again, i only really like this in a fictional/fantasty context, i won't be posting my own nausea stuff (i'm actually quite emetophobic irl) it's also more of a hurt/comfort thing for me than a kink but regardless it is still a kink.

i don't usually like emeto itself, just the sick tummy and nausea stuff, but you may see it here from time to time. i will make sure to tag it with an emeto cw though if i do (:

also i'm weirdly picky about the nausea kink? i only really like certain types of nausea, that being motion sickness, poisoning, and stomach illnesses. not too big into stuff like morning sickness or hangover :P don't think that matters too much though

also i LOVE hurt/comfort, pretty much everything on here will be in a hurt/comfort context

why is a tight, bloated, sick and achy belly so hot

idk if this is a common trope but I loove when a character feels so nauseous to the point even talking upsets their tummy, so they're forced to go mute. bonus points if their caretaker is stressing / struggling trying to figure out why they're not talking, what's hurting, when they need to be sick, why they might be crying, ect.

i very much enjoy grossly descriptive language when explaining whats going on with someone’s belly. you’re distended? gurgling? churning with the remnants of dinner? i wanna hear about the acid bubbling up and how your belly is rolling with pain. are you dry heaving in panic? are you settled in a food induced haze? i need to knowwwwww

i Love (emeto edition)

😶i love quiet pukers, who have a hand in front of their mouth as they vomit, letting out quiet exhales with every gush. they shut their eyes and their body rocks forward with the heaves. they are helpless, just having to let their stomach have its way, silently barfing it all up until they're empty.

😠i love pukers who are in denial about having to puke. even when they start to let out dangerously wet burps, swallowing hard to keep their stomach contents where they should be. maybe even after they vomit back up into their cup, they insist they're fine -- before loud retching takes hold of them and sick comes bubbling up.

😔i love sickly little pukers who take a long time to vomit. they whine and lay about with no energy, every now and again dry-heaving in your arms. despite their constant queasiness, they take hours to get anything more than sickly sweet saliva out of them. but when they do start to spew, its violent and copious.

🤮i love dramatic pukers who get sick immediately out of nowhere. they have a weak stomach perhaps, or overate, or took one last daring shot of vodka before their guts revolt. after sweetly burping and hiccuping all night, it takes everybody - even them - by surprise when a little burp suddenly ends in a gush of sick alllll over the place. they inhale and try to speak, but their gut clenches and they keep on vomiting helplessly.

I have an OC that I am hyperfixating on right now and it's pretty refreshing to be having hunger thoughts about an OC because I can literally decide anything for him. I even decided that he's a motion sickie and it's so nice because I don't have an evil little bug in my head telling me "well it's out of character for him" because I can decide what is and isn't in character for him. It's honestly great.

Emeto in Cars Appreciation

(tropes that don’t necessarily have to do with motion sickness)

Sickies who would usually slink away to deal with their sickness (or anxiety) in private - how do they cope when that’s not an option?

People in a car together (especially if it’s just two in the front seat) generally try to uphold conversation, which might be extremely hard for a sickie who’s moments away from needing to throw up.

Friends in close quarters might notice something’s up a little sooner than they otherwise would, so the questions and looks of concern arrive more quickly.

Sickies not wanting to be a burden and disrupt everyone’s journey by asking the driver to pull over, so they suffer silently for as long as possible.

Awkwardness if they’re in close proximity with people they don’t know or trust so much.

The heat, motion, or claustrophobia of being in a car could tip their nausea over the edge, even if it was just mild to begin with.

Being stuck in a seat under a seatbelt, not being able to stand up or stretch out.

The smell of food, other bodies, someone’s overpowering perfume, etc. is inescapable. 

Maybe the seatbelt itself is pushing on their stomach and making things worse.

If it’s anxiety-related, the uneasy feeling would only swell and become more urgent as they hurtle closer to their destination.

The desperation in their voice when they ask the driver to pull over. They don’t even need to say what’s wrong - the driver immediately knows what the problem is when they hear “pull over”.

Stumbling on shaky legs to get as far away from the car as possible before doubling over.

The miserable shake of the head when someone gently asks if they’re just motion-sick.

Please feel free to add on your favourite aspects of cars as sickfic/emeto settings.

Thinking about scenarios where the caretaker acknowledges the sickie's empty stomach/appetite a short while after they've thrown up:

Frowning in concern, raising an eyebrow, or chuckling when the formerly sick stomach lets out a deep, hungry growl.

"Feeling better now, are we?" (Said directly to Sickie or to the belly in question.)

"You threw up so much earlier/last night; you must be so hungry."

"Do you want something to eat? You did end up losing your dinner/lunch/breakfast..."

"I got you a snack for later, seeing as how you just completely emptied your stomach."

"I keep forgetting you've technically missed a meal..."

"You should eat something so that your stomach's not completely empty."

"All that puking must have worked up an appetite, right?"

"No wonder you're starving; you threw up until there was nothing left."

"Your poor stomach must feel so cheated out of its (insert meal/food type)."

I feel like most of these work best with tropes like motion sickness, where the nausea will most likely fade as soon as the sickie's environment changes, rather than lingering causes like actual sickness or food poisoning, but I suppose it depends on how much time has passed. Anyway, I hope someone out there can enjoy this product of my insomnia and trash brain 🖤

Person that doesn't normally get motion sickness gets it for the first time in a while, meaning they are completely unprepared and don't know the tricks to make it stop, and their friend or lover helps them through it by rubbing their back and giving them something they could [sick] in if it comes to that point.
