You know, at first I was going to say that I have no idea what to add that hasn't already been said, but then I something just occurred to me.

I know we're all kinda 🥴 about dadzig trying to push Katherine on Henry because he "can do with a bit of mothering," but I just realized why he does that. Not the mothering part, that part is still weird, but rather, Katherine herself.

Because she's the equivalent to the person he himself was denied. Or rather, that he denied himself / was forced to deny himself on account of societal norms. It's "you can be with this peasant girl where I couldn't. Why wouldn't you want that?" Not realizing that his son is already balls deep in a lord and taking not after his father but his mother!!!

I realize that this is me effectively firing a bombard at a hornets' nest, but I just really think we shouldn't conflate headcanons with morality. Headcanoning a character as one sexuality over another should not give you a moral leg up over other people. That idea is absolutely and utterly absurd and also, quite frankly, extremely gross to me.

I don't care if you see Hans as bisexual, that is your business. It becomes my business when I see people going around arguing that viewing him as comphet gay a) is biphobic erasure or b) in any way lessens his love for Henry because the sample size is smaller.

Gay love isn't less special than bi love and to imply otherwise is honestly just straight up homophobic. Hans chooses Henry regardless. A comphet gay interpretation of Hans isn't coming from a place of misogyny, it's coming from a place where that representation is just as valid and as special and as beautiful as an interpretation of him as bisexual.

Some takes I'm seeing about S3 are absolutely insane. Of course you're allowed to hate it, but the way some of you speak looks as if you would have wanted Gihun to throw the baby and live.

And, really, what makes you different from the VIPs betting on "who deserves it more", just for your entertainment?

The point of the serie is that, despite everything, humanity can go on through small (or big) acts of kindness, if it doesn't work through resistance, then resilience it is.

And btw, even if Gihun managed to get out of there alive, he would have never recovered from that. Not after Jungbae, not after Inho, not after the baby, not after Daeho. He would have been an hollow shell. The only way I would have seen him live, would have been by accepting Inho's proposal and becoming his second in command. But that would have mean to give up on his humanity. And don't think I wouldn't have liked that (I've been an Hannigram fan since 2013, that says it all), but it would have been a WAY more depressing ending than what we actually got, cause it would have mean that Inho was right, that enough evil can turn everyone away from being kind.
