hi lovelies i am back after a big ol' break... personal stuff incoming!

if you remember, i had to take time away due to my grandad passing around 2 and a half years ago. at that time i just didn't feel like i could play anymore, or find joy in anything really... since then i have healed and changed dramatically as a person. sadness, grief and trauma truly teach you so many important life lessons. but, in some ironic sense of self, i find myself here on simblr again after losing another family member: my nan. she passed at the beginning of this month and while i am absoloutely heartbroken, i can honestly hold my head high and say i feel... better? watching her become increasingly sick was the worst 2 years of my life. and i am so overwhelmed with a sense of 'this is meant to be', knowing that they are back together again. this time forever. but of course i still have my sad moments. losing my grandparents has been like ending a chapter of my life. i'm nearly 30 but it's like i just ended my childhood. they were such a core piece of me. such a monumental, massive part of my day to day life and a huge chunk of my entire being. it kind of feels like a huge black hole in my heart. so understandably, i have been craving lots of comforts and nostalgia. so here i am, again. nearly a decade after starting this blog, jumping into a new legacy. saying that, i dont know if this is going to be a proper story telling or just casual gameplay. i really have no clue. but i would love if you could stick around, and most of all, welcome this slightly lost and kinda old simmer back into the community with open arms, cause i could really use a hug!

my partner has returned to college to study games production so i had to completely wipe my pc so he can work on it. however i am getting a new pc next week(ish), so i can finally play and record again!!

the world is testing me i swear

i got early access to the new ep for the 1st time in YEARS, i think the last time was back when the creator network was the game changers

but my nan, bless her, fell and hit her head, so we’ve all been worried sick about her all day and i’ve been unable to play!! shes back from hospital now thank goodness but i’ll be visiting her later so i wont have any play time to make content till tomorrow
