Hi everyone, your friend Laurie is back!! I don’t really know how to start this so I’m getting right into it but summary for babes who cbf (honestly same lol). If you’re the anon who kept popping into my inbox with kindness in the months I was gone PLEASE read the edit at the end.

First of all, I’d like to apologize for my months of disappearances with no explanation. I know that was probably very frustrating for people who had requests or were waiting for more posts. Since the start of this year I’ve been horribly overwhelmed with irl stuff which I won’t get into for the sake of keeping heavy subjects out of this update, but I’ve finally been able to get some free time to get back to the things I love. Which moves me onto the next talking point.

I really have missed this blog and writing, but I think I need to go about it a different way. I put too much pressure on myself to fulfill requests without flaw and in a timely manner that I pushed myself into burnout, and so I’ve been thinking about how to do this the past couple of days. First of all, I’m deleting all requests in my inbox while I figure out what I wanna do. My inbox will still be open for a little while, but please don’t expect me to get around to it. I likely won’t do all of them, but I will make a post about it if I do stick with a request. I’m sorry to anyone who had a request or something in my drafts, I understand if this is upsetting.

I think from now on I’m mostly going to post when I’m inspired, maybe every once a month or so on average. The time pressure of someone waiting for me to churn something out really turned me away from writing so at least for a while I’m going to be completely unscheduled with my posting. Again, I’m very sorry to anyone who had a request in.

As well as this, I’d taken a BIG break from dead by daylight. Not only because of the irl stuff I mentioned making me too busy, but also because I kinda lost my love for the game and the characters. Thankfully, my feelings about it have been rekindled, and I’m really excited to return to the community.

Lastly, to my friends I’ve made through this blog. I’m so so sorry for disappearing and cutting people off, I know it doesn’t excuse it but I’ve been so socially overwhelmed the past couple of months that I’ve neglected to keep up with my online friends. I hope you can understand I wouldn’t have ghosted anyone without warning if I could’ve, but the circumstances made a lot of things extremely stressful at the time.

Sorry for this post being a bit serious, I’m not really sure how to cover everything without sounding like a bunch of excuses otherwise. Also I wrote this in my notes app at like 2am and copy pasted it here so I apologize for the messy format 😭 ily all and I’ve missed you!

hey loves! hope everyone’s well <33 this post was originally gonna be skull merchant nsfw headcanons bcs i cannot stop thinking about being adriana’s little housewife, but it turned out a lot more focused on toxic relationship than i had planned it to be 😭 please forgive me lmfao

Adriana gets extremely bored during trials without you, no amount of harassing or killing the other survivors ever satisfies her. Hence when she gets back from trials, she’s quite excited to play with her favourite toy.

How rough she’ll be depends on how it went.

If it was good, she’ll have you sit on her lap and tease you before the real fun begins. Fingers playing with the hem of your shirt, warm lips whispering low on the crook of your neck, a hand slipping through your hair just to pull it at the end. She’ll keep this up until you’re almost grinding on her thigh, softly whimpering for her to really touch you.

If it was bad (or anything slightly less than ok), she won’t even bother with the foreplay. You’ll only get a few seconds to register her footsteps before the killer has got you pinned down on her bed, mouth already on your neck while she harshly unbuttons your shirt.

But Adriana stops before going further, she always does.

As much as she knows what she wants, she cares about you and won’t ever do anything you don’t say yes to.

She’ll often let you know that too. Late at night when you’re pressed up tightly together, Adriana’s skilful fingers pushing you closer and closer to stumbling over the edge, she’ll tell you. How all the money in the world couldn’t buy something as good as you, how you mean more to her than anything she has. She hopes you’re too caught up in pleasure to remember what she says.

Seemingly despite this, killer can get rather rough in the bedroom, and she’s especially obsessed with leaving her mark on you.

Adriana’s favourite way to do so involves tracing her weapon along your body, the cool metal leaving calculated red lines behind it like thin ink on the finest paper. Deep enough to just sting, but never enough to hurt.

If she isn’t in the mood for that, rope is the next option. And not the pretty type. Itchy, industrial rope will be tied tightly around your wrists, forcing you to relinquish almost all control to Adriana. (Like you wouldn’t give it all to her the second she asked)

Degrading is something the killer rather enjoys as well. She loves to tease you towards your climax while hovering her wet lips barely above yours, smugly mocking you as she makes you declare how desperate you are for her. How you’re her brat, her little slut, her fucking anything as long as you’re hers.

