"Does your 'ex' always visit you, or does he have a way of finding you anywhere?" The blue-eyed long ender asked Skellie while glancing at her from top to bottom in a curious manner before looking at her eye markings, which looked quite similar to his faded ones over his eyes. "Or are you just not moving away from one place, so it's easy for him to find you again?"
"He just shows up...sells marrying him like its such a great deal...I don't want to go back...I cant go back to the end."
-- ...You can try to move somewhere temporary to see if he’s actually just tracking you or if those markings are actually having some ‘weight’ on you -- The blue-eyed ender spoke with a slight frown while his little blurred blue pupils traced over Skellie’s eye markings -- Though, by my experience, the worst case scenario is just kicking some sense into him.
While saying that, his eyes finally met the endergal ones, as even though his expression was quite stoic, the glance itself was giving signs of pity... or some kind of worry.
"I- well-..." She blinked, looking at the ground. "....I'm...not strong enough to 'kick sense' into him..." She muttered, meekly. She moved a hand to the scars, sometimes she wanted to claw them off. She didn't understand why her "Ex", if one could even call him that, wanted her. "I'd- move...but, I don't like moving alone, he'd just take me at that point..."
"Oh- uh- I'm..I'm Skellie." She didn't know if she introduced her self, she was distracted by her thoughts.
“Pleased to meet you, Skellie“ The blue-eyed ender said as he squatted down slowly, making sure that it’d be easier for her to look at him without lifting her head up too much and that he could still see her eyes even with her current glance to the ground. “Well, at first glance, you look quite sturdy enough to handle anything.“ He said with a soft chuckle. Seeing how the mention of it made her look more meek, he quickly tried to break the ice with at least something. “Oh, you can call me Dreamger, or Dream for short.“ He quickly introduced himself, while now looking up at her from a lower height now. “I know it’s not my business and all that, but... I was dealing with something similar before, and maybe I can help you on that case.” While talking about that, the long ender’s eyes kind of drifted down and to the side, like he was thinking of something... or remembering something. He then continued: ”Te-eechnically I have both a temporary place that is usually out of reach and a nice group to help you with the ‘worst case’ scenario. But I’d prefer to make an offer if you can help me negotiate something with the head of your village.“
she blinked, looking at him. She could handle her 'ex', but, only in an aggravated state, running the risk of hurting other's. She fiddled with the clothe of her outfit before nodding a bit.
"Head of the village- Ahe-?" She paused. "I'm sure I can...hes pretty nice..." She sighed. She turned, putting on a face, a mood of being unbothered. She didn't want Ahe seeing her down or sad. "Actually he should be in calling distance." She called his name twice, slightly jumping to her toes as if that would help. Sure enough, a large figure soon came behind her. His tail cracked like a whip and he squinted, clearly protective of the small ender woman.
As the large figure of the main figure in a village started to come closer, a strange light giggle escaped from that long ender before he stood up. Even with his height, Ahe was huge compared to Dream, but the growing smile on the blue-eyed ender’s face showed he felt quite comfortable with not being the tallest at the moment. “...You weren’t kidding; he’s quite a charming looking fella.“ He said to Skellie in a half tone, before stepping closer to Ahe as his blue eyes again ran over his strong figure. “So...Ahe, right? I’m Dreamger, a head of Northen eyes.“ He quickly introduced himself as his speech sounded more ‘official’, like he got used to saying it somewhere in public.
"...Ahe.". His face relaxed. The comment made his twirl swirl, before resting on the ground. He seemed to suspect Dream wasn't a threat. He tilted his head to the side, quickly glancing him over, before looking at Skellie.
She was silent, he could read her like a book. She's upset. He looked back at Dream. He gave a small, so guarded smile. "What brings you here?" Skellie looked between the two for a second, before her eyes seemed to trail, distracted, mindlessly scratching one of the scars on her face. Thinking about the lonely nights in the end cities, everything in the end that happened.
