How often do you update lumity band AU?? That fanfic is PURE GOLD

It all depends on how much time I have to be honest with you. 

I try to update it at least once or twice a week, but the updates have probably slowed down since school just started up for me again :,)

But I try to write new chapters as fast as I can to update as quick as possible!

Okay so like, some people are saying that like YBOS will take place a little after AOAW and honestly I’m hoping it does. 

Because if we just immediately start the episode immediately where we left off with Luz sobbing, curled up in the doorway as she struggles to tell King and Hooty what happened to Eda, I will not be able to get through the episode.

THE FACT EDA WITH NO HESITATION JUST WENT TO SAVE LUZ, THEN FOUGHT AGAINST HER OWN SISTER DESPITE THE FACT HER CURSE WAS EASILY AGGRAVATED

AND THE ANIMATION FOR THAT FIGHT, OH MY GOD THAT WAS SO NICE. THEN THERE WAS LUZ TRYING TO WARN EDA HALFWAY THROUGH, AND EDA JUST DOESN’T CARE

AND DESPITE THE FACT SHE’S WEARING HERSELF OUT, SHE’S LIKE “I’ve always been better than you! Well then ain’t it sad you can’t beat me at my worse!” HOLY 

YA’LL HAVE NO IDEA HOW HARD MY STOMACH DROPPED WHEN LILITH YELLED AT EDA AND ASKED WHY SHE WAS SO EASY TO CURSE

THE LOOK OF BETRAYAL IN HER EYES, THEN THE RAPID FIGHT THAT FOLLOWED

OH MY GOD AND THE ENDING

THE FACT LILITH WAS GOING TO KILL LUZ IF SHE SHOVED HER DOWN ON THE SPIKES ENOUGH, AND EDA USING UP THE LAST BIT OF HER MAGIC TO SAVE HER

AND THEN HER SPEECH TO LUZ LEFT ME BLINDED WITH TEARS, I ACTUALLY HAD TO PAUSE THE EPISODE AND TRY TO RECOLLECT MYSELF FOR A MINUTE SO I COULD SEE (That was useless by the way)

THE FACT THAT THE ENTIRE TIME EDA WAS SLOWLY SLIPPING, EDA JUST SMILED, DESPITE THE FACT SHE’S IN PAIN AND SLOWLY FALLING INTO A FATE WORSE THAN DEATH, THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY TO COMFORT LUZ AND SHE DID IT CAUSE SHE KNEW IT WAS PROBABLY THE LAST TIME LUZ WAS GONNA SEE HER LIKE THAT, SO SHE WANTED IT TO BE A LITTLE NICER THAN JUST TEARS AND SORROW.

THEN LUZ WALKING BACK TO THE OWL HOUSE ALONE, AND THE BACKGROUND IS PLAYING THE DISTORTED END CREDITS HURT ME SO MUCH LIKE-

OH GOD AND LUZ’S REACTION

SHE WAS ALREADY ON THE BRINK OF TEARS WALKING HOME ALONE, THEN WHEN SHE GOT TO THE OWL HOUSE AND SAW THEY WERE GONNA THROW HER A PARTY AND KING POPPING OUT AND ASKING WHERE EDA WAS

YOU COULD SEE IT ALL JUST HIT HER LIKE A BUS

oh god she probably blames herself. she’s probably thinking about how if she didn’t try to get her the hat, Eda would still be safe at home and not fully cursed in the hands of the Emperor...

not to mention the fact the credits were super serious too like... I always jam out to the credits no matter what, but that one was just silence

Me, thinking about Wing it Like Witches after scrolling through Twitter and finding everyone canceling Boscha/ coming up with theories with what’s gonna happen between her and Amity.

Also me, noticing Boscha and her teams outfits: Boots with spikes

Me: Oh, that’s pretty dangerous like... she could really hurt someone if she wanted

idea comes to mind

Me: So like, what if she just snaps and goes to kick Luz in the face... then Amity gets between them and manages to stop her in time, and that’s where we get to see Luz blushing at Amity

My brain: Draw it... now

OKAY LOOK I’M A MAJOR LEVEL OF DUMB

I’m doing screenshot redraws of Amity from Grom (specifically the part where she faces her fear) And I thought to myself “So does Amity think she doesn’t have a chance with Luz at all? Like, we’ve seen both her siblings hit on Luz and Luz get all blushy about it so I don’t get it....” 

And then I realized it’s because Amity only saw Edric flirting with Luz in Lost in Language and Luz getting all blushy because of it

She didn’t see Luz give the same reaction when Emira did it because she stormed off

She thinks Luz is straight, and therefore, wouldn’t have a chance

And I’m stupid for forgetting that

I swear the brainrot is getting to me, I’m forgetting that everything we see on screen isn’t what all the characters see.

Does Amity know that Luz has to leave eventually???

Like, I’m suffering from major brainrot rn, but I don’t remember a point where like, it’s said in front of Amity that Luz is leaving eventually

I mean, King and Eda know because their the ones that have to take her home. And I can assume that Willow and Gus know because of Really Small Problems where King says “I know you have to leave eventually.” and they could know from previous encounters. 

But for the life of me I can’t remember if Amity knows or not. 

Good god, what if she doesn’t know...

Imagine the slap to the face that’d be, realizing not only that Luz may leave and never come back, but she’s her only real friend for the first time in years, and she’s managed to fall for her hard...

Now imagine she finds out Luz leaves at grom (I’m looking at you new promo art)
