This jacket in wool and polyester was designed by Rei Kawakubo for Comme Des Garçons collection in 1994.

The inspiration for this piece is of course the traditional masculine evening wear reread with a very particular cut. The stitching lines on either side of the front, below the four buttons closing, form the ends of the gathers that adorn the back making this piece stand out in every outfit.
