#oh yeah enderal is executed SO WELL as a tragedy. like. there are no good options. you see the hopelessness of your choices every step of--#--the way but you keep makign them anyway because what else can you do?? because you're a person and you're alive and you cant help but--#--want to make things work. want to make things better. want to fight and survive and help others do the same #idk enderal's treatment of the human condition both inspires me and makes me want to argue at some points #but it's a beautifully set up tragedy. the foreshadowing done through the Aged Man is excellent #and i still choose brave new world or the dreamflower ending bc i like the insight into a selfish side of the characters i play as #but it's very clear that there is no good ending in this game and it's a great tragedy #enderal

My Arkt drawingof last year - this one is from one of Azuriel's spooky dreams. I'd like to emphasize his 'mentoring' role for Azuriel by appearing in visions and dreams for the Shadowborn. (As it was hinted in an Enderal book "A strange friend'.) And when the circumstances require more definite interference than dreams - in those occasions he appears as a different person (illusion disguise) to nudge the things into the direction at will... Let's be clear, he is not really the person of straightforwardness and clear instructions in the beginning, (which Az doesn't really like and struggles to get accustomed to) although he obviously had his own reasons. (Proof testing).
