12 pages document is ready :)

The class in semester 2 was finished, time ran fast and the first year was finished as well.

During the process of every activity in class, I have learnt a lot and really enjoyed in it. A lot of creativities could be found out during the group work, experience and activity. I was satisfied with the work I did and I hope I can do better and better in the future. Thanks for Georgia and April’s teaching.

The 12 pages document includes the ideas, photography and drawing I got during the process as a contribution, hopefully the layout is good for presenting:)

The last event in the studio, everyone prepared their own experience and ideas, presented in the same area. I was surprised by the design I saw that day, the ideas were new and creative which I had never thought about. Therefore I was inspired a lot during the process.

By the way this was the experience (photos above) we present that day, we used the same idea we had before but made the scale larger that suitable for the event:)

Another activity by classmates, the smoothie was good and fresh, also some lovely stickers could be taken. The atmosphere was pretty nice, I had a feeling that I was in the garden that time haha, and I think the idea was creative ;)

We got the napkins we designed finally, they look really good and show different creative ideas and styles.

My design is a marbling design with a abstractive illustration of Lotus. Lotus is the flower that represents my homecity - Macau 🇲🇴 The colours is also based on the colours of the flag.

The experience by another group, I think the activity was good because we could design our own teabag, also the tea they offered was good :) I love the idea of presenting the feeling using drawing and colors. Great!

This was a big day for our group, because we were presenting others our final experience. We prepared a projective experience, and we put the collage as the actual scale which matched with everyone, then asked them to stand in font of the projector. Therefore, the collage by each of us would be projected on themselves. The value is we are actually the same underneath no matter the prespectives we think and how we look like.

The process was good I think, but actually I felt a bit awkward that time haha because some scale were not matched perfectly and the majority of people were wearing dark colors, so the projection couldn’t quite show to the audiences.

We went to NGV that day, and we got an opportunity to visit somewhere inside. That place was good, and had a lot of amazing booklet there. After visiting that place, I was inspired a lot about binding, content, materials and ways to present. That was helpful for the 12 pages document, also increased my knowledge:)

This was a good day for our team, because this was a little activity we organized before the final experience. We prepared the emojis we designed and asked people to cut and place them on the skeleton to be a collage.The value is how people think the emojis represent the body parts, also people needed to have more imagination when working on it.

Fortunately, the activity was working, everyone enjoyed in it.

Our group met up again, and started to make the art work for the napkin, our idea was an marbling art work using the colours from the flag of our own city, which shows our different nationalities.

This was a little activity I organized just for our team :p We sketched each other, also self- sketching as a collage of food. The value of this activity was find out how different you think you are and from others.

The drawing shows different perspectives, elements and imaginations.

It’s time to organize for making sure everything was alright. In this part, time management skill was really important I think, everything in mind had to be clear, tried to find out way that could do it better and as efficient as possible:)

A food facial activity before the midterm break!!

This was creative but actually I didn’t really enjoy in it because I don’t really like putting food on my face haha😅but the process was good. That time I was using Nicole’s facial which included avocado, yogurt and honey, I had no idea the function was that good for skin, I felt my skin softer and fresher :D

We got a new brief which was design a napkin as a group, we thought that using marbling was a good choice, so we had an experiment during the class time:) We bought some eatable colours and shaving cream. We put some cream on the paper, then added some colours and made it as marbling. After that, we put another paper on top and pressed it. When after taking away the cream, the marbling art work was done!!

During the process was fun, and this was also my first time doing something like this, so I have learnt a new skill and enjoyed in it pretty much.
