My Chemical Romance’s Ray Toro, Rock Sound Poster, October 2016.
(source!)
ray as temperance tarot card
it’s 2am and i am once again thinking about the fact that if my chemical romance hadn’t been written off as a “shitty emo band” for years and years, Mr. Ray Toro would be a widely recognized and highly respected Legend.
that man is so fucking unbelievably talented, it’s insane. first and foremost he can shred like a motherfucker and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
my chemical romance spent so many years being discredited for the dumbest fucking reasons (largely because their fan base was primarily young women but that’s another post) when they have one of the most talented guitarists of the last 20 years. and it’s BULLSHIT.

fuckyeahmcrquotes:
“We all have our bad habits, um… some of us smell really bad. Some of us stay up really late and watch movies at maximum volume and don’t let anybody sleep. I don’t want to point out any specific people, but um, everybody has their own little quirks, and when you tour you’re touring with family—and you’re touring with your brothers, and you know, even if you haven’t spent a lot of time with them before you start touring, after you start touring your every waking moment is spent with each other so you kind of come to grips with peoples idiosyncrasies and actually grow to appreciate people more for that.” — Ray Toro.