Perfectly contrasted as she is, despite how rough she is during sex, Adriana is extremely loving afterwards.

You want a bath? She’ll carry you to the edge of the tub, running the water for a while to make sure the temperature is perfect before helping you in. You want food? She’ll have something delicious ready for you in a matter of minutes.

Not that it matters though, as what you really want is Adriana herself. And she’s more than reciprocating.

Wordlessly, the killer will wrap her arms around your waist and press you close to her, close as she can without hurting you. Soft kisses to the crown of your head often follow, and maybe a hand moving up to rest in your hair while she speaks her love for you.

Anyone else would say it’s far too intimate for the bizarre situation the two of you have. But both you and Adriana know your relationship goes far deeper than that, to the point its something only the two of you could ever understand.

And what more could you really need than that?

When The Skull Merchant arrived in the fog, she quickly found you were the only survivor who provided her with a real challenge. She immediately took a liking to you.

In trials together, she won’t even think about chasing you until all of your teammates are dead, then she lets the real chase begin. Until you die or escape, you’re stuck in the killer’s personal game of cat and mouse.

This goes on for months, coming to a climax in one trial where your allies are long dead, yet you’ve managed to avoid your pursuer so far. She’s getting frustrated, and it shows in the way she slams lockers harder than usual while searching for you.

You feel the tension in the air before you see the source, and she’s finally reaching your hiding spot. As The Skull Merchant opens the locker next to yours, you leap out and vault the window of the small building (known by fellow survivors as “The Killer Shack”).

She chases you around the building a few times, missing swings she’d normally hit because of how pent up you have her. Despite knowing she’s gonna be rough when she catches you, you slow down to let her get a hit. After all, it’s not like you don’t enjoy the special treatment the killer gives you.

However, instead of the familiar searing pain that comes from The Skull Merchant’s weapon putting you in the dying state, you receive a harsh shove that makes you fall down into the corner of the shack.

You turn your bleeding body around, expecting to meet a slow and painful death, but before you know what’s happening the killer’s weapon is stabbed into the wall next to your head and her lips are on yours.

You freeze up for a second or two, not expecting the action. Not that you’re upset by it, but doesn’t she want to kill you after eluding her for so long this trial? Noticing your stiffness, The Skull Merchant bites down hard on your bottom lip, pulling away and chuckling when it draws the desired yelp from you.

As she scans your face with her light eyes, you get a moment to take in the sight of her unmasked face. You knew the Skull Merchant was attractive already, but being this close to her for the first time is making your heart flutter and face heat up. You’re pulled out of your thoughts by another kiss, one much less rough but just as passionate as the first. One you find yourself leaning into.

As you feel the killer’s hands wrap around your wrists, moving to pin them above your head, a distant grumble and shake of the ground interrupts the two of you. The Entity reminding you this is a trial, and the time left for you to escape is drawing shorter.

Sighing, the Skull Merchant stands and picks you up, lifting you over her shoulder the same way she has so many times before. This time though, she’s holding you tighter around your waist, walking slower as if to prolong your time together. The familiar cold breeze of the hatch approaches, and the killer drops you right next to the dark void.

She nods once, as if to say “go, before I change my mind”, and you’re about to crawl through your escape before turning to face her again.

“Thanks, uh…”

“Adriana. Now go.”

And you do as she says, but not before giving her a shy smile which she returns with a smirk. You're excited for the next time the two of you meet, which happens to be a lot sooner than you'd expected...

Sally Smithson/The Nurse

Sally’s mask still smells like smoke from the asylum fire, leaving her hair with the permanent scent of ash. Please, when she takes off the cloth, play with her hair. It helps ground her in a way no one but you can.

The small things mean a lot to Sally, and she always takes note of them. You mentioned you like dancing? She’ll find a music box so you can dance together. You blush when her hands linger on yours? She’ll always find a reason to intertwine her fingers with yours.

The Nurse prefers to stay in her own realm, but if she doesn’t hear from you for a while she has no issue stalking around the boundary of the survivor camp to check you’re ok, much to the horror of anyone to see her.

Sally spends a lot of her time asleep on the various pieces of furniture in the Disturbed Ward, recovering from the fatigue of trials. Often she’ll draw up her mask to uncover her mouth, just to make breathing a little easier than normal.

