“GODDAMMIT!!” A fist pounded against the table, causing it to groan from the sudden force. All the other outdoor tables in the food court, as to the contrary of the season, were empty. Most of the people were too afraid to come out of their homes, even to come to Junes. Such a thing was unheard of, even during the Fog Murders of the previous year. So it was just the Emperor, sitting at a rather nostalgic table, shaking with rage. The subject of that rage? The giant otherworldly tablet that sat where his school once did. Now don’t get him wrong; he hated school more than your normal student. It was the terror such an event caused that enraged him.

“How the hell did we let this happen, dammit?!”

It was like they let the world slip through their fingers and collide with calamity head-on. The Chariot felt uneasy to begin with ever since she saw what had happened.. And even though she didn't like school, or the teachers and the work and everything involved with it, the reaction that it warranted from the mass of people who lived in Inaba was enough to send her reeling. All she wanted to do was fix things.

The only question was.. How the hell did this happen so fast? It was like in the blink of an eye they went from being content with their given situation to being in the eye of destruction yet again.

Imminent destruction.. Those words alone were enough to give her goosebumps. And so without further ado, Chie had ran off toward Junes in order to not only exert some excess adrenaline, but to also see if anyone else had the same idea. ... Was the Investigation Team going to regroup after all of this?

It was only a matter of time before she could tell. And she arrived without any problem, swerving around the corner and almost slamming right into the back of the chair Kanji was sitting in.
