Fiona was so focused on her new haul she barely noticed what was going on around her. Sure, there was a rustling, but the wind was getting heavy and there were plenty of dead leaves around. It was only when she heard somebody call out that she dragged her eyes away from the wreck. Her gaze quickly fell on the gross torso, it’s head half-rotting and a few straggly entrails remaining from its legs. It would’ve been funny if it wasn’t so gross. She rolled her eyes, pulling out her dagger and casually making her way over to the walker. She put a boot firmly between the shoulder-blades, pushing it, snarling, into the dirt before leaning down and driving the blade through what was left of its skull. The rush of adrenaline never got old, and she took her time pulling the dagger back out of the corpse before turning her attention to the stranger who’d given the heads up. “You always hide in the bushes spotting walkers?” she asked, slipping the dagger back into her belt.
Arched brows lowered as the other survivor finally turned, spotting the walker ; but dark browns remained on her and the zombie... until a nice dagger had found a home in its skull. Not a minute after did Ana finally start out of the thicket --- and with her pistol up, aimed at her opposite. The sound of HARD boots hitting dry tar as twigs turned to asphalt ; she moved to stand near the back of the car with sights glued on the stranger. “ Only when other survivors are stupid enough to miss ‘em, ” she retorted ; her tone lower now that the panic was subdued and she was out in the open. A steady finger over the trigger WOULDN’T shoot... as long as her opposite didn’t try anything. “ But I’m sure that one just managed to slip past you, huh? ”