“A little bit of curiosity... and a little bit of business“ The blue-eyed ender spoke while glancing on the worried endergal as well, while letting his emotions slip more, showing his worry quite slightly with the edges of his mouth. It was certain he wanted to help her with this unpleasant situation she had, yet at the same time, there was some hesitation. But as soon as he glanced at Ahe, he quickly tried to push it all back down. “Miss Skellie has a little problem that I can take care of with my crew. But to ensure that I can help with such things, I need...a small trading agreement between this village and our main base.” While he spoke, the big aquatic ender could hear that it was a little hard for him to speak in this language, making a lot of pauses while he kept checking on Skellie. “Just so they could host her until that problem was dealt with.”
”Mhh…I see.” Ahe eyed the ender. He knew he had no real choice. Her “ex” knows how to handle the villagers, he couldn’t defend her…
“Small trading agreement? What is it exactly you seek?” He huffed. Skellie looked at the two, before turning and looking at a tree. She lost herself in thoughts, the yelling, the crying of her past, the pain this man has caused her, the paranoia of being followed. Could they actually help her…? She swore she could still hear the laugh he had gave as she tried to declare she’d be free of him one day.
“Mostly an agreement for our trade routes and let our people sometimes stay in your village at no cost.“ Dream spoke his requirements quite quickly, pausing just to see Ahe’s reaction for a second and before he could speak, the blue-eyed ender added: “We’ll do the same in return, along with some extra help. Along with some help what falls into our field of work as hunters.“ He hoped that it’d work for him as well - after all, he didn’t want to return to his base and see the sour or disappointed faces today. One sadness is enough for today, he thought while glancing at the endergal, before following her glance over the tree, a little curious what she was looking at. Of course, it was just for a quick second, before he returned his blue eyes to the big aquatic ender.
“We just need a place where my people can stop by - mostly because with the problem of our base being far away and hidden.“
“…” Ahe let out a sigh. “Alright…” Ahe gave a tired smile, looking at ' Skellie. He looked…sad, having tears in his eyes. He blinked a couple times, looking back at the blue-eyed ender. “Though, please. Skellie has had many people day they can help her…I…” he trailed off, looking at the ground. His tone quickly changed to that of a parental one. “Please do not be one of those people.”
Skellie looked at the two, turning and in a puff, was gone. Ahe blinked, for a moment getting panicked, before in another puff, appearing beside the stranger. She just looked at him, then Ahe. “He’s going to follow me you know.” She sounded…like she had given up. The large marine ender thought, starting at the enderwoman. “…Don’t worry about it. I have an enchantment that might delay him for a day. He will come here…by then, you’ll be away from here.”
“... I just don’t want someone to experience the same thing what my mate had to endure before.“ The blue-eyed ender said after a short pause and sigh, giving Ahe a piece of his mind to calm his parental instincts. “Skellie doesn’t deserve that kind of nightmare what comes with this mark, if it’s tied to the wrong person. “ While saying that, his eyes moved on the endergal, looking at her with a worry while saying quite silently to himself. “ⁿᵒᵗ ᵃᵍᵃᶦⁿ“ As Skellie suddenly appeared infront of Dream, his deep blue eyes looked at her, before switching to Ahe. While listening to his words, he suddenly perked up as he reached his hand under his cape and pulled out a strange bracelet, made from a red wood and a small golden string, wrapped around it tightly. On one of the edges it had a few cyan stones what was easily glided along the bracelet. “Take this, if things would get ugly.“ The long ender said to Ahe, while handing him a bracelet. “Just rip it apart and my crew will appear within a minute or two. I’ll give you another one later to contact me or Skellie as well.“ After this, he turned his head to Skellie before holding out other hand to her. “If you are ready, just take my hand - this jump is gonna take a few tries.“
“Alright.” Ahe sighed. He looked at the two, gently patting her head. She relaxed for a second. Ahe looked at the bracelet, putting it in a pouch on his belt. “He shouldn’t fight, her ex doesn’t do the dirty work. He hires other Enders, I’ve encountered them before.” He shuffled through another pouch, handing dream some small papers, three in total.
