Hey all, sorry this is a little late for #DigiMerchMonday, but hopefully you don’t mind knowing about these brand new official Digimon items before next Monday right? ;3 The info out there is scarce, but this is what I found so far:

The Digimon “Domez” blind bag figures are by Original Minis. Set of 9, I’m pretty sure Greymon was supposed to be the mystery ‘mon, not Gomamon :b No retail price posted anywhere, seems they were released this month!

The Digimon “Plush Minis” blind box set is supposed to be released sometime in April! It’s a set of 9, just like the figures. No known price for these either.

The distributor company is UCC Distributing. What do they do? I don’t know, digimon don’t deal with these complicated things ;>ᆺ>

UCC mentions some stores you can buy the plushies from [maybe the figures are sold in these places too?]

I gotta say, the plushies look really, um, bad. Like they didn’t even Tri. Except the Gomamon one of course ;3 Fandra says it’s weird that these got licensed when they look so much like the fake plushies being sold on ebay and aliexpress :< I hope these sell well enough that we’ll see more official Digimon-related merchandise in the future!

ALL questions pottermore patronus test

I stumbled upon this reddit post whose author uses data from this post to create a quiz featuring ALL the questions from the pottermore patronus test to give you your “best fit” patronus.

As we know with the ilvermorny and hogwarts tests, there is a huge difference in accuracy when comparing a quiz with all the questions available vs when taking it on pottemore with a limited and varying questions, and a lot of people were unhappy with their patronus because they thought it didn’t fit their personality.

So, if you want to retake the patronus test or see the patronus you would receive in a 38 question quiz rather than a 5 question quiz, click here.

Side note: don’t be afraid to click none if neither answer feels right, it makes the answer more accurate for your personality

Without 1,000+ CP Pokémon, chances of taking over and holding an enemy gym are pretty slim. Reddit user, Kyurun calculated all the CP levels Pokémon need in order to guarantee a CP over 1,000 in its final evolution (above chart). If that’s not helpful, there’s actually a calculator that let’s you put in a Pokémon’s CP and see how high it will be after it evolves.

A recurring problem I have with clients is that when I ask for vector PDFs, they think all PDFs are vectors. After getting a bitmap PDF when asking for a vector one time too many, I started to think about how I could educate my clients. I thought I had a pretty good explanation.

Me: The file type is like a container. Think of it like this: Let’s say a hamburger is a bitmap file and the extension JPG (or PNG) is a hamburger bag. Now lets say a whole pizza is a vector design, and a pizza box is a PDF or AI file. You can fit a hamburger (bitmap), in a pizza box (PDF file), but you can’t fit a whole pizza (vector) in a hamburger bag (JPG).

Client: I think I get it.

Me: Think of the PDF like a pizza box, you open it and say “Hey there’s a hamburger in here, I asked you for a pizza.” And the client says “yeah of course it’s a pizza, it’s in a pizza box.” That’s sort of what’s happening here – you need to make sure the pizza goes into the pizza box, or in this case, the vector goes into the PDF.

Client: That makes sense, thanks. .

The next day:

Client: This is what you need, right?

This time, it wasn’t even a PDF, it was a DOC file with a bitmap copy and pasted in.
