“That’s true.” She said with a smile. “All your typical high school classes.”

“Ah, see that’s the problem. When you get to the university you’ll have more freedom with her classes.” Silhouette said with a smile. “So what’s going on at the high school anyway? Any drama?” She feigned disgust all while keeping a smile.

She nodded. “Same as you. I’m supposed to be doing homework.” She said smiling. “But it’s so boring.” She said with a groan as she sat down across from the girl.

“The only way I motivate myself is by remembering that if I do it now I don’t have to later.” She said giving a sympathetic smile. Yeah and you still aren’t doing it. “What classes are you in?”

     “You know as much as the teachers are trying to enforce how important all this shit is. We all know we are needed for things more important then this.”

       The beast inside him purrs in agreement. Man this was fucking weird. He know that he’s not even part human but he does have a logical side of himself. It just feels like he was meant for more then just textbooks and homework.

“Maybe some people are destined for greater things, but there are others of us who still need to pay bills and get a job.” Silhouette responded to the boy sitting across from her. He seemed irritated and it looked like staying in the library was a huge challenge for him.

“To drop this check off to a friend and then to practice for my team.” Colton said still looking at the other curiously. “And you are?”

“Silhouette.” She stated softly.

“What kind of team?” The girl wasn’’t used to having to ask her many questions one by one. It all seemed increadibly slow.

Silhouette wants a room she can be cozy in. Shades of grey make her feel like she's surrounded by shadows, making her feel as if she's not alone. She has a small collection of books, each reread at least a thousand times and carefully stacked on her shelf. Her clock reminds her to not stay up too late reading or writing; and her blanket is always tossed on the chair so she can grab it as soon as she gets to the room.

“What?” Averee questions when she notices someone staring at her. When she doesn’t respond and just stands there staring she beings to become irritated. “What?” She says again, slightly louder and more harsh, hoping to prompt a response.

Silhouette shook her head.

“What? Nothing...” she said as she walked off. Once she was well hidden behind a wall she slipped into the shadows. From there she made her way to the girl, traveling from shadow to shadow as they overlapped here and there. She had been planning on not invading other’s privacy, as many liked to call it, but she couldn’t help herself. 

In no time at all she found herself in the girl’s shadow. At first it seemed easy to read her thoughts. No wonder, she projects them, Silhouete thought to herself. However as she searched Averee’s head, she found it was hard to hear anything than her current thoughts, as they were powerfully loud. Great, I broke my resolution for someone I can’t even read. 

Silhouette came out from the shadow scaring Averee.

Silhouette was sitting down at table outside of the conservatory. She was writing furiously into a notebook. She heard someone approach and snapped the book close before turning to face them. 

“Hey there.”

                              Jack waved at the girl with an easy smile on his lips. He was curious when he saw the girl writing something down intensely, so he approached her. “What are you doing?” He asks bluntly, he was just too energetic and wild to beat around the bush.    SILHOUETTE PARA

“Just some homework,” Silhouette said as she slipped the notebook into her satchel. She wondered at the boy’s enthusiasm. To her, it seemed far too early in the morning to be that energetic. 

“How do you have so much energy?”

“I’m so sorry,” Rin said quickly as he pulled away from the person that had bumped into. “I should have watched where I was going.” He said as he slipped his hand in his pocket and then took it out to pat the person on the shoulder. “I hope I didn’t hurt you or anything.” He said as he looked over them worriedly.

Silhouette had been playing with the shadows on the walls, shifting them so that the shadows of their zombie-like owners were filled with life. In doing so she didn’t see the guy she walked right into. 

“Oh! I’m so sorry! It’s my fault!” She blubbered out.

I only walked from home to the store and back and it’s not in the sore or at my house..it has to be somewhere between…

“Please, lead the way.” Silhouette packed her notebook into her satchel and motioned for the girl to begin walking. Her morning had been too dull for her liking anyway.

Averee || Open

She hadn’t been back for long. Showing up randomly in the middle of the night before the new semester started.