Skellie glances at the paper, looking at dream. She took his hand, a little hesitant. She didn’t really look at him, seeming nervous, or mostly scared. “I’ll see you soon Ahe.” She looked at him. She was just saying that, she didn’t really know, she just wanted him to feel at ease.
“In case his ender is familiar with my crew, you can just show this bracelet instead of ripping it. Should at least keep them at bay.“ Dream said with a light nod, while taking those papers. His hand gently squeezed Skellie’s as he turned to her, checking her condition. “Everything should be alright, Skellie.“ He reassured her while placing his other hand on her shoulder as the paper rustled under his fingers. “Take a big breath - it’s going to be a big dive“ After a few seconds, the familiar darkness of teleportation quickly surrounded both enders. As compared to the usual teleporting that Skellie could do, it felt like it was squeezing all the air out of her body without any chance to breathe in. The cold feeling was slowly spreading over both of them as they were stuck there for a few seconds before a cold breeze suddenly rushed over them with a loud noise of like something was shattering. In an instant, the darkness of the void was replaced with the long white plains of a snow biome, stretching wide into the horizon. Behind Skellie, she could see a dark oak forest, so dense that she could barely see the ground between the trunks. “NGH...jeez, almost hit the barrier...“ He panted out as if this effect of the teleportation was the same for him as for her. His hands still held her, making sure she wouldn’t fall to the ground after this intense move. “Are you alright?“
Skellie was overwhelmed, taking as big of a breath as she could before the jump. During it, she swore she heard other noises. Roars, her…name? Maybe it was due to her nearly passing out from the force of the warning, the cold. What…is happening? Even if it was short in retrospect, it seemed like an eternity.
When it stopped, she didn’t say much. Even when he asked, she simply stared at the surroundings. She was shaking, she felt a pain in her chest. She looked at him, only stammering. She took a deep breath, or tried to, before putting her head against dream, staring at the ground. He’s here, you’re here, you’re ok. “Just overwhelmed.” She moved away from him a little, looking up with a false hair face. “I’m ok!”
When her head suddenly pressed into his chest, it forced him to breathe out in surprise before putting his hand on her head and patting her gently. Dream knew that jump was too intense for anyone, and he was giving Skellie all the time she needed to process it before they could proceed. As she moved away, he crouched a little bit so he could see her face more clearly when she said that. “I can hear it’s not true“ He spoke as his small, warm smile showed that there was no danger. On second, his hand moved under her chin as he inspected her face with a light concern, before moving his hand away quickly with a reassuring sigh. “Enders usually don’t spend time in the void as it pushes them away. But stay long enough to see the void, and the void starts to look back at you. Try not to dwell on it.“ After that, he looked at the plains, following the horizon with his blue eyes, like he was trying to see something. His one hand still held the endergal’s hand, and in one moment, when her breath sounded more or less normal, he started to walk with her towards those plains, down into a snowy tundra. “Gonna take a walk here - the place isn’t reachable with teleports.” He said this to Skellie while finally putting the papers into his cape and deciding to read them later. “While we have some time, why won’t you tell me about those markings? Can you describe the process of how you got them from your ex?” He asked after a small pause as the snow was crunching under their legs, showing it had been snowing for a long time in those lands.
Skellie looked at him, looking to the side with just her eyes when he inspected her face. She didn’t really like eye contact, not up close. When he asked, she winced. A hand went up to the scars. She had to think.
“In the end, I lived in the end cities. Ones that were in ruins. Magic was stronger in them, he knew that. He also know old, dark magic. He found me…” she sighed. Her memory was foggy, she knew why. “I’m pretty sure I went into my aggressive state. When I woke up, I had the wounds for the scars, there was markings on the floor.” She looked at the snow, her eyes sparkled a little. She was still getting used to the surface, she didn’t explore much. She stayed close to the larger ender, not really understanding the energy from him, but it was different then Enders she’s met before.
