hiromi couldn’t decide if he wanted to come clean and tell Kai about what happened or if he wanted to keep it secret. If he kept it secret, he could keep that in the past and not have to spend more time thinking about it.. but if he tells Kai about it, maybe Kai would be careful about the things he does and says in the future? It could possibly prevent a misunderstanding like this one from happening again...Hiromi took a deep breath and placed his hands on the side of Kai’s face and just gave him a small smile, blinking back a couple of tears that he could feel rising.
“Kai, don’t be alarmed when I tell you this.. Promise me you won’t... you won’t think I’m.. fucking gross or pathetic.. or something.. please don’t hold this against me, alright?” Hiromi closed his eyes for a second to collect himself. “When I was in middle school, my parents started to neglect my little sister and I. We never had enough money for anything and my parents would only come home a couple times a week. I had to resort to stealing food and pawning shit just to keep us going. I worked really hard to create games to get donations from people on the internet, and I tried to get discovered as a gamer to maybe get sponsored by someone. One time, I got a message from an older man, asking for.. sexual favors. So, I accepted, under the condition that he would have to take me out to eat and pay me.” Hiromi sighed and tilted his head down so he wouldn’t have to see Kai’s expression. “It wasn’t enjoyable, and I was scared, but he did give me a lot of money. More money than I had gained doing anything else, so I continued seeing him. Then, he spread the word to some of his friends and.. before I knew it.. I..” Hiromi grew silent. The video game designer wrapped his arms around himself for security. He stuttered a little, trying to get his thoughts into words that would make sense. “I h-had turned into a f-fucking whore..”
Hiromi slowly slid his hands from his sides to his face where he shielded himself from Kai’s gaze. “Many of those guys were.. nice enough.. but some of them were really very emotionally.. verbally.. and physically abusive towards me. I didn’t care, usually. I just needed them in order to survive and provide for Akane.”
Hiromi winced as he continued, in a more hushed tone, as if it really hurt him to vocalize. “B-But.. that damn fever made you act like one of them, and because I’m fucking in love with you, it hurt so bad!”
After a few moments of silence, Hiromi concluded abruptly.
“..I’m sorry.. I know you didn’t mean any of it. I know you were sick.. but, it was just... difficult to deal with.”

The sun rose on the Midway, a new day was dawning! The students still found their stomachs barren, without a source of food in sight. Naturally, this had left some of them irritable and cranky, and others exhausted. Some students were even beginning to wonder if anyone would die from the starvation alone, let alone murder. Speaking of murder, most people really had no doubt that someone would kill before long. It had become a sad reality by now, which was why, when a loud screech rang came from the ferris wheel, it wasn’t a stretch of the imagination to determine what had happened.
Nearby students ran to the source of the sound, finding a panicked Keisuke Kida staring at the ride. Following his gaze, you’d see what gave him such a fright, dangling from the metal bars.

When Kai heard Hiromi saying that he was in love with him and wanted to be his boyfriend, Kai stared down blankly at Hiromi, still trying to register what he had just said. Hiromi… wants to date me. Hiromi wants to date me. HIROMI WANTS TO DATE ME. Kai was basically screaming internally, feeling his throat closing up and unable to say anything. He didn’t care that anyone might be watching- he tilted Hiromi’s face up with his hand and leaned in to kiss him on the lips. The kiss was kinder, was sweeter, was gentler, and was much much better than other time they have kissed.
Kai suddenly scoped up Hiromi into his arms bridal style and twirled him around, laughing and smiling, though still not saying many sentences. He carried Hiromi back into their room while closing the door behind him and smiling as he bopped his nose against Hiromi, giving him lots of little Eskimo kisses. Kai was suddenly feeling very affectionate and flopped down on their bed with his arms wrapped around Hiromi’s waist.
“Hah h h… I’m so happy that I don’t even know what to say.” Kai said as he played the lock of Hiromi’s hair that had beads on it. “I’m just. . this is so great. I didn’t think you’d return my feelings, especially after I. . “ Kai stopped, grimacing as he remembered how he forcefully kissed Hiromi and touched him without his permission. That memory stung- he’s surprised that Hiromi’s still not incredibly angry about it.
He softened his gaze, pushing Hiromi’s bangs back to place a soft little kiss on Hiromi’s forehead. “I love you… So so so much.”
