Its been forever since I last posted on here, so I thought I better start up again.

These nails are done using Barry M’s new sunset varnish in Do it like a Nude, and Essie’s Beyond Cosy.

Brought some new nail varnishes so tested out a couple of them these are yellow confetti nails

I also added a green tea fragranced top coat from Born Pretty

I tried to do a pastel galaxy nail art but its ended up coming out a lot darker than i expected. I did this like a normal galaxy nail art using a sponge to add each colour. You can't really see the full amount of colours as my normal camera is broken sadly.

Today at work there was a beach party theme so I decided to do some beach inspired nails

I used Barry M Blue Moon and yellow craft sand to create these nails.

Another Cath Kidston inspired nail art

Done using Barry M nail polishes 

The stripes were done using cello tape and the flowers with a dotting tool

newspaper nails

This was done with a nude base colour

The newspaper is dipped in water then pressed onto nails into the words are transfered

Textured dark green nails

This was done by painting on a base coat and while it was still wet i poured craft sand onto my nails and lightly pressed to make sure the whole nail was covered. 

I then went over the top with a very thin layer of top coat to make sure the sand was stuck, and added a gold diamond onto my thumb nails.

This can also be done using sand effect nail varnish, but i did not have any so improvised.

Pink ombre glitter nails

Done using Barry M matt white, bright pink and diamond glitter

A makeup sponge was used to achieve the gradient effect by dabbing the pink over a layer of the white

Matte pastel Cath Kidston inspired nails

Done using Barry M nail paint and Rimmel pro matte finish top coat

blood spatter nails inspired by the tv show Dexter.

I tried many ways of doing this. I found dipping a straw into the polish and blowing onto the nails at different distances was the most effective way of achieving splattered effect nails.

First nails on this blog space nails!

I have wanted to do this for ages but havent found a great glitter polish till last week. Diamond Glitter by Barry M has got to be my favourite glitter polish I have and I have a lot. I love that it has got different sized pieces of glitter and love that they are holographic as well which I think improves the space look loads.

This was done with 17 Colour Switch in teal, Barry M in red wine, a pink shimmer polish and finally Barry M diamond glitter.

Welcome to my nail blog

Decided to start a nail blog seeing as I am always doing my nails and my friends always seem to like them and ask how I do them. So I thought maybe other people might want to see as well. So here goes :)
