Zelda leaned over the blond boy, blocking his view from the sun. Somewhere behind her, she heard his horse whinny, but she paid it no heed. If she could just get a little closer, then she could see-
Curses. No, not this one. Oh well. At least she had been able to findĀ someone out here. Wandering around the field had been starting to wear on her nerves, and she certainly didnāt believe what the mailman had told her miles back. Hyrule āFieldā her bloody bum! It was closer to a small country than a field.Ā
"Excuse me," she said, poking the boy in the face. "Excuse me!"
Ā Blue orbs fluttered open at the sudden intrusion to his peaceful nap. The femaleās features seemed annoyed and he attempted a retreat, previously pillowed arms shifted to push him slightly upward. Surprise faded away faintly as he looked into the girlās face, and a nameāaĀ titleāalmost slipped off his lips, but he quieted.
Ā No, this was not Princess Zelda. At the very least it could have been a relative, or perhaps someone he looked far too much alike. Link wasnāt sure what to make of it, and was momentarily thrown off, even more than he had been upon waking.
Ā Ā Ā Ā āā¦Can I help you?āĀ
Ā He managed the softly spoken question as he sat up completely. A soft smile spread across his features as he finally got over his rude awakening.Ā
The bubble of speech caught in her throat at the sight of the boy's expression. His smile reminded her vaguely of Link's, though she wasn't completely sure why - when her Link smiled, it took over his entire face, lighting up every portion of it. This boy's smile was soft and mild, the complete opposite of a grin as far as she was concerned. Still, there was a subtle undercurrent of sadness to it that reminded her very much of the last expression she had seen her best friend wear as he waved her off. She had a sneaking suspicion he had known that was the final goodbye.
"Oh. Oh, sorry," she said, suddenly realizing he had asked her a question. "Would you know the way to Castle Town, by any chance? This field is a teeny bit larger - well, no, substantially larger, actually - than I had expected it to be. I'm honestly not even sure I'm still in Hyrule anymore." The last sentence was punctuated with a sheepish laugh, and only mostly not true.

A small smile lit Zelda's face as she dipped her toes into the water, cool relief washing over her skin. Even after all these years, she still couldn't get over it, the wide expanse of salty blue that seemed to go on forever.Ā TheĀ ocean!Ā No one had ever told her how fantastic the ocean was before.
Then again, she wasn't sure she knew too many people who had actually been to the ocean. Or any people, for that matter. Things had been kind of lonely since she had gone to the surface, especially once Link left. Maybe it was time she picked up some sort of hobby, like knitting.
Oh, who was she kidding? She didn't have the patience to knit! Besides, being a goddess, watching over the land...that was supposed to be taking up all her time...right?
Hm. No matter. Those were all things she could think about later. For now, there was nothing to do but listen to the sound of the waves splashing against the rocks...
Ā The shade of an overgrown tree had seemed a good a place as any to catch a break. The shade kept him cool from the sun which had been kind to the world for much of the morning. Epona grazed on patches of grass as he laid back, arms pillowed beneath his head. The blue sky was barely visible between the leaves of the tree overhead. Eyes tracked the clouds that floated lazily on passed and though he knew there were things he could be doing, the young hero thought that he deserved this momentās restājust this once.
Ā Ā It didnāt take long for the short break to turn into a doze as blue eyes fluttered closed.Ā

So Iām going to ask you a favor, sleepyhead. Ever since we were kids, Iād always be the one to wake you up when you slept in. But this time, when all of this is over, will you come to wake me up?
Ā Zelda smiles when she sees him, rushing forward as if to greet him and call out his name, but she stops in her tracks when she gets closer. No, this isnāt the Link of her childhood- just a boy who looks eerily similar.
"It was an accident, mostly," she says when she hears his greeting. "I was lost for quite a while until I stumbled upon this place."
No, not her Link at all.
ā„ā-;Ā He flashes the same weak smile towards her, slowly rising to his feet. He felt a sense ofĀ familiarityĀ around herā one that reminded him of the princess that awaited his return.Ā
ā„ā-; āIĀ am sorry toĀ disappointĀ you, child.ā He speaks simply, but elegantly. He has a soft tone of voice, gloved hands idly tapping against the white cloth draped along his thighs. āYou are lost, you said? Do you need help on the way home? I will do all I can, I assure you.ā
His elegant speech dashes the last few embers of hope in her chest. He's definitely nothing like that clumsy boy she spent summers traversing the skies with.Ā Stupid, stupid, she tells herself. She's been alive too long for that to be a reality.
"Thank you," she says, awkwardly tucking a strand of blonde behind her ear. "I'm afraid I- I don't know my way around this land very well. I've been traveling for a while, and I sort of just...ended up here." Her throat tightens as she glances around, worry constricting her features. "You haven't seen a large bird around here, have you?"

Whoa, forgot I even made this! Sorry about that, friends! I'm still alive!
but after sherlock idk man
ā„ā-;Ā {Ā sits upon a lone rock in the midst of pebblesā a melancholy sigh escaping through pressed tiers. ears perk up at the sound of footsteps, head turning lazily towards the source of the sound.Ā }
ā„ā-;Ā {Ā upon recognition, a smile was flashed, weak and fleeting.Ā }Ā ā„ā-; āIĀ am surprised you were able to find me..ā

Hello!
It's very nice to meet all of you!Ā

WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?
My friends do, for sure, but sometimes I like to sit by the water and just watch the waves bobbing on the surface. Itās relaxingā¦