Hiromi was a little uncertain of what Kai was thinking as the sharpshooter stared blankly at him, but when Kai tilted his face up with his hand and kissed him gently, Hiromi was absolutely delighted by how soft and sweet the kiss was. It felt much more special than any other kiss they had shared together.
The lift, however, was quite unexpected and Hiromi even yelped quietly as Kai lifted him up and spun him around in his arms. Hiromi held on tight and gave an uneasy smile until it softened into a content little grin as Kai carried Hiromi off to their dorm. Hiromi blushed just a little at the Eskimo kisses and reciprocated Kai’s affection by kissing Kai’s forehead gently.
As Kai sat down on the bed and wrapped his arms around Hiromi’s waist, Hiromi grinned up at Kai and nuzzled his face against his neck as Kai played with the beads in his hair. This was a lot better than the awkward relationship they had with each other after the despair fever ended and Kai apologized in the cafe for what he had done. The things Kai did were.. really insensitive and mean, but.. he couldn’t help it. It isn’t his fault.. It was just scary and it took some time for Hiromi to get over it.
When Kai trailed off, Hiromi placed a finger over Kai’s lips. “...S-Shh. You didn’t mean to do that shit...” he whispered comfortingly. Hiromi let his finger fall away from Kai’s lips and wrapped his arms around Kai’s neck. As Kai kissed his forehead, Hiromi let out a soft giggle.
“I love you too Kai, so much...” he murmured, pressing his face against Kai’s neck, embracing the sharpshooter.
Hiromi kept his face hidden as he continued on. “I have.. forgiven you for all the shit that happened while you were sick.. and I still feel sorry for avoiding you.. I was just scared..” Hiromi lifted his face slowly, his eyes teary. “I.. I’ve had.. some bad experiences with... men in the past, and It just.. brought back some unpleasant memories.. and I didn’t really care as much about those guys when they did it to me... but.. when you did it... I..” Hiromi bit his lower lip and shook his head. “..I just felt scared and hurt, that’s all... b-but, I know that you didn’t mean to do it... I’m still sorry for overreacting.. I really love you, Kai...”

superhighschoollevelsharpshooter:
After another execution in trial room and people bursting into tears (mainly Mika), Kai and Hiromi left the trial room hand in hand as they made their way back to their dorm room. They were walking at a casual pace, but the atmosphere wasn’t very casual at all. It’s true that they made up from the incident involving Despair Fever, but Kai wasn’t certain as to where they stood with their relationship. He peeked down at Hiromi’s face, unsure of what to make of his expression. They did both admit to having romantic feelings for each other, but they never said anything past that.
Kai gave Hiromi’s hand a squeeze and rubbed his nose, trying to think of a cool and casual way to bring up the topic of them dating or nah. What if Hiromi didn’t want to date him? I mean, Kai would be ok with that since he knows Hiromi still likes him, but that also means other people would be free to flirt with him. Kai frowned at that thought, trying to shoo it away. He’d pour soda down their pants if anyone tried to pull anything on Hiromi.
Finally breaking the silence, Kai jingled the monocoins in his pocket. “Sooooo…” Kai started, pursing his lips slightly. “like… what exactly.. are we? Fuckbuddies, friends, . . dating? I mean, it’s totally ok if you don’t want us to be together. I don’t want you to feel forced or anything!” Kai says with a somewhat uneasy grin. “But I wouldn’t mind if we were b-boyfriends! I mean, as long as you were ok with that! Unless there was someone else you wanted to date? Haha, that’s totally fine with me! A-ok! Super fantastic!”
Kai continued rambling. “You’re a super great person, I mean you don’t need me to tell you that, I’m sure. You’re super cute, fun to be around, you’re fun to tease- Ah, that sounded kind of lame, ignore me.” Kai said, getting flustered.
As he felt Kai give his hand a squeeze, Hiromi looked up at him and gave him a sad smile. He stepped closer to Kai and snuggled his body up against him a little. His eyes were a little glossy with tears, but his smile was definitely sincere. After a moment, Hiromi looked back down at their intertwined hands. He didn’t want to cry, but all of these executions.. they’re awful. Sure, he’s played some gory video games before and he’s seen a couple of slasher films- but those things were all fictional! It’s a lot different seeing an actor in a film pretend to be torn limb from limb compared to a real person being attacked like that. Especially when the person is a peer of yours who’s been living just one floor above you this entire time, a person who has been in each trial with you. It’s disturbing- every death and execution is disturbing and disgusting! It was hard for Hiromi to see these things week after week. He could hardly stomach the executions.
