Developing in capitalist society is so draining mentally, morally, physically, and emotionally for so many people.

I despise the morals we’re forced to accept in order to prosper here.

We’ve become so accustomed to use and deceive one another for a personal end. And the norms we’ve developed ostracize us from each other even more.

“You’ve gotta look out for yourself!” “Come in first place!” “There’s no future for failures!” “Don’t let others drag you down!” “There is no free lunch!” “I gotta make money!” “No one is ever truly your friend.” “You can’t make everyone in the world happy!”

This worshipping of the self – this ethic of volatile individualism – is putrid and inhuman. And anytime anyone rebels against this, we receive an onslaught of “you fuckin liberal commie,” “youre idealistic and illogical,” “when you get older you’ll know the real world,” “why are you spending so much money on other people? They won’t do the same for you!”

Is it wrong to cooperate instead of compete? Is it wrong to be honest instead of deceitful? Is it wrong to help instead of being alone? Is it wrong to want to wipe away all of these restrictions – like money, borders, or politicians – that keep us separate from each other in favor of being at each others throats and desperately fucking each other over to survive? Is it wrong to be generous?

And all of that is shrugged off as “that’s just how the world’s always been?”

Fuck that.

I want a world where we help each other out of genuine generosity. For us to group up and tend to each others needs out of pure solidarity. For us to enrich people’s lives for enrichment’s sake instead of profit or influence.

I want a world where we all have self reliance and unity while woven together by duty and camaraderie. A world where we live and think as individuals but work together as collectives. A world void of money, politicians, hierarchy, and borders and replaced with federations that involve everyone, a gift economy and free social programs so no one can be without necessities, along with individual and collective direct action and democracy to solve any and all problems immediately.

I want a world made from each person according to their abilities and desires, and a world made for each person according to their needs and wants.