She entered the courtyard to find a bunch of unassuming freshman sitting under her tree, she quietly approached them with a coy smile, but when she spoke, her voice was laced with something else, not quite malice but definite intent.

“You want to get up and leave the courtyard.” She says, eyes intense as her pupils dilate.

She smiles happily as they all suddenly think it’s their idea to go do something else. She takes a seat beneath the big oak tree and and closes her eyes, enjoying the breeze coming off the lake.

“Home sweet home.” She mutters to herself.

Silhouette saw the girl say something to those freshman, prompting them to leave quickly. She was curious what the girl had said but she wasn’t about to ask. The other girl seemed to be in a bad mood and that was something Silhouette wanted to take no part in. She was about to leave when the girl looked right at her, stopping Silhouette in her tracks.

Hi. sorry to interrupt you I just can’t find my necklace anywhere. Have you seen it? It’s gold and as sea shell pendant and it’s super important I find it…

“No, I’m sorry.” The girl seemed wrecked with anxiety, it was obvious the necklace was important to her. “Where have you been today, maybe I can help you look for it?”

“Hello….” Colton looked at the other strangely and took a few steps back in precaution. He was taking something to a son of one of his employees and now he was departing the school, or trying to. 

Silhouette didn’t know much about Colton, and that made her curious. However, he seemed a bit agitated, prompting her to give him a smile. 

“Where are you headed?” She inquired.

Nora was walking around. As usual she was procrastinating doing any work which lead her to often wander around. “Hi!” She said with a smile. “What were you writing? You seemed really into it.”

“Oh it’s nothing, just some homework.” She lied, “What brings you here?” Silhouette looked towards Nora’s shadow for just a second before looking back at her face. She was desperate for a story; she hadn’t jumped into anyone’s shadow in what seemed like forever.

Silhouette gave the girl a fake smile and a slight eyebrow raise at her one of those people remark; ignoring it for the most part because she knew about Hensley’s bad temper, and because they were roomates.

Faye looked at the girl, her smile never fading. “Oh well of course! ”

The woman seemed to float through the Ales as she directed herself to the tea section. The circular display table contained an array of colorful tea boxes and on top of it all, on it’s own pedestal, was the homemade pouches of teas sitting proudly under it’s own spotlight. 

It could be obvious to anyone who came in contact with her that she loved her job. The shop was her life ever since she came to Shadow Springs. 

Delicate hands picked up a silk pouch that smelled deliciously like a rain forest and a strawberry field. “you should try the Rain tea!” She handed the girl the pouch “It’s a mix of fresh strawberry leaves and a couple other secret ingredients” she said with a playful wink. “It’s said to help concentration and energy” she added.

Silhouette marveled at the womans energy. She longed to hop in the woman’s shadow and discover the source of it all. No, she reminded herself, people don’t like me invading their privacy.

She accepted the pouch with care, taking in its refreshing scent.

“This smells lovely! How much?”

“Hello sunshine, what brings you to Zielarnia so early?” Faye smiled brightly as she maneuvered her way through the store.

“I was just finishing up a run when I figured I’d stop by here before I headed back.” Silhouette felt a bit embarresed by her sweaty running clothes and ragedy ponytail. Pulling out her hair to redo her ponytail she asked Faye, “You wouldn’t hapen to have restocked your tea selection would you?”

Hensley pulled up a chair and sat in front of the girl as if she had been invited. “Hey there! What’s all that scribbling for?” she smiled her head lightly titled to the side. 

The girl put up her feet on the table as she leaned back against the chair.  “The day hasn’t even started and im EXH-AUSTED!” she spoke in an over dramatic sigh.

Silhouette gave a small laugh in response to Hensley’s dramatic tone. 

“Oh it’s nothing, just some homework for my literary analysis class.” In reality the girl was working on a novel she’d been writing for a while. She quickly tried to change the subject to eliminate any threat of Hensley looking into it.

“Why are you so tired?”