When Kai broke the silence, Hiromi looked back up at Kai. His long drawn out ‘so’ made Hiromi feel a little nervous. What was he about to say? Hiromi slowed his walking down to a complete stop when he heard the rest of the question follow. They were near their dorm room, but not quite there so now they’re just standing in the hallway- are they about to have a serious conversation out here in the open? Hiromi opened his mouth to speak, but when Kai insisted that he wouldn’t mind it if they became boyfriends, Hiromi blushed and pursed his lips, listening to Kai as he continued to stammer on in an embarrassed ramble. When Hiromi saw just how flustered and uncool Kai looked, Hiromi knew Kai was definitely serious about this, and he knew that Kai must really care about him if he’s allowing him to see him like this- especially on top of how emotional he was a few days ago when he began sobbing in the hallway over how rude he was behaving during despair fever.
Hiromi moved closer to Kai and pressed his chest right up against Kai’s torso as he looked up at the taller boy, slowly sliding his hands up to wrap behind Kai’s neck. Hiromi gave him a sweet smile, and although his eyes were still gloss and he still seemed subdued from the trial and execution, he did seem to be feeling content. Hiromi cleared his throat softly, and pressed the side of his head against Kai’s chest.
“Kai, please be my boyfriend.. I’m in love with you, and I want to be with you, please..” he murmured softly, in almost a shy tone. It was hard for Hiromi to be so out and open with his feelings like this...
IMBION Chapter 3 murder, more like...
Body Announcement
The air has been tense the last few weeks. It was an unspoken agreement between everyone that there was nothing they could do to prevent a murder, and each student was left to wonder whether that day would be their last. Of course, some may have been wishing for death, especially with the knowledge that someone knew the darkest secret they held. It was only a matter of time before someone figured out who got the dirt on them, and they had to be… silenced.
So when a soaking wet Nashimi Itsuki ran up to you frantically, you naturally suspected the worst. Unfortunately, those fears turned out to be justified, as Nashimi quickly set about explaining what happened.
“T-Takumi! He killed Daichi! He’s by the lake!”
With that, they went in pursuit of the other students, and you make your way to the lake until you look down on a body at your feet, still partially in the water.

Keisuke was getting a little nervous waiting for an answer, questioning what he’d do if it was Kai who answered, or where to look if no one was actually here, but perked up when the door began to open. He saw Hiromi and exhaled in relief, shifting his weight to the opposite foot and giving Hiromi a nervous but friendly smile. He didn’t really know what state Hiromi was in… he wondered which secret this boy had gotten as he rubbed the filthy little paper he held in his palm with his thumb.
“Ah… nothing in particular, really.” Keisuke answred, watching Hiromi slip out with his plushy. He was a little off guard when Hiromi grabbed his hand, however, frowning at Hiromi’s nervous state and simply following him away to wherever he was taking him–in this case, the lounge. He now felt a bit concerned; was Hiromi doing okay..?
Keisuke hadn’t really thought much of exploring the new floor just yet, but he guessed now he would kinda have to see a little of it. He looked around the lounge intently, absent-mindedly rubbing the paper in his hand a little more. They sure were making some attempt at comfort as far as most living arrangements went… Keisuke then looked down at Hiromi, looking him up and down before sighing quietly and tugging Hiromi’s hand a little to get his attention. Even mustering the best kindred smile he could, you could still note the weariness of the past week–hell, the past few weeks even, in Keisuke’s visage.
“How have you been holding up, Hiromi?” Keisuke asked, loosening his hold on Hiromi’s hand but not really letting go. If Hiromi was still anything like he was at the trial, Keisuke was willing to be as much of a shoulder as he could. Trust was sacred in here, and he wanted to make sure people understood he wasn’t as intimidating as his appearance would let you believe.
Meanwhile, however, Keisuke slipped the piece of paper into his back pocket. He’d go ahead and check up on Hiromi first to make sure he was doing okay, then move on to the more blatantly personal things.
Hiromi squeezed his pikachu plushy tight to his chest as he glanced over his shoulder once again to make sure Kai wasn’t anywhere near them.
“Sorry. We couldn’t stay near that dorm. I’m not sure what might happen when he catches me. I’ve been avoiding him as much as I possibly can. I mean, I can’t avoid him forever, but I’m still scared of him and I’m not ready.” Hiromi sighed and looked down at the plush animal in his arms before glancing back up at Keisuke, releasing his hand.
