We have gotten an incredibly small amount of applications so far, so just a reminder to submit yours if you haven’t already done so!! Deadline is this Saturday, November 28th. If we don’t get a few more apps in I may need to cancel the exchange this year due to low numbers

Applications open for 2020 Shugo Chara Secret Santa Exchange!!

The Shugo Chara Secret Santa Exchange is a yearly gift exchange open to all members of the fandom (active or inactive) to give and get Shugo Chara themed gifts! Almost any digital gift is allowed (art, fanfiction, amvs, edits, etc), regardless of ability level! 

Please read our RULES before applying!

In order to participate Please fill out an application according to the APPLICATION GUIDELINES and submit it HERE

After you submit an application, I will send you confirmation that your app has been received!

Applications are open starting now through NOVEMBER 28th. I will be sending out everyone’s matches on NOVEMBER 30th. Presents will be exchanged between December 24th and 26th.

The applications are super easy! But if you have any questions, feel free to message me HERE. I always try to be accommodating of all situations that might come up during the exchange. Part of the application process is listing ships/characters you are not comfortable with working with, so don’t feel like disliking a popular character means you can’t participate.

Presents can be exchanged any time throughout the next two days!! If for some reason you are not going to be done in time, please let me know ASAP!!

You can exchange your gifts as follows:

1.) submit it to your recipient

2.) post it on your own page and tag the recipient

If for some reason neither of those options work for you, you can submit your present to this page, and I will post it and tag the recipient!!

Reminder for all participants in the 2018 exchange

Everyone should gift their present between the 24th and the 26th.

You can exchange your gift in one of three ways

1.) submit it to your participant

2.) post it on your own tumblr and tag the recipient

3.) (if for some reason you are unable to use either of the other methods) submit it to this blog and I will tag the recipient

Last Call for the 2018 Shugo Chara Secret Santa

The original dealine was last night, but I totally spaced. So applications are now open until 2pm PST November 26th. It would be great if we could get a couple more participants!

2018 Shugo Chara Secret Santa!!

Yes, it’s still kicking!! Anyone is welcome to participate in this holiday themed gift exchange, as long as you like Shugo Chara. Not active in the fandom? No problem! Almost any kind of digital gift is allowed so even if you aren’t the best artist you can write a fanfic, make some edits, or almost anything else you can think of!

In order to join please submit your application here. Your application should include the following:

1.) Name and pronouns

2.) List three (3) ships/characters you would like      As well as any characters/ship you dislike

3.) Any characters/ships you would rather not gift to another person

4.) If you’re willing to sub-in for another gifter just in case (in other words give two gifts to two different people; ONLY AS NEEDED)

5.) Any comments/concerns/questions you may have. (don’t hesitate to ask; i will try to be considerate of all different situations.) If for some reason you had an issue with last years exchange that wasn’t resolved, please contact me about that as well!!

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 24TH 2018. I usually try to use messages to contact the participants, but it would be nice if you had ask/submit on at this time to make sure we can contact you. If there are reasons you cannot turn them on you MUST provide me with alternate ways to reach you.

Matches will be sent November 26th.

Gifts will be exchanged December 24th-26th.

It’s right around the time everyone should be sending out their gift! In case you’re curious, here are the different ways you can do so.

Please try to send your gift by Tuesday evening. If you have any last minute problems please let me know ASAP (I’m leaving for Japan on Monday night, and should be able to respond once I get there, but I may take longer to get any problems resolved while I’m there)
