“Hm?” Morgan turned around when someone spoke out to her, mentioning looking like his father. “Who exactly is your father?” She asked, figuring it was one of her outrealm twins.
“He is Morgan, son of Chrom. Do you perchance know him?” Elliot’s curiosity was overpowering his urge to shy away. It wasn’t every day that one met someone with such a resemblance to a family member without being one.

“You sort of look like how father would if he were a woman. Just who are you?” It wasn’t often he was confused about something, but this was confusion central.

“I’m sorry, did you say something?” The reason he probably hadn’t heard was because he was so focused on the scone he was currently munching on.

“Since you’ve disrupted the quiet of this room, was there something you needed?” Elliot speaks calmly as he closes his tactical book. Honestly, though, he’d been looking for an excuse not to read it.

“You’ll have to do it, whether you like it or not. It’s your duty,” Clover couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Sure, maybe he didn’t want to be born into royalty, but he was. He had a responsibility. “As long as you focus, you should be fine.”
“You don’t have to remind me.” Talk about adding salt to the wound. If Elliot had a say in the matter he’d opt out of the whole ‘royalty’ thing like it was going out of style. “I-I’ll try, I promise.”
awakenedprince:
“Given time travel is how I first met Morgan, I felt it was appropriate. Also, that meant I could leave Robin to have the talk instead.”
“That’s.. Dodging responsibilities.. Poor father-”
awakenedprince:
“I was joking when I told my kids that babies come from the future. Joking.”
“Why would you even tell them that grandpa? That’s a rather irresponsible thing to do.”
Second hand embarrassment? More like full blown embarrassment. Gods his father took after his grandfather..
“I’m so done.”
“The men in this family are all weird. I’m concerned for my future.”
fourleafing:
“It’s fine. Tomorrow just come back with a clear head,” Clover said running her fingers through her hair. “if you really don’t want to do this.. maybe I can figure a way out.”
“Dancing is like swordplay.. It should come easy to me..” He sighs, “If you could find a way out of it that would be wonderful. I’m not cut out for the royalty stuff that my grandfather and great-aunts had to know..”
fourleafing:
Clover simply raised an eyebrow, but decided not push the subject any further. “Alright, well. We should wait until tomorrow to continue your lessons. Maybe by then you will be able to focus.”
“Perhaps..” Gods, Elliot hated feeling like a failure. “I am sorry though. I don’t know what happened.”
fourleafing:
Clover sighed in frustration and took a step back. “I never said to flinch,” the dancer said, narrowing her eyes at him. “What’s the matter?”
“S-Sorry, sorry, my bad.” It’d been some time since he’d gotten scared like that, he didn’t even know what triggered him either. “I wasn’t thinking.” A lie, but what royal in their right mind said they were afraid of other people?
fourleafing:
Clover took his free hand in hers and turned to face him. “When I put my left foot forward you put your right foot back, and so on, okay?” Clover hoped this was making sense, she was never any good explaining things. “Let’s try it.” She stepped her left foot forward.
“Back as you come forward..” Elliot repeated with a slight nod of his head. Sounded simple enough, it was sort of like swordplay in a way. However, when she moved he flinched away instead of stepping.
fourleafing:
“Of course you won’t,” Clover said placing her right hand slightly below his shoulder blade and lifted her left arm so he could rest his hand on hers. “now, put your left hand a little under my shoulder.”
“Alright..” Elliot breathed but complied, placing his left hand just below her shoulder. This was weird, no wonder he never learned before.
fourleafing:
“If you do it on purpose, I will,” Clover said before sighing. “alright. I’ll teach you the waltz. It’s super easy. I’ll be the lead this time around to show you.”
“I would never purposefully step on someone’s foot. That’s rude.” Elliot mutters, “Okay, uhm... Lead away?”
fourleafing:
“Well, if it didn’t matter than I wouldn’t have been asked.” Clover said, folding her arms. “If you won’t take lessons from me, I’ll ask Miss Olivia to teach you.”
“Fine, fine. But if I trod on your foot you can’t get mad at me.”
