LMAO The fucking FACT the Hydra kit is the ONLY set that comes close to an actual Sims 4 Kit in terms of inclusions for the $5 and it's the most chopped lookin shit I've had to witness. How are the other, more known and larger name creators putting out like 2 items for $5 but someone who looks like they are new beat them out in quantity?

Also I do want to point out the weird restrictiveness of the program for creators basically kinda disallowing non-MM (Maxis Mix or Alpha) styled content is kinda weird.

This chop of a set that is nowhere near MM exists and most of the creator kits hardly keep to EA's style so IDK why EA is being super restrictive of what style their submitting creators make. It's just weird, especially when you consider that a lot of Anti-Alpha sentiment and the discourse about the style often plays into heavy anti-blackness and people tend to use it as a cover to be pretty racist. Also considering that they pulled a number of black primarily Alpha focused creators like Ebonix to help them with their skintone situation, makeup situation, even that Y2K theme CAS kit you'd think they wouldn't have a problem with Alpha or Maxis Mix CC at least on the Marketplace too. but maybe I'm being that too woke friend... IDK

I LOVE that you edited the Royalty & Legacy fences to have no flowers - would you ever consider doing the same to that Enchanted by Nature one? Thanks for all that you do! :)

The Sylvan Spiral one? Short of entirely reconstructing the fence, it's not possible to remove the florals. The R&L one with the flowers all over reused textures from the column and the other fence and had been fully modeled under (also had no textures of its own so no shadows to have to painfully erase out.)

Royal Pain - Royalty & Legacy Fences Without Flowers

For all the recycling of assets they gave us in this pack they really couldn't take the 2 seconds to recycle these fences so they didn't have flowers attached to them? Whatever lol. I removed all the florals so now you can have some plain fences to build with.

Wonderland - Fantasy Flamingo Chair

Saw this on the kid's activity table from the wonderland kit and needed it as a chair for maximalist builds - Quickly liberated it. Made the neck a little longer so that it doesn't look awk as hell.

COACH Blouson Edit and Recolour

The one thing that disappointed me with the COACH update is honestly the lack of swatches and hardware options and this cute blouson not being unisex HELLO?! So... I fixed it. I did the (Pain in the MF ass) process of converting the jacket to male frames and I also made some recolours. The Male Jacket has 16 Swatches - 8 with Gold hardware and 8 with Silver hardware. I did not keep the Tartan print cause I find it rug ugly. It's a new model. It's not perfect but I tried so... whatever As an extra and because it was kinda dead simple, I added the new recolours and silver hardware version as separate recolours to the female version. I also recoloured the skirt to match because it was a matching set and I hate not having matching sets (even if I'll never use it)

They'll show up with the COACH Icon and have all the original tags so they show up with the rest of the collection. PSDs are also available - I also added the one for the Signature jeans I did prior. Enjoy

COACH Raver Pants Recolors

The Coach update kinda slapped. If only they did 2 COACH fashion kits rather than that spongebob abomination. Anyway, I like the first swatch of the jeans but wanted more colours. So I made em. They're there. T-E Male only (I think. I don't play female sims so Idk if they work and don't look like a garbled mess) They did retain the cool COACH thumbnail effect so yay. Download

More Subtle Cubemaps

So Cubemaps are used in Sims 4 to give some level of simulated reflection on shiny objects. it's a common thing used in a lot of games and when done right, shinier objects can really pop. Sims 4's cubemaps are a little too intense and have an opposite effect of making items look really plastic-ey rather than giving that subtle and nice oomph that makes objects look natural. the only other mod I've seen to do with cubemaps was one that removed them, and while it was fine for most items, it had a negative effect of some things like glass, metals and things that relied on the cubemap to fake depth (Like the container walls from Eco) look really flat. So my solution was simple. I replaced the cubemaps and toned down the brightness to make it look a little more subtle, so that reflective items had that nice shine but the whole room didn't turn into a saran wrapped nightmare.

I might come back to this and make a more intense variation because while this result is nice, I know some people might prefer a higher intensity than what I wound up making. Might not, depends on my mood tbh.

Not to be too mean on main but ... EA's marketing team needs to stop doing the creator kits dirty "Mix charming prairie fashion and vintage pieces" Where? I'm sorry but nothing here screams vintage to me and I have an enjoyment of vintage fashion. Like I would have described this as "Summer Picnic" tbh.

Borderline is putting that shit NICELY Highlight reel of my favorite Waffle moments had to be 1. When he called Inzoi chinese spyware (The company behind it is Korean) and tried to brush it off as "a joke" when called out for his sinophobia and xenophobia.

2. His antisemitic implications that a simguru (it was Lyndsay) he didn't like was a lizard

3. Anytime the conversation would be about alpha vs mm he always had the most derogatory things to say about alpha creators, using examples and images from primarily black creators to say those derogatory things and his commentary always came off extremely racially charged about black creators.

In all these situations, Creator Musings Moderation basically downplayed his behavior, refused to moderate him and refused to hold him accountable for anything. Opting to coddle him and seemingly ban anyone who questioned that shit or got into it with Waffle. Their reasoning I supposedly got for why he's so coddled there is that "he makes so many contributions to the community via his mods"

Waffle's been a full fucking racist/sexist/xenophobe/etc for a while and he gets coddled by the moderation of that group. I'm glad I got kicked from there especially cause I got kicked for dragging that musty ass white trash Waffle. Honestly the moderation and people who protected his ugly nasty stank ass need to be held to account for covering for that toxic pile of shit.
