     “I was never in some position of power but apparently you don’t understand that.” These people, these things were hopeless. “I might not have hated you all before but I do now.” Caged, treated like some animal. “Yeah, right... Because this is not torture enough, might as well just kill me.” The slave simply shook his head. “I wouldn’t try and kill you, your blood on my hands wouldn’t be worth it. But I would try and run, every time ..”

Jude tried to ignore the man. He wasn’t the first person to sling insults at him and he wouldn’t be the last. Jude didn’t get along with the supernatural’s and the human’s didn’t accept him. It was just how things were for him. He pushed himself back until he could rest his back against the wall. It wasn’t that Achilles wasn’t finding the situation amusing. Karma surely had a way to fuck shit up and the vampire couldn’t deny that the irony was several degrees of entertaining. “Not all wolves and vampires were bad either and yet – we were hunted down throught centuries. We were viewed as monsters. People like you considered us sport.” The vampire brushed his hair behind his hair, slowly approaching the cell and keeping a close watch on the human. Funny how things changed. “Your kind didn’t care whether or not we weren’t all bad… I guess this is sort of – poetic justice? It must suck to be stuck inside a cage like that. Viewed as nothing more than a plaything. Wow – Karma is indeed a fucking bitch.”

    “Well the lot of you are monsters, your case is not very strong with you standing here before me.” He shot back with a roll of his eyes. “If they were like me they didn’t kill, they didn’t care. Were his words supposed to ease his like towards his kind? Where were the kind hearted humans when his mother begged for her life, and her families? All Andrew could do was roll his eyes at the poor attempt in trying to find his way out. “You understand that all you’ve said about humans not being the bad is null and void when you practically said you should have taken up on the hunting tips, don’t you?” the question was rhetorical. “If you’re going to continue screaming, i’m going to have to rip that tongue out, so you can either get used to it, or forever live your life never being able to speak again.” it was an idle threat. He knew the rules, but he dared the male to defy against him. If humans were not at all bad, he’d give in. Stay quiet. Do as he was told.

    “Considering where I’m standing and where you are standing, no it’s not even close to being void. It merely proves what my father tried beating into my brain. That I was just too weak to pull the trigger, maybe I wouldn’t be here.” Like that was going to happen, it only had him laughing. “You are nothing but what is said about you, monsters. I now see that, after so long of keeping my eyes closed. I will not be silenced.”

He must be a new one, he thought to himself, as he walked ahead and peaked inside the one where he believed the shout came from. And he was right, the man inside was a new face to him, and clearly not a pleased one. Who could be pleased in his situation? “Good evening…” The slave stared at the newcomer, concern reflecting in light brown eyes. “I assume you were just brought in. My name is Daniel, and yours?”

    “So this is what I get? Locked in some cage because I’m human?” Not all humans were bad, not all hunted their kind, not all hated them but now. Now he hated them more than ever. “I should have taken my father upon all those hunting trips.” He groaned out, hands running through his hair. He’s been on plenty hunting trips, knew how to handle them, knew how to fight and yet he never once took a life. He tried, he tried so many times and each time failed. “We aren’t all bad!” He shouted, voice echoing out.
