Today was the first time I’ve been on the rail heading home where I have looked left towards the downtown Seattle skyline (just before heading under Beacon Hill) and thought, with vehement disgust, “Fuck you”.

Now it’s September 2022, post pandemic. Started going back into the office in April of this year. The first few times going back into downtown to work in the office I was thinking something like “I’m excited to see you again, downtown. But please let’s never go back to our toxic work relationship, k thanks <3”

I’m in a British style pub and beach house is playing and it SOUNDS like a pub with all the post work people.