“Hmmm...then it might be... ₜₕₑ 𝒸ₕₒᵣᵤₛ ᵦₗₒₒ𝒹 “ The blue-eyed ender eyes looked down on the ground in thought, mumbling something at the end to himself as she spoke about how she doesn’t really remember on how those markings were made. Even those small details were enough for him to consider that he already knew what type of markings are those... which put him in a more worried mood than before. But when he glanced at Skellie and saw her shine in the eyes, he decided to push those questions for later so she wouldn’t feel overwhelmed with stress right from the first steps. “I think I can work with that detail for now. Also, I can see somebody is quite new to this white beauty, aren’t you?“ Dream said, while he turned around, continuing to walk in the same direction but backwards with his back facing forward, making sure that they could talk without too much trouble. During that, the long ender switched hands with her as his steps were a little jumpy while the snow melted under his feet, leaving a small trail after them. His energy at that time felt like he wasn’t in the same place as where she sees him. It didn’t match him at all, and somehow it was... familiar? Like someone she knew, but in same time she did not not. A strange [deja vu] feeling.
”I haven’t seen something so pretty!” She giggled and kept looking at the snow. It was tough for her to walk if she didn’t follow his steps. For a moment she forgot that she was in this situation.
“I always read about surface world biomes. One day I want to explore and see them all. Though it’s quiet cold.” She gave a small shudder. She wasn’t use to cold- or warmth. The purple in her body slowly turned a little blue to reflect it. She looked towards the sky, all around in awe. Don’t get her wrong she loved her village but she just wanted to see the world. “How many people are on your team?” She wanted to mentally prepare herself. Couldn’t be so bad right? She lives in a hustle bustle fishing village, after all, surely this can’t be that bad right?
He continued to walk backwards as his smile brightened a little bit from her giggle, seeing her get some of her worry down just for a brief moment. The snow was slowly falling on them as it kept covering his blue cloak in it, making it blend with the snow. “Oh yeah, this one is the most unfriendly one. If you are curious, you can join our hunts after some time to visit more places we are scouting. ” He said, while continuing to lead, that after a few minutes he stopped in place in a straight up pose, like he was counting every step they made from their teleport place. When Skellie asked him about his crew, Dream rolled his eyes like he was trying to scramble that information from his mind before answering: “Around 15 or 20. Though the base contains not just my crew...we are just mere tenants there. You’ll see in a second.“ After saying it, he turned to the vast view of the snowy tundra while reaching his hand forward, like he was trying to grasp something invisible. In that moment, the endergal could hear a strange, almost unnoticeable buzzing in her head—like a small static. As the long ender moved his hand around in front of him, the buzzing kept getting louder and quieter until it got consistent, as he found the point when this noise was more or less noticeable for them both. “Okay, this part is tricky, and that’s why I can’t teleport us into the base directly. Hold my hand and close your eyes. And I mean, really close them and do not let go of my hand.“ Dreamger said while looking at Skellie. “I’ll take a few steps, and when you feel me tugging on your hand, jump forward without opening your eyes. A little leap of faith.“
“That would be so fun!” She beamed, giving the smallest excited squeal. “The white fluff is pretty unforgiving for the cuts in my feet.” She winced. Skellies paws can’t yet adapted to the harsh dirt and dangerous twigs on the ground. Her face lost its bright and natural glow for a moment, as she thought about her village…if she could just know they’re ok, even if it hadn’t been that long.
When the buzzing began, even if small, it startled her. She felt the pop in the jaw, like it tried to unhinge. Ow. She’d have to pop it back in when they rested, she just hoped that nothing startled her more. She looked at him, listening to his instructions. She nodded, flicking her small tail as her eyes switched once, something she had always done when scared. A small burning feeling was on her upper back, she took a breath, deciding to close her eyes. She wanted to trust him but with everything, she just grew nervous. Like a rock was in her chest. Would it hurt? What is it? Why do my eyes have to be shut?
She thought of the only memory of her brother…the only good one…
they were wrestling. He’s always win. It called her for the time being.
