‘ i have literally no clue what you just said. ’ jace more often than not didn’t understand the mundie references that simon kept mentioning. he understood that simon had lived almost all his life in the mundane world and it had become a habit of him to talk that way but jace didn’t understand him. ‘ english, simon. some of us didn’t grow up mundane. ’ he wasn’t mad at simon per say, more like midly annoyed that he couldn’t understand him.

the night had started out to be a normal partol night only there had eventually been more demons than they had anticipated. jace had been going from one demon to another, killing most of them, when he noticed a figure across him. he wasn’t there a few moments ago and it distracted jace enough to get a hit on his side. despite the injury, jace managed to kill the last few before turning to the figure again. ‘ who are you ? ’ he rasped out towards the man.