“I’ve been holding up.. okay. I’m not really sure how I feel about staying in the same room with Mika and Momo, but it’s better than being around Kai. I mean, of course, Mika is nice and.. Momo isn’t as.. scary as she was, but I just feel awkward staying with them..” Hiromi shook his head dismissively. “Never mind that, though. I’m fine,” he says with a firm nod. Hiromi scratched the back of his head and let out a small sigh.
“I’m sorry for what Kai said in the trial.. I really put you in a difficult spot, I know. I didn’t mean to make it look like that, I promise I wasn’t trying to ruin your reputation or anything like that...” Hiromi let his eyes fall back down onto his pikachu as he brought his plushy up a little further in order to provide himself with more support.
“..Kai really has done a lot of hurtful things to me, and he’s said a lot of horrible things and I know I can’t really apologize on his behalf and I know I shouldn’t even try to, but I’m still fucking sorry..” Hiromi shook his head a little and shrugged his shoulder.
“And now, with this secret motive.. well, that’s just more shit to worry about, huh? Monobear really doesn’t want us to catch a damn break..”
“I fucked up, I made a mistake, Nobody does it better than myself” | (Closed for Hiromi)
Kai hadn’t ordered anything to eat yet, mostly because he wasn’t hungry. His mind and thoughts were preoccupied with all the different scenarios and conversations that could happen when he finally talks to Hiromi again. Kai was so deep into his thoughts that he didn’t even notice Hiromi walking in and ordering a cupcake! His thoughts were interrupted when he heard someone running and when Kai turned his head, he saw Hiromi sprinting out! All the possible scenarios he thought of vanished into thin air as Kai stumbled out of his chair and ran after the smaller boy.
“Hiromiiiiiii! Wait!” Kai yelled out as he chasing him, his voice shaking and his breathing uneven. Since Kai was much taller and had longer legs, he was able to catch up easily and grabbed Hiromi’s arm, praying that he wouldn’t pull away.
“Oh god, oh my fucking god I thought I’d never speak to you again…” Kai said as he tightly gripped the sleeve of Hiromi’s shirt and took a step closer to Hiromi, his walking unsteady. “I’m so sorry, like holy shit am I sorry… The Despair Fever, it made me act like such an asshole. I’m so sorry, I-I… “ Kai’s body was noticeably shaking, and his eyes were averted towards the ground. “I fucked everything up, didn’t I? I thought, I thought…Ugh, the date went well and I just . . “
“I said some fucked up shit to you and made you leave our room… Oh my god, Hiromi, I’m so sorry. Please, please say something. Anything. Yell at me, hit me, just please don’t ignore me. Don’t go, please don’t leave… “ Kai bit his lower lip and finally took a look at Hiromi’s face. He remembered how pained and hurt Hiromi looked when he pushed him out the bed and during the trial. He didn’t want to be the cause of Hiromi’s pain anymore.
Kai’s voice was more hoarse and strained- afraid that Hiromi would disappear any second. “Please.. you are.. you’re my.. I-I l-lo-..” Kai collapsed to his knees and hid his eyes with his hand.
“I love you god damn it… I’m so sorry, I was shitty to you.. “ Kai said in a quieter voice, his body leaning against Hiromi’s leg.
As soon as Hiromi felt Kai grab his arm, he let out a shocked gasp and whirled around to face the sharpshooter, dropping his cupcake box onto the floor and spilling backwards. He tripped over his own foot and fell, landing on his back, his arm still anchored in place by Kai's grip. Hiromi gave him an aggravated expression, but it was more than just annoyance- there also seemed to be blatant fear in his eyes as well. Hiromi was about to start yelling at Kai to let go of him, but before he could, Kai began to plead with him and apologize to him.
Hiromi sat, frozen in confusion and concern as he watched Kai grip his sleeve and tremble. Kai seemed genuinely upset! Hiromi wasn't sure if he felt comfortable being around him yet, but he'd be lying if he said he wasn't worried about him.
When Kai looked up at him, Hiromi couldn't bring himself to force a smile or anything, his face was still stuck in a look of confusion and disbelief, mouth slightly agape and his eyes wide, eyebrows furrowed. Hiromi was about to pull his arm away some more, but then, he found himself frozen in place once again when Kai began to stutter in such a hoarse voice.. he looked so pained, it was hard for Hiromi to keep eye contact with him.