The grip of the long ender in that moment got stronger as she could feel him moving forward...yet, the usual following sound of his step on the snow didn’t come. Like ANY sound of him suddenly stopped to exist after she felt him stepping forward, but with her closed eyes, she couldn’t see what happened. Yet, the grip was still here, still holding her tightly, contradicting what was happening as the buzzing kept slowly increasing. And then, in just a quick movement, his grip suddenly tugged her forward with quite a strong force, as she didn’t even have to jump, easily pulling off from her feet like she got swept. At just a small fraction of a second, that buzzing sound was so loud that she couldn’t hear anything else but it......before it suddenly stopped and she could hear the usual sounds of his breathing, his steps. Even his body as from that sudden yank, her body would stumble on him and she could feel his other hand catching her, making sure she wouldn’t fall. "Easy, easy, open, open!“ Skellie finally would hear his voice, giving her a sign that it is safe now. And when she opened her purple eyes, she could clearly see that they were in a little different place—it was the same snowy tundra, but part of it was replaced with completely new terrain—a little hills around the river and some extra trees around. But that wasn’t the main thing that would catch her eye—in the distance, she could see a big tree. A really large tree. So large that she could see some of the snow mist covering its base as the trunk and branches kept going up and up, beyond the clouds! And still, it wasn’t stopping there, drowning in a mist of clouds, making it feel like it was stretching through the whole world's height. Not to mention that the trunk seemed too thick from a distance as when they’d start coming closer, she’d release that it was like 100 blocks in diameter, if not more. And as they’d come closer, she’d notice a big, ring-like house built right around it with multiple floors. The place was made from red nether bricks and was quite noticeable from a distance with how the design stood out compared to the biome. “Relax, we are here now." His voice was giving out light notes of excitement, like he was about to show her something special.
Skellie took a sharp breath, looking at the sight. She slowly grasped at Dreams arms, hooking both arms around one of the long Enders. She gave a low shudder, ignoring the silent popping in her back. She was overwhelmed with both excitement and nerves. Her gaze trailed up the tree, her eyes widening as she saw how just…insanely, unrealistically large this place was…
She looked at the ender, seeing the excitement, calmed her a bit. A hand went up to her jaw, she shuffled and a small- snap- it went into place. Maybe she won’t go aggro…she hoped. She really didn’t want that happening, it hurt, she’d be stuck, she might hurt someone. As she thought she just stood and stared at the large build, her eyes slightly danced as she examined it. She managed to tear her eyes back away from the tree and glanced around, letting go of the larger ender and stepping a couple paces with a small limp. “How…where…?” She looked back at the tree. “Wh…” she was still at a loss for words. She quickly moved close back to him, she didn’t seem to want to loose sight. She doubted he would run off more so, fear of her ex. She tried to keep in mind this place seemed very well hidden, and from the sound of it, many eyes to watch out for the bastard. Just thinking about him made her- mad? “It’s…very pretty.” Is all she could muster through her swirling thoughts.
As that popping was heard by the long ender, his enthusiastic smile tempered down as he quickly started to check her with his deep blue eyes in a worry that it might have triggered aggro for her. “Are you alright? Did it go too hard for you?” He asked Skellie, still holding her hand to keep her more or less calm. “Always forgetting that it’s quite irritating for the newcomers. Don’t worry, next time it should be less loud.” He reassured her before hearing the endergirl’s words about this place, gently pulling her with him towards that building at the root of the tree. “This place is not accessible unless you know the ‘code’ for it... At least that’s how doc explained it to me “ Dreamger explained it to her as they were getting closer to this building. Skellie could notice the change in temperature as it was getting warmer under her steps, yet the air remained cold. Soon enough, she could feel that the frozen ground got replaced under her feet with something solid, revealing that it was a nether brick after she’d look at her trace, imprinted on the snow layer. “It can’t even be shown on the map!“ With enough distance passed, the tree felt like a huge giant who looked over them, covering the place with its shadow, yet the light kept leaking through the branches. As they were getting into the shadow of the tree, the endergal could hear some voices coming from the building, as there were so many that it felt like there was like a huge bazaar, covered from other eyes.
