"I vote for Nikki-san."
Trial || Shinju
True enough, she had told Nikki that. Shinju could not say Akemi’s death had been completely unjust, either, even if this game notoriously lacked justice. She had done nothing wrong, yet still felt slightly responsible for this turn of events, never having noticed how afraid Nikki had been.
"I wish I could have been of help to you were you to have such fears. It was understandable, however, and it cannot be denied your action has saved us all from dying terribly in space when the oxygen would have run out. As I have said before, we should trust each other instead of playing this monstrous game devised for us and to find more about the state of our situation. I have indeed found something interesting myself, and I would like to know if anyone else had."
She looked around the faces of her classmates, using the trial as a place to hint about her findings as they were all rarely gathered like this.
"In any case, that is probably best to be left after the trial, which must now commence. Nikki-san… I truly am terribly sorry. To secure an innocent will not die, I must vote for you, but know that we all are alive for an another week because of you, too. I do not blame you: it is all on Monokuma-san.”
shinju why do you refuse to investigate personal rooms
Assuming it's a knife, Shinju takes a look in the kitchen. Any knives missing, or for that matter, any other sharp objects?
Yes, apparently. One poor knife is gone. How sad.
Stumped with the apparent lack of any evidence, Shinju takes a closer look at the blanket. Where could it possibly be from? A personal item?
It seems like it’s a personal item. It’s not really the type to be left around the base for public use.
Body Reveal Reaction || Shinju
The librarian stared at the body of the fallen girl, and thought she looked rather peaceful in death. Did she find her redemption? That would make a good story. As terrible as death always was, Shinju was only glad it had at least been Akemi and not someone she would have missed more, seeing as how a murder was necessary to save the rest of them.
There was not much to do than to get to work, was there?
pokemon au i hear?
shinju has a girl ninetales named kitsune, a girl noctowl named chie and a klefki named kagi ninetales because, Nine Tales, u see. noctowl because its a wise studious owl. klefki because its literally keys andd... you use keys to lock up libraries.
Out of curiousity, Shinju examines the information desks thoroughly with nothing better to do. Is there any information about the moonbase- Or, well, anything? A stray pamphlet? Information desks without pamphlets were so bare, after all: as a librarian Shinju had a strong opinion on this, and was sure to point this out to someone if there indeed was nothing around the information desks.
There were various pamphlets laid upon the desk, ranging from basic information on planetary systems to dark matter theories to industrial information such as how to properly build a prospering business. You may ask yourself why something like that would be here, but alas, you figure it probably makes more sense than the situation you were already in.
However, something from the side catches your eye. There’s only one copy of one of them— And, in fact— It doesn’t look like a pamphlet at all. Rather, an old folded up sheet that had appeared to be from an older newspaper. You had decided to pick it up and begin reading it, only to be a bit puzzled from what you had seen.
NOVEMBER 26TH, XXXX*
As we all are aware at this point in time, there is no going back. Various ships have been deployed to all planets seemed suitable for life. War has broken out once more on what we once before called our home. After many riots, fights, and arguments, it was best that the Astral Cabal became completely unearthed and brought to the public view. Many once originally secretly planned to bring along were taken from their families to come on this trip through the approval channeled through Hope’s Peak Academy’s board.
Through the Astral Cabal’s struggles with the Celestial Camarilla, we find it harder and harder to report on the topic. The CC has infiltrated our new home’s security and has since then deployed backers and members of it’s rotten schemes to, as directly quoted, “Take back what is rightfully theirs”. Things we tend to forget is that there was never a problem in the first place. Though things might’ve been terrible, we had been in a similar crunch back on our home planet for decades.
Some hopes have been spared and scattered throughout this new solar system deployed on various planets. Once we finish reconstructing society trying to live hand in hand with all AC and CC supporters, we will be able to awaken them and have them help reconstruct a society better than what was before. No more war, and hopefully the end of the AC / CC conflict will soon come. Until then, we set our eyes forth on Orienne, and hope our biggest mission deployed there was a success.
The estimated date for finishing the project on 894721 is said to be decades. Observers have been deployed to go farther than the base to begin

That article of the page had appeared to be ripped out from that point onwards.

Shinju takes the papers with her.
Motive Reaction || Shinju
A motive, that yet again, resulted in all of their deaths if not acted upon. Since Lukas, it had been like this. Shinju, once again, would have to be thankful about the murder she no doubt saw coming. She hated it, hated she had to admit that murdering one person would be better than all of them perishing.
Shinju had been uncharasterically silent, and continued to be, moving into her room and folding paper into various forms of origami, sometimes after writing beautiful calligraphy kanji letter on the papers with a fine horsehair brush.
Honoka's Death Reaction || Shinju
The environmentalist was dead, died of breaking the rules like Oolong had, and Shinju felt like they both had been a bit dim. The rules shouldnät have been all that hard to follow: of course she agreed the rules were stupid, however.
All in all, it was a terrible thing to happen, no matter what, but when terrible things just kept on happening, it was easier to disregard it and return to the certain normalcy of her life in the moonbase, waiting for a motive.
Monomachine || Shinju
As usual, surviving through the tribulations of the trials yielded a lott of Monocoins. Shinju had never been one to make a big deal about the items she had gotten, but opening the capsule she now opened made her stop for a bit.
CAT PAW EYEPATCH
Well, doesn’t that look familiar…
It did look rather familiar, and Shinju sat there motionless and swallowing back for good five minutes before leaving the place.
Execution Reaction || Shinju || ATTN: Hirashi
Toru’s execution seemed to be rather amusing to some, but a cold lonely death in space didn’t seem all that amusing to Shinju, not t mention how humiliating it was. The words he had said to her made the corners of her mouth turn slightly downwards no matter how well she tried to keep a straight face. She swallowed back and averted her eyes from the sight of the rainbow explosion.
Again, there was not much to say, but Shinju sought Hirashi with her gaze. She had seen Toru signing with him, still unaware who had started it, and tried to sign a couple of words of whatever consolation she had to offer, since he evidently had been close to Toru. Suddenly she was uncertain what to sign, only managing to make a feeble offer of [If you’d like to talk…], but she felt it was something, feeling like she should be of help to the boy, having not forgotten what Hirashi had previously done for her.
Shinju wasn’t certain if the boy saw what she signed, but she was in too much of a hurry to get out of the choking atmosphere of the trial room to stay and see, hurrying to her own room.

A very respectable lady - Tokiko couldn’t help but admire her chair too. She was sure it’d look better with jetpacks though.
