For #TradeTuesday I'm honoring my friends and their new beer company. Seen above is are some of my favorite people in the world... Elliott Taylor and Carlo Mondavi, who comes from a wine making family. Even he said to me that beer is so much harder to make than wine. I'm very proud of them and their new company SONS. I was lucky about to try some early batches, and it's totally up my alley. A solid, very drinkable pilsner. Can't wait for it to be in stores!

Autumn is beginning to show her gorgeous face here in Utah. The temperatures are slowly dropping, the colors are steadily changing, and my heart is already aching because I know how quickly my favorite season will come and go. It’s the season when a cup of morning coffee is more than just a boost of energy… It’s also warming you amidst the chill, and adding to the array of earthy scents in the air… The woodsmoke that begins to rise from a neighbor’s chimney, and the dirty smell of the leaves. The season for pumpkin bread, scarves, football, and Harry Potter movies is here. I intend to take full advantage and enjoy every moment of it while I can. #soulsearchsunday

Well for #musicmonday an obvious choice is my new song "Come Up For Air." Check out the video! Also, my album, "Natural Causes" is now available for pre-order! Get it here: http://smarturl.it/NC_SkylarGrey You may notice that the iTunes track list reveals a surprise feature on one song. 😉 "Come Up For Air" is technically a break up song, but it's about loving the other person so much that you'll wait forever for them to come back to you...even if that means you'll die alone. The song writing process started when Marshall made the beat with drums that he was saving from Questlove. I heard it and wrote the hook for it right away. The verses took quite a while longer to construct. Marshall me gave me great feedback along the way, having me rework the lyrics over and over until they were the best they could be. In the video, my vision was to use nature to show time passing while I wait for my lover to return. Vines grow through the walls and floor, slowly wrapping around me until my eventual death by strangulation- a nod to my "Natural Causes" album title. Yes, the cockroaches crawling on my face are REAL. I named them Norman and Merrill and imagined they were tiny puppies, then it wasn't so bad. Apparently during filming they started humping on my face! I hope you enjoy the new song and video, and I really hope to see you all out on the Natural Causes Fall Tour! For #SoulSearchSunday here's a sped up video of my chairlift ride today... It's actually really slow and for 40 minutes or so you're just hanging out with the trees. I do it every day possible in the summer. It's so peaceful... Great views of mountains and sky, fragrant pine trees, sometimes you see deer eating grass below you... It's my meditation. Always makes me feel happy and present.

I'm a day behind I know.. But wanted to feature Demobaza for #StyleSaturday. I'm literally obsessed with this brand. I ordered some stuff recently and most of it fit great. Only problem is it comes from Bulgaria and shipping was expensive. Especially sending back what I didn't want. I hope they get more of a presence here in the states soon. It's #FoodieFriday and this is my go-to salad. I usually make a little more dressing or only use 1.5 heads of butter lettuce, and I ALWAYS add avocado and toasted slivered almonds. Sometimes a few green olives. It's such a refreshing salad with great flavor... The tarragon sets it off!!!! If you want to make a meal of it, add some grilled chicken or hard boiled eggs. Or both.
