Hello all. I am finally joining social media. The internet fascinates me and you all seem like wonderful people! :)

I have been a proud Catholic all my life. I come in peace and only want to spread the gospel. God is good and I believe everyone can benefit from his beautiful, divine presence.

I love birds and small animals. They are so cute and I love taking care of them!

I used to be a ballerina, though that was decades ago. I haven't danced in years. Devoting yourself to Christ is a busy job.

Clamburg may be unwelcoming to most, but I believe this can be remedied. Everyone and everything deserves a chance.

Crows keep appearing near my home. Sometimes groups of them... or, "murders" of them, I suppose. I love birds, but I don't like this. They represent death. Perhaps this is a sign. I hope it isn't.

[OOC post. Here is Sister Farah from Marnie's first entry! I'm planning on drawing more of her Sisters in the (hopefully near) future.]

[Farah is 56 years old, constantly grumpy, and very strict to the others. This is usually annoying, but it's not a complete flaw. She absolutely hates beating around the bush and thinks it's completely unnecessary, so if you need advice, she will be brutally honest and knock some sense into your head. She's lived for over five decades, so she knows a thing or two. She didn't exactly get this way from nothing.]

Journal Entry #2

I'm not sure if I regret moving here or not.

I fear I'm starting to feel... homesick. I didn't think this would happen. I'm glad to have a break from the church, but did I really have to choose this town of all towns?

For the first time in years, I am alone. I don't know anyone who lives here and I don't have my Sisters to accompany me. The loneliness is starting to get to me.

I have been reflecting much more than I usually do. All this time alone makes it easy for my mind to wander back to old memories. I know the Lord has a plan for me, but... my faith is wavering. Maybe I shouldn't have moved. Maybe this was all a mistake.

But the Lord doesn't make mistakes. I'm here for a reason. I just have to trust him, even if it's hard.

Guilt and grief are terrible, but unavoidable things. I'm afraid I can't escape them, especially now. I hate death and everything that comes with it. It's a creation of the devil.

I wish things would get easier by now. In my old church, I would visit the cemetery when I felt... regretful. It would bring me some sort of clarity. I'm not sure why. Perhaps I should try that again.

I'm sure things will be okay eventually.

I was attacked by a creature and almost got my foot ripped off. Why didn't I move to Tinspit.

My foot is fine but I had to bandage it. This town may be harder to live in than I thought.

Journal Entry #1

I only moved to Clamburg a week ago, but I'm starting to realize how truly unholy this place is.

I knew the town was in need of enlightenment, but not to this degree. Information was sparse - I don't think there was any way I could've known before arriving physically. But I'm here now, and I can't leave. I'll just have to get used to it.

I have received a letter from the nuns at the abbey. They said they hope I'm doing well and performing my godly duties accordingly. I have to admit, the unwelcoming nature of this town makes me uncertain. I must try though.

They said Sister Farah has fallen ill. Is it bad I find myself unable to empathize with her situation? Is it bad I hope this is karma? She's never cared for me or the others when we've fallen ill. In fact, I've always found her to be judgmental around me. Perhaps this is an opportunity for her to realize how important friendship and kindness is in our community.

But anyway, I am adjusting. I have noticed one of the children is strongly religious, but I'm not 100% sure which faith he subscribes to. There are also a few areas I have yet to explore that I would like to visit.

I suppose I have nothing left to say. I do hope getting my thoughts down will help in the long run.

A very strange animal arrived at my doorstep today. I thought it was an injured bird, and I tried to help it, but it viciously attacked me! :( Quite unfortunate. I managed to tame it and let it go, but it left a nasty scar on my hand. I am afraid it might have had a disease. Small prey animals like that do not usually attack. Should I be concerned?
