So I got the sacred task of posting Fakejay`s farewell message. Here we go. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi~~~ it’s fakejay here. I’ve been wanting to type a farewell and tie up loose strings but as the days went by, I just didn’t see the point of writing one. Thought I’ll type it now since I have time else it might be put off forever.
If you followed me, most of you would know that I deactivated a few weeks back (4th Sept) and that was due to an anon sending my name into my ask. Y'all probably can’t imagine, but it is definitely scary to be low-key threatened with your own identity having the risk of being exposed. I don’t know what the anon wants but if the anon is reading this, contact me. I won’t be scared off so easily. If it was a lighthearted-no-ulterior-motive kind of joke, I don’t mind it. If it was meant to scare me, I still hope that the anon will contact me. Assuming you know me IRL that’s why you know my name and can recognise me, you would also have viewed the NSFW side of tumblr and is there really a difference between content posters and content viewers??
Prior to this anon scare, I already had plans of ending fakejay. I felt that tumblr was getting boring, messages were mostly guys soliciting sex/fap material. Think of it as waking up and opening tumblr to see messages from 15-45 blogs, averaging on 28-35 every morning. I would reply, and would constantly receive replies back throughout the day. If they couldn’t get sex from me, they’d try to make friends. I’ve repeated this many times, but I’ll say it one last time. Think about this. Why, would I want to be friends with you? Why would any of the girls/guys on here want to be friends with you?? They have their personal life, their real life friends, meeting up with you for a dinner doesn’t constitute/automatically make yall “real life” friends okay?? Like give me a reason why I would want to befriend you, when there are A TON of other guys asking for the same thing. Differentiate how you are different from the other people here. Also, instead of spending your time asking for sex from tumblr ppl, how about you brush up on your skills and learn to approach a girl IRL??
For example, “Hey, you’re really attractive. I’m Brandon, can I get your number?”
Learn to groom yourself and present and carry yourself well, ask in a sincere and NON-creepy/weird way and you’ll have a higher chance of success. Y'all guys don’t have balls to approach a girl irl and yet online you can say ballsy stuff like
“hey I’d like to show you a good time”
or “you’re really hot, dtf?” Don’t be whining and insisting I give you a chance and try you out and telling me you’re wayyy better than the other guys. Just, no. Hella turn off.
And don’t be sending unsolicited dick pics. Guys enjoy receiving faceless boobs/pussy but girls don’t enjoy it. It’s just a faceless dick without a personality attached to it. Same goes for sending me your supposedly hot bodies, the abs or v line, ok, seeing five guys is like ok, after seeing it so many times I’m just numbed and your abs aren’t any different to the next guy. Yes you trained hard in the gym and I think that’s good and all, now go train picking up girls IRL and FOR THE LOVE OF ALL, COME UP WITH ORIGINAL AND SUITABLE PICK UP LINES.
It’s funny cause first, people complain that sg girls aren’t open minded enough or about the lack of sg girls on this platform, and when girls do start posting original content, we have to face/deal with the guys desperate for sex? Why is there a slut label attached to us for posting these when y'all are fapping/enjoying our content? To the hateful anon that kept sending drama in in July, why do I have to be ashamed of my content? Everyone (normal) has lust, husbands and wives have sex for recreation and procreation too, thats porn too. Us tumblr girls aren’t exactly posting our identity and sending out mass invites to be a fucktoy. Also, why is it socially acceptable to hear guys boast of their experiences but it’s shameful and slutty for a girl to even admit she has had ANY sort of experience?? I really don’t understand it and I can only attribute it to our society’s mindset.
I started posting on tumblr because I was insecure of my body since young, family had body shamed me and called me fat since I was in primary school, and newsflash, when you hear something long enough, you start to believe it. Asian culture picks on your weaknesses and downplays your strengths. I always found myself to be plain, average, and never the kind of girl that guys would look at. Subconsciously, I thought that I could post anonymously on tumblr and perhaps gain assurance. On the forefront of my consciousness though, I posted simply because it was fun and intriguing to have ppl comment and tell me if they like the content, without them knowing who I was.
Tumblr started getting boring when girls in the community started leaving one by one, the few I can recall off the top of my head now are tittiecookie, sghairychinesegirl, kinkyayla, uniq0rn. It got boring because I felt a bond with 🦄, we had both climbed the tumblr ladder together, amassing a wider following. She was at 800 when I was at 100-300(I can’t rmb exactly) and I rmb when we first started talking, that WOW I can’t even imagine having 800 followers. Now get me, I’m not the type of person to place any importance on the follower count on twitter, insta, or anywhere else. I think it’s shallow, and I get a little annoyed with people who just keep asking you to follow back. Like, is that number really so important???
PS: I had wanted some girl fun and I DMed yellowsweethoney and uniq0rn to see if they would be willing to play. I was sad when honey rejected me, but I get it, she wanted to protect her identity(look how important that is) and super thrilled that uniq0rn even replied me. She had a really cool personality and I felt special that she would reply me. She was like “A TUMBLR GIRL” and I was just someone viewing the content, but soon after I started posting, I crossed the invisible unspoken gates and entered the sg tumblr girls community.
On tumblr, I explored physical pleasure with a few guys/girls and even though half of them were regretfully bad/unworthy fucks, the other half were pretty good. I also got myself tested thoroughly recently (DSC) and am in the all clear. To everyone, please stay safe and use protection okays. Consent is also important, get it right. Some of you might enjoy upskirts/toilet/fitting room videos, but do understand that those are without consent. Would you want someone to spy on you in such a way and share it with anyone else to see?? Really guys, don’t encourage such behaviour. I also think it’s extremely immature when I see posts of a girl and her face/compromising nudes with the caption of “reblog and I’ll give her contact/name/social media”, or even “for slut webcams, click here”. She didn’t even want to be shown in such a light.
Throughout my tumblr journey, 🦄 doesn’t know this, but I envied her relationship with her followers, they would send in many asks and talk to her on her wall, and it was nice how she updated mini posts on her day, and how encouraging and sweet her followers were. I wanted that sort of relationship with my followers too, but I mostly received DMs for sex/sexting. Back to the followers, she got to 8k followers? And I got to 9k. I’m thankful for all the support I’ve received from followers and I can’t believe how far I got. I think I was just waiting to hit 10k and end my blog there, but I guess ending it prematurely due to the anon scare is fine too. I’m just a very sentimental person and it’s a pity to deactivate and lose the name I’ve built for myself. Someone told me, even though the blog is gone, my name will be remembered. But I don’t know how many of my followers remember me? Look at the influx of new sg female and couple bloggers there are recently in month of September alone. You guys follow so many other girls and I’m just another one.
Having left tumblr, it was really weird for me cause there was a sudden void, I was used to logging into tumblr constantly(I was unemployed, note all the free time I had). Now, I find tumblr super boring. No offense to all the new bloggers in the sg community, your content isn’t the boring thing, I actually follow quite a few of the newcomers. The boring part is just that the people that I know are mostly inactive, so the camaraderie is not felt. There’s no more urge to check tumblr anymore. Tumblr really is an addiction, each post is like a drug. Since I killed the real jay(inside joke) and created the fakejay AND ended her as well, I decided to spring clean my external chats (LINE Telegram WeChat) and am only keeping the closest or people that I have a bond with. Those that I cleared, some didn’t annoy me but got cleared as well, just hope you understand that I’m done with tumblring.
Just a short appreciation for the people that I met from tumblr, yall come from different walks of life and ages and have taught me quite a bit.
