I mean no offense in what I am about to say but those people suck. If you are going to see things like that, you are going to see everything as bad, even the good things. I mean I was like that once, never seeing the good, only the bad in everything I did, said and witnessed, but of course I overcame that and managed to transform myself into someone with a positive outlook. If you search, I a sure that you can find the good in most things that happen to you.

Suck, huh? Yeah, you could say that. Negativity sucks the same way a black hole does, so I guess that's a pretty accurate word. I'm just a cynic by nature, don't mind me.... dude.

I wouldn’t call it mystified, just amazed that the Christmas spirit is still alive. I wold of thought that with the amount of darkness in this world, something so magical would of been squashed.

Wow, that's... you make a good point. I dunno, I'm more of the "glass is half empty" type. Most magical things are squashed these days, so I guess you're right;

All the shop windows filled with Christmas decorations and watching the children’s eyes as they walk past it. There is something magical about all of that.

Headcanon #1: House Fires

Often when Anais is bored or hasn't practiced the craft in some time, she will accidentally (or intentionally) start a small fire in her apartment, often in the bathroom or bedroom. This usually happens during meditation or extreme relaxation, or on days when she has a lot of pent-up sadness or anger. Unable to contain all of the excess energy, Anais will start a fire and watch it for hours on end, just sitting there as the flames dance in front of her. She has a special set of large stoneware bowls in her supply closet specifically for the purpose of filling them with flames. 

Due to Anais' clumsiness, on more than one occasion she's set off the smoke detector. Though she's never done worse than fill the room with smoke, there have been a few extremely close calls. In her last apartment, Anais once caught the toilet on fire while cutting her hair. She doesn't talk about that, though.

Yes, most definitely. That seems like an excellent idea to me. Maybe I should follow your example. I could even put one of those glow in the dark stars on it to make it extra Christmas-y.

Add a dash of glitter and you'll practically be shitting candy canes. Honestly this is the most effort I've ever put into Christmas.
