same as v1, i asked some of my favourite designers from around the world to come up with an idea for a video game and then design a logo for that game. we collated the amazing results and put them in a magazine with interviews and features with some of the most talented people in the games industry today.
this one has 20 more pages than the last and again was much more work than i thought it would be and im very grateful for everyone’s amazing submissions and their huge patience and time. really happy with how this one came out.
i got to speak with Justin Ma from Subset Games, the creator of one of my favourite games of all time, Into the Breach about his life and how he works.
the unbelievably talented @dreamfeelx spoke to me a little about how her studio makes award-winning games and what it’s like to be a dev from ireland.
we were extremely lucky to be allowed to feature the amazing work of concept artist Sheng Lam who, in his own words “draws hard surface stuff.”
i spoke for over an hour with the humble genius Jack King-Spooner about his intricate, beautiful games. an actual joy of an experience tbh
Now a regular feature, musician, artist and internet person @leyawn gave me his top 5 tracks from video game osts.
and @groupcritpowerdynamics permitted me to put into print some of her amazing speedrun series of drawings after i randomly emailed her out of the blue
