Everyone wants to play the blame game. I can’t do this or I can’t do that. They spend so much time thinking of reasons why shit can’t get done, instead of just doing it. My dad was a 1st Class Asshole to me when I was a kid, but the one thing he did right. He taught me was to work. Forced me to do things right, and redo them if they were not perfect. Until it light a light inside me that made me do things that way on my own. So if you really want better things and a better life? The only thing standing in your way is You. The 15 minutes you spend blaming somebody else or blaming it on a lack of equipment. That could have been 15 more minutes of work getting done. My favorite story about when I started @westcoastchoppers When I first opened the shop I started going in about 8:30am or 9am. Shop was 10 miles away. I would notice all the cars on the clogged freeway were old beat up vans, Toyota Corolas, station wagons ect ect. Then one day I had to meet somebody at the shop at 6am one day. I noticed all the cars on the freeway were BMWs, Mercedes, new Ford Superdutys with shines new service beds. No traffic and everyone was Hauling ass to get to Work. Success is that Simple.
