The Ohio River...yuck. Fuck seasonal shit, Appalachia causes the perpetual blues any damn day of the century. I try to make peace with everything so that I can move forward but I can't seem to get away from the small-town mentality and open the door for the positive change that I need to see in my life. I'm eager for that to happen -- positive change -- yet, every time there is even a glimpse of hope of that happening...it...just...doesn't happen. Sometimes, it feels like hope is floating down the Ohio, and I'm just over here losing my religion as I watch it go. Bye, hope. Please don't go.
