Please help with my Vet fees!

my budgie is sick and he’s at the avian vet rn i don’t want to make a huge fanfare but it has costed $700 usd for him and that’s not even an additional probably $300

i’m so sad of my dad that doesn’t think my bird’s life is important enough to spend money on, I am going to ask for donations, sorry.

donations would be amazing but not necessary, if you’d like to commission me for my art or buy some of my older OCs, i won’t say no to pay what you want commissions to make up money to maybe get my dad to not scorn me for the rest of my life.

I received a call this morning saying that my blue baby was sick, and past away last night

I am very heartbroken since he was only with us for 2 or so years, a very short amount of time, i do have pictures of them on my phone, they will probably be uploaded sometime

the necropsy revealed that he has an infection of the lungs, some sort of bacteria pneumonia. Probably casued by his food going down his air pipe instead of crop by accident.

They also said it probably wouldn’t have mattered if i brought him in earlier because the infection was really deep set into his lungs. that doesn't make me feel better
