     Veros sits up with a grunt, touching a hand to his face with a hiss. He looks up at Siaris, vision blurred, his head still aching from what was the worst drink he had of his life. He drops his head back against what he hopes is a bed, conjuring a block of ice to press to his head.

     “I… punched you?” He inquires in disbelief, scoffing. “I am never having Dwarven drinks again. Am I dead? I feel like I should be dead. I feel dead.”

“No, you aren’t dead, thankfully,” He snorts, leaning back in his chair and setting down his book.

“Though, to be honest, for a moment I almost thought you were!” He laughs and then winces, “Gosh, even when wasted, you really, really pack a punch. Do you, er, remember at all what happened to you? Or like, who you got into a fight with?”
