For this sold out show I really wanted to push the time period nature of Chris’ most recent record. His “Beyond the Sun” album is a release of classic Sun Records recordings from the likes of Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and Jerry Lee Lewis. Sam Phillips would be proud.

Wanted to go for more an mid-century duotone processed feel, while maintaining that it had been archived to date. Utilizing the vintage Marshall amp knobs, guitar neck and mic were the initial foundations for the piece. I had a retro Moog Little Fatty in there, but didn’t like it’s implementation.
