Melantho turned around from the spot she was cleaning when she heard him. Pausing a moment.

"Oh..... Hello Eurymachus."

He smiled at her, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Cleaning again, hm?"

She smiled a bit at that. Nodding as she glanced over at whatever she was cleaning.

"Mhm. Trying to get everything done sooner rather than later."

Eurymachus rested his hands on her hips, gazing into her eyes.

Melantho tilted her head at that. Eventually placing down the rag she was using to clean. Humming a bit.

What does Eurymachus ACTUALLY think of Melantho? Without manipulating her that is (Don’t know if you already answered this 🙏)

He thinks she's cute but he would never consider her to be good enough to marry him because she's a servant and not of noble blood

On the other hand if he were to really fall in love with her he would use his manipulation tactics to make her into a noblewoman or a princess. With lies or other ways

Melantho was in the servants area scrubbing dishes from the suitors meal. She dislikes many of them. And of course her brother Melanthius was to busy hanging out with them to help. She hated this. The queen was stalling the suitors everyday, with her weaving. She unthreads the work she's done. But if course Melantho told Eurymachus the first chance she got. She already betrayed her queen the second she started having interest in him. But she didn't care. As Melantho scrubbed the dishes her two little mouse teeth stuck out from her lips as she bit her bottom lip In frustration.

"stupid asshole brother- to busy pretending to be a suitors friend to help-"

Melantho said to herself as she scrubbed.

*Heels clicked as he walked and Eurymachus came down into the area as she washed the dishes, he smiled sliding his hands up her back, his thumbs pushing up her spine with almost too much pressure. He smiled down at her.*

“My favorite little mousssey.. how beautiful you are today..” *He leaned close to her ear and gave her a breathy whisper.* “Melantho..” *He then stood to full height again. One hand on her shoulder and the other on her throat slightly, rubbing up and down. Almost a possessive movement.*

“Sssshould I kick him from the dining table once more? He likesss to be there uninvited and I love ssseeing him sssquirm when I point that out.” *He said more to himself than her as the hand on her shoulder gripped harder pressing into her back muscles as his hand on her throat did the same after sliding to her other shoulder.* “Would you like that Mousey..~?”

Melantho paused when she heard the clicking of heals. She let out a small gasp of air when his hands found their way to her back and her throat....... The mouse like woman looked down trying to focus on the dishes she was watching instead of him. Her sandy toned hair that was up in a bun had a few stray hairs that went over her face at that. Her hands continuing the scrubbing.

"n-no. It's fine. It's all good."

Melantho murmured shyly. Her hands moving diligently on the dishes she was tasked with washing. The woman would never admit it but Eurymachus could be very intimidating. But regardless she wanted to spare her brother the humiliation because no matter how much she hated to admit it. She cared about Melanthius.

*He smiled and leaned close his hands sliding back down her back and going over her ribs before grabbing the bones of her hips.* “You’re right.. if I get him. Then he’sss gonna ssseparate usss.. we can’t have that when I’ve just gotten here, now can we..?” *He murmured as he looked down at her.*

*He then leaned down and blew a small gust of his breath near the jugular of her neck and leaned close as he looked up at her. Pulling her hips to his making her back press against his front.* “I mean, who would want to walk away from sssuch a beauty~?” *He asked, his sharp golden tooth coming over and gently grazing her shoulder before he stood up straight again his fingers digging into the flesh of her hips to where she felt small prints left behind as he held her. Smiling almost wickedly as he made sure that when she looked later she would have bruises, his bruises, on her hips.*

She glanced over her shoulder at him. Her dark brown eyes looking him over. Like she has many times before. He was right. Melanthius didn't really like Eurymachus at all. So anything wrong could make Melanthius pull a 'big brother' protective mode and force this relationship to end. She brought one of her free hands to her hip and ran a thumb over the bruises to soothe the small subtle ache where the dark marks started to appear. She fixed her Chiton as she tried to continue her task.

"Eurymachus..... I'm working-"

Melantho murmured a bit. As she turned to look back at the dishes she was trying. Key word: trying to wash. Though he always made it difficult to focus on these things.

*He chuckles slightly his earrings making a small sound as he tilted his head more. He smiled and leaned down once more before gently biting down. He didn’t care if she was helping a god, he would do it all the same. He was gentle about it, just leaving bite marks but even then. It was visible.*

“That’ss never stopped me before though? Hasss it, my little lily..?” *He then kissed the bite mark and gave it a little kitten lick.* “Don’t tell me you can’t handle me now, essspecially when you’ve always done ssso well doing ssso, darling..”

A shiver went down the women's spine at the attention he was giving her shoulder area....... Melantho was trying hard to focus on the task at hand but....... Eurymachus was making everything very difficult........ She hummed a bit trying to shake everything off as she tried to pull his hands off her so her job would get done and so she could focus on anything except for him.

"Your i-insatiable"

Melantho murmured as she eventually got a bit frustrated at this whole encounter and placed the plate she was working on down..... Looking over her shoulder at him again.

“Perhaps, I am but.. you would be too if you could love on such a pretty person like you, wouldn’t you? The greed in me is unquenchable because of you, darling.. all because of you.”

*He didn’t let go, except to grab her chin harshly and make her look up at him, almost making her neck crack as he did so.* “But if you really want me to leave you be.. say it now.. I doubt you do.. you’re just as obsessed as me..” *He hissed as his hands pushed into the throat almost like a painful massage to it.*

“Go on, or will you only let out squeakss, mousey..?”

Melantho literally squeaked at that. Her internal instincts telling her to ask him to leave. But she didn't truly want that. Melantho swallowed harshly at that trying to just..... Focus. She felt his hands move on her throat eliciting small mouse like squeaks from her. But she covered them up with a hum before she reluctantly replied.

"n-no. Stay. P-please."

She murmured. Reluctantly placing whatever was in her hand down giving up on trying to work.

“What was that..?” *He teased leaning closer and gripping her neck around this time and gently squeezing. Not enough to hurt but enough to send a message.. a possessive message..* “I don’t think I heard you.. what did you say.. you’re gonna have to speak up..~”

*He 100% heard her. He just wanted to mess with her, wanted to watch her squirm and squeak under his hands, under his gaze. He was not going to let her be quiet when he knew she could be louder..* “You really should speak up, baby..” *He said flashing her a smile, his gold tooth glinting in the light just like his eyes lighting up with mischief.*

“I know you can do it.. cmon baby..”

Just trying to hide the fact that he was getting to her as usual. He knew what he was doing with that specific nickname....... She said louder this time. She was slightly trembling under his touch. But tried to hide the nervousness and flusteredness.