Despite this, she’s so lively when you’re around, she can’t help but feel energised by your presence. It’s almost like she’s a match lit up whenever you come to see her.

You had a rough day/night? Please come to see Sally, she knows just how to help. She’ll pick you up bridal style and keep you safely tucked to her chest while carrying you to the nearest couch. Sitting down, she’ll keep you held close to her while stroking your hair and pressing soft kisses to the crown of your head.

Though she’s very changed now, Sally was once a nurse, and she has the best treatment reserved for only you <3

Adiris/The Plague

Adiris is someone who is very regal and reserved, often keeping her emotions hidden behind her ever guarded face.

Yet, you always manage to draw out her expressions. It starts with a small smile she can’t help when she sees you come to visit her, then a chuckle when you do something amusing, and if you catch her off guard by linking your hands with hers, you can even make her blush.

Adiris is so touch starved from years of attempting to keep the people around her rid of her infection, so it takes her a while to warm up to being physically affectionate with you. Though she craves nothing more than to hold you close to her, she’s scared to death about infecting you as well.

Instead, Adiris opts to use her words to express her feelings towards you (at least until she figures out The Entity prevents you from getting sick or infected outside trials). She was always well spoken in her life before the fog, and knowing that she’s speaking to you motivates her more. Though her babylonian words may be unfamiliar to your ears, with the adoring look in the priestess’s face the praise and meaning comes across the same.

After establishing physical contact is safe, you’ll have to help warm Adiris up to it, show her that you reciprocate her affections. Please, show her you’re not put off or disturbed by her scars and disfigurement. Hold her hands to your cheeks and kiss her palms, massage her shoulders after a trial, wrap your arms around her waist and hug her tightly, she loves it all. Adiris goes especially red if you pair these actions with sweet whispers against her skin, “my priestess”, “you’re gorgeous”, “please, you’re so much to me”.

Adiris will always find a way to be touching you somehow. A strong hand on your shoulder, an arm sneaking around your waist, her chest pressing into your back as she helps you reach for something. She loves it most when she gets you to rest your head in her lap, carding her slim fingers through your hair and hushing you to sleep.

Cuddling after a rough trial (DBD killers x reader pt.1)

hi!! only got a suggestion for Carmina for this one so i decided to break it up into a mini series, with each post being for a different killer 🩵

warnings: painstakingly oblivious crushing, made up a completely nonexistent room in the Eyrie of Crows (just imagine where the basement spawns in main building but if it were more of a bedroom/living area down there)

Carmina Mora/The Artist

the crows alert Carmina of your entrance to her realm before you even noticed them flying so close overhead. unknown to you, they also alert her of your melancholy mood.

deciding the stairs take too long, Carmina drops from her painting spot on the towers balcony to meet you in the desert below. softly cooing to you in concern, she takes her ink hands and begins searching you for injuries. though her care makes you smile, you inform your examiner that you’re not injured, just had a tough time in your trial.

Carmina’s face tightens immediately. of course, she understands. oftentimes survivors go out of their way to mess with her, being meant to kill them and all. yet, she can’t grasp why anyone would ever give you a hard time. in fact, how dare they? outstretching her arms, the killer offers you a hug, one you gratefully accept. feeling Carmina wrap around you with a gentle force that’s so unique to her, you already begin to relax, fully melted into the embrace.

if not for the small nagging ache from standing for so long, you could stay like this forever, yet you pull back eventually. too afraid to ask for more, you thank Carmina, asking if you could come watch her paint.

to which the answer is absolutely no.

The Artist is focused on you now, and she’ll try whatever she can to cheer you up. you don’t deserve to be upset. and she knows just the way to help (hopefully).

guiding you with an arm around your waist, Carmina takes you to the room downstairs: not the basement, more a bedroom. somewhat nervously hesitantly, The Artist sits down on a large couch in the room and pats her lap. hoping she doesn’t take note of your reddening face (she did, but her equally flushed expression gives her no right to complain. not that she would though,) you sit where Carmina asks, back facing her.

