as an expert of dinosaurs in my alternate universe, I believe Iris's main genome might be the hybrid dinosaur called the Indoraptor.

This thing was built to kill. It was aggressive. And its body shape is similiar to the specimen you said was called Iris.

I basing this off my own theories

All shapes and monster shapes created in the image of the tree, who is technically a dirty almost that talks through the trees it's given everything to the shapes, its life, and great positions of power and its own children for them to take care of. Now, the first time the corruption hit, it took mild offense but, then again, I think from what we get from Pyrare, that possibly Barricuda and dub were a bit young and dumb, so, it let that off with a slide....hoping nothing similar would happen again...but then

We get to the present day of the series ...the tree witnesses the same being, same foolish mortal being committed to causing havoc to its creation...it decided it has to punish Dub, somehow, and since he is technically connected to the tree, he starts making different parts of his body, melt, mutate..whatever...making him just a hostile mindless being however, this is its grave mistake..(I'm going based on the fact that all corrupts can communicate with dub via their little shape on their chest)....it doesn't realize that the virus doesn’t just live within dub alone