"..Kai.." he started, just as Kai released him and collapsed onto his knees. Hiromi was alarmed enough to get off his ass, but he stayed down in a crouched position, watching Kai cautiously. Kai had a hand over his face so it was hard to see what he was feeling.. But then, he confessed.
Hiromi put a hand over his mouth and stayed crouched down, eye level with Kai for a few moments, but as soon as Kai began to lean his body against him, Hiromi moved down onto his knees and wrapped his arms around Kai's back and hugged Kai tightly to his chest. Hiromi began to cry silently, and squeezed the sharpshooter a little harder before loosening his grip and pulling away from him just enough to move his face to Kai's face in order to press a gentle kiss to Kai's mouth. Hiromi only broke the kiss when he found that he needed more air, and as he gazed at Kai, Hiromi moved his hands to the sides of Kai's face and gave Kai a small smile, even though he was still crying.
"..K-Kai, I love you too, I really fucking love you a lot. I-I was just.. I was just hurt and s-scared! I'm sorry for avoiding you.." he whispered, running one of his hands up to gently caress Kai's hair. My, my, how gay.

Keisuke was feeling kind of sick following this most recent motive announcement, cursing under his breath the entire way back to his dorm as his mind raced and tried to wrap itself around the possible severity of this event. Everyone’s deepest secrets? Keisuke had to admit he hadn’t done anything particularly awful in his lifetime… but the more mortifying occurences were another story. He shook his head and slipped into his dorm, shrugging off his jacket and making his way to his bed. On his pillow, he saw a small envelope, labelled “Hiromi”. Keisuke thought for a moment. This was the guy he helped during the last trial… he questioned how bad it could be as he hesitantly opened the envelope, tossing it to the side and staring at the paper he’d pulled out of it. He read the paper, of course, and felt his face drop. This could… be taken multiple ways. Nonetheless, this wasn’t really anything Keisuke was expecting. What should he do now though..?
Keisuke paused and turned to look at his door. He could… go give this to him. He didn’t understand the exact context of this secret, so he didn’t know how Hiromi would feel about it. Plus, Keisuke could go check up on him. He never got the chance to speak to him about Kai after the trial… or to see how he was doing between then and the motive being released. Keisuke hadn’t thought about it too much, he was a bit mentally preoccupied with making sure Avery recovered all right…
“… You’re gonna see him anyway, might as well get this out of the way so things aren’t awkward…” Keisuke mumbled to himself as he made his way to the door, leaving his jacket behind as he made his way down the hall to Hiromi’s room. Was he even there? Who cares, Keisuke was about to find out. He gave to door a couple of knocks and scratched the back of his head a little. How was he even supposed to do this… just outright hand him the paper and move on like it didn’t happen… save it for later..? Keisuke will figure it out eventually, it seems.
Hiromi had been on his way to his dorm to retrieve his secret, but he certainly wasn’t moving with any hint of pep in his step. He was hoping that Kai wouldn’t be there. He wasn’t ready to be near Kai yet. Sure, the things Kai said and did were probably just because of the fever, but it still hurt. A lot.
Hiromi slipped into his dorm and quickly tip toed over to his bed and grabbed the envelope. He didn’t spend time checking who it belongs to yet, he had to be quick about this. As he was on his way out of the room, he quickly grabbed his Pikachu stuffed animal and turned to exit the room.
Just as he reached out to turn the door handle, there was a knock on the door! Hiromi knew it couldn’t be Kai- Kai could just come in on his own, since he has an electronic ID. So, whoever is at the door had to be here for either Kai or himself. Hiromi briefly wondered if he should just pretend that he isn’t even there, but finally, he decided it was time to check to see who it is.
Hiromi opened the door slowly and quietly peeped out through the crack and looked the stranger up and down. Oh. It’s just Keisuke. The relief Hiromi felt flood through him was almost embarrassing. Keisuke and him aren’t very close, honestly, but after Keisuke defended and protected him during the trial.. well.. Hiromi definitely felt a lot safer around him than anyone else.
“Keisuke.. what are you doing here..?” he asks slowly, opening the door a bit wider so he could allow himself room to step out of the dorm. Hiromi was holding his huge pikachu plushy just a little higher up to cover a little bit of his face, as if it were some kind of shield. The smaller boy glanced down the hall before grabbing Keisuke’s hand and giving him a desperate pout.