“I’m fine,” she filled her head a bit, “my back quills might pop up that’s all.” She let herself be pulled by the tall ender. Her back burned, but nothing could stop the quills from rising.
she looked at at him as he explained the base. Her mouth seemed to just appear, two small fangs that were rounded on each side. She gave a small smile, looking at the ground as it changed. “Our village has minimal protection, it won’t appear on the map until your map is blessed by Ahe.” She hummed. She closed her eyes, for a moment, getting a flash of the large ray. But he was…wounded…different…
she sighed and opened her eyes. Probably paranoia. She stopped as she heard the voices, looking nervously at dream. She was hoping she wouldn’t freak out and go aggro, or freeze, or run. She could feel the quills on her back rise slowly. It’s fine, it’s fine, you’re safe…
The long ender stopped as soon as he started to see the change in Skellie’s appearance, making him more worried about her. He kneeled in front of her as he took both of her hands by his fingertips, making sure they’d be in front of her eyes, and it was like she tested her hands on his without holding. And as he spoke, his voice somehow got over the voices coming from the building, yet he wasn’t raising his tone—it’s like everything was muffled for this small moment. “Everything is fine, Skellie. Breath slowly...“ Dreamger spoke while not looking directly at her but more at her hands, making a light shake so they would bounce and her mind would focus on the current thing rather than going into panic, trying to slow her spin of thoughts down. Something he had to do quite often with one of his kids or during rescue missions. “My crew—...my family is going to protect you, I promise. Nothing here is going to hurt you.“ He corrected himself while repeating, Everything is fine, and making slow breaths for her to mimic while tapping gently her hand to give her a calm rhythm for the inhales. “Slow in... and slow out.“ He spoke, coordinating the endergirl’s breath while watching carefully at her spikes and such.
Skellie to a breath, trying to focus on the now. “The quills will have to be bandaged down…they uh, are venomous.” She looked at him, looking at his hands. She blinked, trying to think about something else.
“I didn’t bring a change of clothes…” she was distracting herself, looking at her own white garments. She hoped it was nice enough- though, it was the equivalent to pajamas. She leaned her head against dreams shoulder for a minute, before looking at him. “I think I’m good, for now.” She gave a weak and tired smile. She slowed her breathing, finally relaxing.
As Skellie’s head fell on his shoulder, the long ender sighed out while holding her close, watching with some kind of mesmerized look how those spikes kept lifting up and down with her every breath. As she moved back and looked at him, Dream just held her hand with a nod, before giving a warm smile. “At least the current one is pretty." He said with a soft chuckle to help her with this distraction, while lowering their hands down as their breath was making light clouds of steam around them, cooling their breaths. “Don’t worry about clothes, though - if Vera is here, she might just throw something of your size on y--“ He got interrupted as he jumped a little bit on place by a sudden voice behind the doors of the building: “Hei te kaksi, put the customer down! Pesky redheaded demonit...“ The voice behind the door sounded feminine with some heavy northern accent as it followed with sounds of some crashing and loud childish giggling. In the next second, the doors of the building got opened, as Skellie would see two young enders who were holding some kind of human body, dragging it by its legs. The groans of the man showed that he was alive, and as both kids quickly dragged the man past them, the red face of the man showed that he was completely drunk. Both of them quickly gave a glance over the blue-eyed ender and quickly shouted “HEY DAD!“, before the body started to slide off the hill and they climbed on it to use as a sledge! Right after them, Skellie could see the albino endergal, wearing the winter outfit for hunters as some knives kept knocking against her waist with a light clinking sound. She quickly shouted after them, revealing that it was her voice that they had heard before: “TULE TAKAISIN TÄNNE, YOU TWO!!!“ She shouted while throwing one of the blades after them as it quickly hit the ground near the drunk man, managing to catch on his clothes and stop him from sliding, forcing the kids to fall into the snow. After this, she stopped in their tracks with a relived sigh that they didn’t slide too far before noticing both Skellie and Dream sitting near the entrance. “...aiaiai... brought us a new customer, aren’t you boy?“ Her tone quickly got softer, almost motherly, yet with some eagerness she was easing down. As she came closer, she squatted down, making her long grey skirt press onto the red bricks on the road while she looked at the buff endergal with a much softer expression compared to the one she had when she chased those two enderkids....though still saving her heavy accent. “Hello dear....My name is Kaledona. Welcome to ‘The broken tooth’.“
Skellie watched the chaos, tilting her head and squinting. “Dad…?” She looked up at dream, before hearing the yell. It startled her, she stared at the ground. The spines on her back shot up, ripping through her clothes. As Kalendona spoke, Skellie stared with a slight primal fear. Not of the enderwoman, but of something else. “Nice to meet you.” Her tone was low, almost masculine, dark compared to her typically soft and gentle tone.
