First and foremost i believe Fnaf shouldve been a metaphor for how the rich and powerful will cut costs for the costs of cut lives and how we're expected to trade our sanity and well-being in exchange for affording an average life. In FNaF, you are literally working yourself to death, surrounded by dangerous machines that are no more than a source for cheap entertainment to keep children distracted from the reality that the place they're spending time at is dirty and hazardous, and that they are expected to earn joy from that