“We can’t stay here, we need to go somewhere else,” he begins as he gives a panicked glance down the hallways. Before waiting for a response, Hiromi grabbed Keisuke’s hand and started dragging him towards the lounge. Hiromi definitely wasn’t about to be caught standing outside his and Kai’s dorm. What if Kai showed up! It would be a disaster.
“I fucked up, I made a mistake, Nobody does it better than myself” | (Closed for Hiromi)
Kai waking up alone in his room again made Kai just flop back down onto the bed and cover his eyes with his arm. Shit fucking sucks right now and it’s all his fault. Of course Kai wanted to apologize, but he had no idea as to where Hiromi actually was. And even if he found Hiromi, would Hiromi even give him the chance to say “Sorry”? Kai started to roll around in his bed then caught his foot on one of the blankets, leading him to try to push the blanket off but instead pushing himself off the bed. He really deserved that one- Hiromi probably felt a lot more worse when Kai did that to him.
After Kai finally finished getting dressed, he decided to go looking for Hiromi again. He wouldn’t be surprised that someone probably saw him wandering around a lot and told Hiromi about it. Still, he had to give it a go because he had no intention on giving up on Hiromi easily.
He visited to 5th floor of the Inn since he hasn’t explored that place yet and was a little excited to see a pool. Hiromi really didn’t seem to be the type to go swimming, but it couldn’t hurt to check, right? Kai walked in through the boy’s changing room (still no sign of small, grumpy boy) and sadly, no sign of Hiromi at the pool either. Kai bit down on his lower lip in frustration and kicked at the ground, but ended up slipping and falling into the pool! This was just his luck- now his clothes and hair were soaking wet! He pulled himself out of the water, shook his hair around like a dog, and went into the pool supply room to grab a towel.
Kai tossed his shirt and pants into the washing machine in drying machine and “borrowed” a pair of black sweat pants and T-shirt from a random laundry basket. He had the towel casually around his neck and decided to chill in the lounge and cafe while waiting on his clothes.
He was casually leaned back in chair, sipping on his Pepsi and drumming his fingers impatiently on the table.
“This is pathetic… “ Kai muttered to himself.
Hiromi wasn’t necessarily comfortable in Mika and Momo’s room, especially after having to live in such close proximity with an infected Momo and bees, but he didn’t know where else to stay. If he could somehow find the electronic IDs of Hibiki, Albert, Reiko or Viola, he could stay in one of the pink rooms.. but where the hell did those electronic IDs go?
Hiromi sighed and looked over at his own electronic ID. There was a new map released recently. There was no point in just moping around in this dorm forever. He should probably go check out the new floor in person. On the map, there seems to be a cafe. Hiromi wouldn’t mind going to the cafe.. maybe there would be some interesting foods there. Hiromi wasn’t a fan of having to cook all his own food or eat fair food- perhaps the cafe has some good alternatives?
The video game designer shoved his electronic ID into his hoodie pocket and ran a hand through his hair before pulling his hood up. Sure, it’s easy to recognize that it’s him, but somehow, this just makes him feel a little safer. Safety.. it’s something to cherish in this kind of setting. Priceless.
It didn’t take very long for Hiromi to make it down to the 5th floor. As he exited the elevator, he spent a few minutes checking out the changing rooms and the pool before heading back over to the other side of the hall. Ah, a laundry room. Now he could finally wash and dry his clothes easier.. it had been aggravating having to do it all by hand for the past two weeks.
After the discovery of the laundry room, Hiromi moved into the cafe and stepped up the the little counter and just glanced up at the monobear without speaking. He looked at all the muffins, cupcakes, crepes, and parfaits in the display case, and then he took note of the sandwiches in the racks not too far away. Hiromi pointed at a simple strawberry shortcake cupcake and gave the bear a nod. As the monobear reached down to get the cupcake and put it in a box for Hiromi, Hiromi glanced over his shoulder and noticed Kai there. He was drumming his fingers against the surface of the table, but he was leaned back in his chair and Hiromi felt like maybe Kai hadn’t seen him yet!
As soon as the monobear handed Hiromi the box, Hiromi quickly grabbed a fork and some napkins from the little table and turned on his heels to flee from the room, though his frantic footsteps were louder than he intended, and Hiromi realized a bit too late that Kai has probably spotted him by now.
