Y’all I just read Kyohei’s “The Last Concert” sub story, and let me tell you I am WRECKED. I knew it was going to tear me in half but I don’t think I was actually prepared for what it threw at me. I didn’t get any screenshots I was crying so hard 😭 it broke my soul I don’t even know what to say 😭😫

I love Scandal in the Spotlight. Goes without saying. The guys have been my little safe space since I was a teenager. They're well-written and unique, and the story setting is fun. They make you laugh and cry and their bond with each other is one of my favorite things. This is established.

However.

Genuinely some of the CGs suck. This is coming from someone who is head over heels obsessed with the game. I'm sorry some of the artwork for the CGs leave much to be desired.

So.

For the heck of it, l'm gonna rate some CGs based on whether I think it looks realistically proportionate and we're gonna do this one guy at a time :)

The lucky boy today is: Kyohei Rikudoh Mr. Producer man himself and my personal favorite 😊

I have a set of about nine CGs of Kyohei’s that I will rate, based solely on personal bias and opinion. Let us begin :)

Starting off with a classic one from his main story, we give this one a 9/10. Proportionately it’s well done. It’s charged with personality. We love it.

What is this? Why is this? It just… no. Doesn’t really look like him, the proportions are off and it bothers me. 4/10.

Yes, oh my god. The intensity, the drama, that jawline 😍 we love it. 8/10.

Okay this one is good. It’s at an odd angle but it’s a decent look in spite. 6/10

This one, LOVE this one. The fervent look on his face and his domineering attitude is 😚🤌🏻. Omg and the hair 🥰 yes, we love. 8/10.

Okay I like this one but, it’s like we changed art styles all of a sudden. Like it looks like him but in an alternate art style universe. 6/10.

This one is one of my most favorite ever. It’s so accurately him it scratches an itch in my brain. Like this is Kyohei in a snapshot. His expression is fond and kinda tender but slightly teasing, lol just like him. I love this one. 12/10.

I hate this one with a burning passion for literally no reason whatsoever. -2/10

This one might be my favorite one ever. Kyohei’s stories pull on my heart strings so hard and this CG encompasses everything that pulls me in. Just LOOK AT IT. Omg. He literally carries around so much, more than the others in a lot of ways, and for a moment you can see it in his eyes and I just— 🥺😭 100/10.

Yes. This is nice. Love his hair. Mm look at that jawline 8/10

Yes. Any reason to feel like you’ve gotten under his skin for 5 seconds. Also drawn very well. 9/10.

Yes but no? I feel like it portrays him accurately but the proportions are slightly off. Not bad though. 7/10.

No. Just no. What is this?? Just why? How much did they pay the artist? Hard no. 1/10

For the most part I feel like they did Iori dirty as far as CGs go. He doesn’t have a whole lot of good ones. But this is not one of them. This is a great one. The angle, the pose, just *chefs kiss*. It’s a very powerful stance. You can see Iori and his personality clearly. 10/10.

Yes. This is amazing. You can also see him and his personality accurately. Also he actually looks like himself. The screen in the background is a big plus. It’s a well compiled image. 10/10

He’s beautiful. It’s screaming Prince Iori 9/10

This one tastes so sweet. It feels really intimate. And just the details, like her earrings. I just love it. 10/10