the scars on her face almost split, she shut her eyes to try and not think about the pain running through her bones, looking towards the kids. She couldn’t afford to lose it with people trying to help her around, she would hurt them…
she looked back at the Enderwoman, unable to speak.
The expression on the albino endergal’s face quickly changed into more serious one once the voice of Skellie began to change as her fear-filled glance was enough to tell her what is happening. “Helevetti...“ She said with a soft tone, while making a slight gesture towards the kids who were just tried to pull that dagger out of the snow to continue their ride. “Dream, please take your little demons away. I’ll take it from here.“ The blue eyed ender in that time was sitting near to the buff endergal as his eyes kept switching between his kids and her, but when her eyes glanced on the kids, he quickly rushed towards them, making his blue cape to flick in the air while some snow was sticking to the bottom of it. He quickly grabbed the guy from the snow and threw him over his shoulder, before easily picking the little endergirl one under his armput, like she weighted nothing. She kept giggling as the boy quickly glanced on Dream’s expression, before looking at Skellie and his bright smile quickly turned into the same worried expression as Dream had. They quickly went to the building as the long ender still kept glancing on the buff endergal, wanting to help her... but as Kaledona gave a strange sign with her hand, Dreamger made his way inside. “Okay dear, let’s take it slow... another köyhä wounded soul.“ The albino endergal said with a gentle tone while her hands really slowly reached to the edges of Skellie’s head, guiding it down on her lap. “Easy, easy... doc is still sleeping so for now, let’s handle it in the old way.“ While speaking, Kaledona reached her hand under Skellie’s jaw, starting to massage the base of it as the pain was slowly focused in one spot, yet it was slowly dulling out in this spot. “Don’t open your eyes yet, let’s relax your jaw muscles first so they wouldn’t strain your head... ” While saying that, she moved a piece of fabric what was covering her wrists, showing that it had alot of bites, preparing for this if the situation would go that way. ”Don’t be afraid to bite my hand as well - I know during this state it’s easier to chew on something so your head wouldn’t be filled with a constant pain in the ass.“
Skellie took a couple breaths, eventually seeming to calm down. "I'm sorry, it’s…a lot, going on." She furrowed her brows, feeling like something was off. “If I bit you you’d…get sick.” That was an understatement”
She looked at the enderwoman, giving a small smile, before looking to the side. "...i'm still confused on why you all are helping me." She sighed. In the end, pretty much no one paid attention to her if she made it to the mainland. Which was rare. Up here nearly everyone was kinder to her. Ahe had found her after the girl fell into some water, he used pretty much all his magic on her. So much it drained him, he doesn't have much left. She winced at the thought. Of course, people also haven't been pleasant. She nearly got hit in the skull by an arrow by a odd shaped man.
Ahe watched as parts of the village burned. He couldn't beat them- he couldn't save his village, not at this rate. Skellie was safe, that's all that mattered. He slowly let go of his thoughts, letting a deep unsettled primal anger take over. He couldn't win, but he could slow them down for now.