for the second time that day, inky arms wrap around your waist but this time it’s different. before you know what’s happening, your back collides with Carmina’s chest and you’re falling. when your brain starts working again, you realize you’re laying down on top of Carmina, being held so close you can feel every breath she takes. she caws into your ear, as if to ask if this is ok, and god you wish you had the words to tell her how better than ok this is. in response, you lean back just close enough to see her face and whisper “yes, this is ok,” pausing for a second, your gaze flickers between Carmina’s lips and her cheek. a thought comes to mind, but is quickly dismissed in fear of being rejected, “thank you. cawing sweetly in return, Carmina tries her best to shove down the rising butterflies that moment gave her. no, you need her comfort right now, she can let herself daydream about you later. for now, she drags one hand to rest between your ribcage and starts drawing soothing patterns just below your sternum.

before long, you’re asleep in each other’s embrace, the softness and comfort too delicate not to. both of you dreaming about the other, in longing of what happens next.

- at first, Sally just thinks you’re simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, always getting in the way and taking hits for your fellow survivors

- after a particular incident where you took a hit and were left on the ground to be killed in the endgame collapse with a relieved smile on your face, it clicked to her

- Sally finds herself drawn to you and your selfless nature, often seeking you out in the woods just outside the survivor camp

- as your relationship grows, you’ll always find yourself heading to Crotus Prenn Asylum after trials, Sally ready and waiting for you with treatment for the wounds the Entity didnt heal

- whenever you’re in a trial with her Sally will find you immediately, leading you to a safe space you can stay for the while so she knows you wont get hurt

- after she’s done with her duties, she comes to get you. interlinking her arms with yours and holding herself close to you, she pretends she doesnt know where the hatch is, just to spend more time with you <3

Rin Yamaoka/The Spirit

- when you start showing up in her trials, Rin is very frustrated. your friends will still be here after the trial, why can’t you just get out of her way?

- however the frustration is simply longing, disguised and twisted by the need to not depend on anyone

- deep down, Rin wishes more than anything she could’ve had you in her life before the fog, someone to be there for her, who could’ve saved her from her tragic fate

- this culminates in one trial at Ormond, after all your teammates had been sacrificed. Rin shut the hatch and was finally closing in on you, yet instead of pleading for your life or screaming insults as anyone else would do, you calmly take off your jacket and hold it out to her. its always awfully cold there after all

- though it just seemed the right thing to do to you, to Rin the simple kindness means so much more. immediately dropping to the floor, sword clattering on the carpet, she weeps

- hesitantly, you crawl towards her while offering your arms out for a comforting embrace that she strongly accepts

- you stay like this for a while, rubbing your hands in soothing circles on her back as Rin sobs into your chest. when she’s let it all out she rises and takes your hand, leading you to the hatch before whispering a thank you in her home tongue

- from then on you spend most of your time outside trials at the Yamaoka estate with Rin, growing closer each day

- and when you are in trials with her? she’ll chase you to the furthest corner of the map and with a kiss on the forehead, tell you to stay put until she can come back for you

- i hope you dont mind losing your jacket, because Rin is never giving it back. its so warm, so comfy, and though she wont say it out loud, its a way for her to keep herself grounded with your presence <3

the sight of you looking up at her never fails to make her pull you in by the waist and give you a kiss on the forehead

she’ll go get it for you, but she’ll make sure to take her time about it

she just loves teasing you so much, you cant blame her 🖤

Adriana has so so many pet names for you, almost always something referencing your height and god does she enjoy the flustered look you give her when she comes up with a new one

however as cruel as she may be in other areas of life, she’d never want to hurt you. hence why if you mentioned anything she does bothers you she’d cease immediately

she’s ABSOLUTELY big spoon, you’re just so cute and short how can she not??

though she’d never say it out loud, Adriana craves the feeling of being wrapped around your shorter frame. she needs to protect you, love you like no one else could

the only thing she loves more, (besides you ofc) is returning from a long business conference to see you asleep in your shared bed, wrapped up in a shirt of her’s

it looks so big on you, and seeing how you have your face tucked into the front where she sprays her perfume makes her heart do flips

she’ll swiftly change into something comfortable before stalking into bed as well, choosing to lay the way you’re facing this time

softly bringing your head to rest against her chest, Adriana kisses the top of your head and glides her nimble fingers across your scalp in a soothing massage

as she whispers softly about how much she loves you, how special you are to her, she pretends not to notice your eyelids flickering, clearly awake for a while and enjoying Adriana’s loving attention 🖤
