This is Max, who is usually the one you’ll be talking to with Vox. He’s not a great guy, but he does like helping people sometimes.

And this is Virgie, or Vered, who is more or less his A.I. but can force her way into control of the actual body. Virgie is the more...aggressive. She’s very protective of what she deems hers, and she will absolutely cause chaos, given how she’s more often than not just inhabiting the cyberspace. Two sinners, one body. They were in a lavender marriage in life, and died same time, same fashion, so God played a cruel joke, and now they’re very much stuck together.

It was odd to get cryptuc texts from her boss. No not really but the warning tone was a bit new... And from what she picked up-- not at all good

It’s late evening by the time she gets a text from her boss again. [Text]: Safe. Screens should be. Safe. Followed by a selfie, with the text, You had to snap back at him didn’t you?

That familiar screen is in pieces, the still functioning pieces garishly colored in the no signal colors, down to one eye. [Text]: Angel is out of commission. And with how angry Val was when he left, I don’t think Angel will be in commission for a good minute.
